Chapter 445: Divination prediction

The next morning, the weather was gray and gloomy. When Albert was having breakfast, it began to drizzle.

At this moment, there was a sudden noise in the hall, and whispers began to fill the air, as if everyone was talking about something in a low voice.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know." George took the lead over Lee Jordan and ran to ask others for information.

"This guy has stolen my job again." Lee Jordan took out a piece of parchment from his backpack and handed it to Albert.

"What's this?"

"The list of the top 16 players in the Wizard Card Tournament." Lee Jordan took a big bite of bread covered with peanut butter and answered incoherently.

After Albert finished the food on his plate, he picked up the list of players for the Wizard Card Competition given by Lee Jordan. The selection of the top sixteen had already ended yesterday, and there were not many changes from the previous one.

If there is a difference, it is that there may be a dark horse.

Isobel, a guy who hardly ever plays wizard cards, was able to defeat the other players and easily make it to the top 16.

"I just heard that Filch found Kenneth Toller unconscious in the bathroom on the third floor." George brought back some unpleasant news.

Fred paused in spreading peanut butter on his bread and looked up at George. "Kenneth was attacked?"

"When Filch found Kenneth, his head was stuffed into the toilet and his pants were taken off. He looked miserable."

Everyone can actually guess who attacked Kenneth.

It's probably Flint from Slytherin.

Last time, Kenneth Toller had his pants taken off by Slytherin Quidditch captain Marcus Flint, which caused a feud between the two sides. Earlier this month, Kenneth was found fainted in the bathroom with his pants taken off.

"If he was in the bathroom on the third floor, how come no one found him in advance?" Fred asked in confusion as he took a bite of bread.

"He must have been cast under an illusion spell, or was directly stuffed into the compartment. If he didn't wake up, it would be difficult to find him." Albert stuffed the list into his schoolbag.

"There's something odd about this," muttered George.

"Tell me what you found." Fred motioned for George to continue.

"Will Marcus Flint take revenge on Kenneth Toller twice?" George thought for a moment and asked, "If the first time was revenge, what about the second time?"

"It's also revenge." Lee Jordan hurriedly finished his bread, picked up his schoolbag and left the hall with his roommates.

Fred and George disagreed with Lee Jordan's point of view.

On the way to the divination classroom, Albert suddenly asked, "Have you taught Kenneth the Disillusionment Charm?"

"Yes, Kenneth has mastered it, although he is still unable to use the Disillusionment Charm skillfully." George seemed to have thought of something when answering Albert's question.

"you mean… "

"This time, it is estimated that Kenny wanted to seek revenge on Flint, but accidentally fell into his hands." Albert told the three people his guess.

If that's the case, some things are easy to explain.

If someone comes to cause trouble for them, they will definitely teach the other person a memorable lesson.

At this moment, Albert and his companions also realized that the Disillusionment Charm was not as reliable as before, and Flint was obviously on guard against it.

"Oh, there's one more thing." George whispered, "I heard that Kenneth can't remember who attacked him. His memory must have been erased."

"It seems that the other party is well prepared!"

Albert could guess what was going on without even thinking. Marcus Flint was ready for revenge.

"What are you going to do?" Fred also found it troublesome. Ever since they started studying the joke props, he didn't want to waste time on that group of people.

"Find an opportunity to catch them all in one fell swoop, and erase some of their memories at the same time." Albert was also prepared to solve the problem once and for all, and didn't want to continue to tangle with them.

"How about you do some divination later?" Fred suggested. They were just about to have a divination class.

The second half of the divination class is about crystal ball divination. So far, except for Albert who is suspected to be able to predict the future, there are no other wizards who can predict the future. Most of the students just make up stories to deal with Professor Trelawney.

"That's a good idea." Albert walked up the stairs into the attic.

Before class began, Professor Trelawney announced that crystal ball divination would be the main subject of the final exam, and everyone needed to tell her what they saw in the crystal ball.

"What do you think we should think about when the time comes?" Lee Jordan said in a low, self-deprecating voice, "How about predicting Gryffindor winning the Quidditch Cup?"

"I think we should predict that Gryffindor will eventually defeat Slytherin and win the House Cup." Fred said without hesitation. "In fact, we did predict the future results."

"What do you see?" George asked in a low voice. In his field of vision, there was nothing to see in the crystal ball except the swirling white mist.

"Well, I saw... an attack. There were a lot of people on the other side." Albert couldn't help but frowned, recalling the scene that passed through the crystal ball. He speculated, "Maybe you and Fred were ambushed?"

"Child, tell me, what did you see in the crystal ball?" Professor Trelawney came over here at some point.

"I saw there was no paper in the bathroom," Albert muttered.

"Does this mean that if you want to go to the bathroom, you'd better bring your own tissues." Fred teased in a weird tone.

When the other students in the class heard Fred's teasing, they couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Professor Trelawney frowned and looked unhappy.

"Mr. Weasley, tell me, what do you see in your crystal ball?" Professor Trelawney's tone rose a few degrees.

After being asked by Professor Trelawney to perform a divination, Fred began to pretend. After about two minutes, he told everyone that he saw a trophy and announced that Gryffindor would win this year's Quidditch trophy.

"Well, dear," Professor Trelawney sighed after looking into the crystal ball, "I'm sure you did the best you could."

"She actually thought Gryffindor would lose the game?" Fred looked at Professor Trelawney's back as she walked away and couldn't help but sneer, "Harry easily defeated the Slytherin team and the Hufflepuff team. This year's Quidditch trophy will definitely belong to the Gryffindor team."

"That's not the point. Albert said we would be attacked." George lowered his voice and reminded, "The other party may find a lot of helpers."

All three of them have participated in Albert's training, and their actual combat abilities are much stronger than most students. Even if the opponent is a senior student, they will not necessarily lose.

But if the other side has the advantage in numbers, the situation will be completely different.

"Why don't we two act as bait and lure the other side into the trap?" Fred obviously disagreed with George's point of view. Knowing that they were being ambushed, they did nothing and let the other side subdue them. This was not a stupid thing they would do. What's more, they also had Albert. Even if they were at a disadvantage in numbers, they would not necessarily lose, unless Albert was ambushed and knocked down directly.

The probability of this happening is very small, after all, Albert can see through those poorly cast Disillusionment Spells.

After hearing what Fred said, Albert was also stunned.

He understood what Fred meant. Was he planning to use him as bait to lure out the other party and catch them all in one fell swoop

This seems to make sense, but... it seems a bit...

"We can't be sure when the enemy will attack us. Don't forget Albert said that the other side has a lot of people." Li Jordan rarely used his brain to think hard.

"The fact that a lot of people can gather here means it must be meal time or the weekend break time."

"If we really want to do that, we can use him." George raised his hand and pointed at Montague from Slytherin, a guy who wasn't very smart.

"I think that's a good idea."

The three of them looked at Albert, waiting for his final decision.

"Okay, let's do this."

Albert glanced at the new panel task and nodded in agreement with the three people's plan.

After class, Albert deliberately discussed the next plan in a low voice with Fred, George and Lee Jordan, and was coincidentally heard by Slytherin's Mrs. Montgomery.

"Do you think he will believe it?" Lee Jordan looked at Mrs. Montgomery's departing back, not thinking that the other party would believe the conversation just now.

After all, they had been so obvious just now, as if they had done it on purpose for him to hear it.

"No," Albert said softly, "but I think he'll be smart enough."
