Chapter 451: We understand

On Saturday morning, Albert slept until nearly eight o'clock.

He hasn't stayed in bed for a long time.

Sitting on the bed, he reached out and scratched his head, recalling what happened last night. Albert found it hard to imagine that he had actually been lying in bed chatting with Isobel on the messages for several hours. Now that he thought about it carefully, it was really incredible.

He finally understood why his roommates in high school in his previous life were able to text with each other all night long.

"It's rare to see you get up late."

Fred looked at Albert, who had just gotten out of bed and was still sleepy, and couldn't help laughing: "George was just betting with me that you might sleep until noon."

"How is that possible?" Albert covered his yawn again, lowered his eyes to look at Tom who was concentrating on eating breakfast, and shook his head. Fat cat Tom's weight still showed no signs of decreasing, it seemed that he had a long way to go to complete the task of losing weight.

Yesterday, Nia wrote to me, saying that she was worried that Tom was not having a good time in school and was being bullied by other cats or kids. She suggested that I should take some photos of Tom and send them back to her.

Tom is having a very good time in Gryffindor College. Everyone knows that this fat cat is Albert's pet. As the saying goes, a dog relies on the power of his master, and a cat naturally relies on his cat father.

In Gryffindor House, everyone would give some face to Albert, the genius.

Today, Tom is the favorite in Albert's dormitory, and gets along well with Fred, George and Lee Jordan.

If Albert didn't prepare Tom's dinner in time, Fred, George or Lee Jordan would prepare it for him, and occasionally play with him using a cat toy or combing his hair.

This guy is living a very comfortable and self-satisfied life now, and he is often strolling around the castle.

"This is the inspiration George and I got from the powerful laxative last time." Fred handed his notebook to Albert, who took it and looked at the words on it.

"Quick-acting candy for skipping classes?"

"That's a good idea." Albert looked at the Weasley twins' ideas and drawings again.

“The quick-acting skipping candy will be a two-color candy, with different colors at the two ends.

"Eating one half will cause a fever. Then on the way out of the classroom to the hospital, you can swallow the other half, and the fever will go down immediately, so you can skip class." George introduced his and Fred's new idea to Albert.

"That's true," Albert agreed.

"However, there are some problems at present." At this point, Fred and George both showed some embarrassment and helplessness, "We haven't found anything that can make people feverish when eaten."

Albert immediately knew why Fred and George had said so much to him. Didn’t they see that Lee Jordan couldn’t help rolling his eyes

"Don't just limit yourself to magical plants, you can also try some of the properties of magical animals, such as the toxins of some magical creatures." Albert's understanding of these things was actually very limited. He could only give the twins some suggestions, and the rest depended on their own research.

"You still have enough time to find new inspiration and materials. Pay more attention to what the professors teach in class. There are many things that can be used in the development of joke props, but you often ignore them." Albert was well aware that his two roommates had no intention of learning.

He himself was also helpless.

Without sufficient knowledge as a foundation, many things cannot be put into action even if you come up with them, just like the twins now want to make quick-acting candy for skipping classes, but they do not have enough knowledge reserves.

If Fred and George had a solid knowledge of herbology and magical biology, they would be able to get the right formula right away, and at most it would just take a little longer to make the antidote.

"When are we going to break into the restricted corridor on the fourth floor?" When Lee Jordan saw that the three had finished their conversation, he asked another question. They had been training with Albert for a long time and could not wait to break into the mechanism set up by the professors.

All three were convinced that Albert had a way to deal with the big dog.

"Easter." Albert said without hesitation. He had already booked the date. He turned his head to Lee Jordan and said, "This Wizarding Card Tournament should be finished before the end of March. I remember that we have to go to Hogsmeade next month, and everyone has to start preparing for the exams. There is not much energy to waste on this matter."

"That's not a problem."

The four of them packed up their things and went downstairs to the lobby to have breakfast.

Soon after Albert sat down, he received several belated replies.

Fred, George, and Lee Jordan were also pretending to examine the food on their plates, as if they were afraid that they would also become victims of the laxative incident.

However, the laxative incident has come to an end since the Bloody Barrow ordered Peeves to stop adding laxatives to food.

As for who gave Peeves the laxative, even the Bloody Baron didn't know.

After all, Albert had an agreement with Peeves that Peeves could not leak their information, otherwise they would not provide Peeves with interesting things in the future.

Peeves naturally didn't want to miss such a good opportunity.

Everything Albert gave him was very interesting, except that the quantity was a little small. That small packet of bean powder brought Peeves a lot of joy.

The reason why Peeves stopped adding laxatives to food was not because of the Bloody Baron, but because the mulberry bean powder that Albert had kindly provided had run out.

It's a good opportunity to take a break from the fun for a while.

Although Peeves likes to play tricks, he also knows that everything should be done in moderation.

"What’s wrong with you?"

George, chewing a sausage and flipping through today's Daily Prophet, followed Albert's gaze towards the teachers' seats.

"nothing."

Albert had already withdrawn his gaze. He could sense that Professor Quirrell seemed very happy.

What could make him so happy

Albert thought about it carefully and could probably guess several possible reasons.

Professor Quirrell has got his hands on the dragon egg and is planning to use it to bribe Hagrid

"By the way, when did Hagrid get the dragon eggs?" As Albert absentmindedly stuffed the last piece of bread into his mouth, he saw Hermione Granger walking towards him.

"Albert, there is something I want to talk to you about alone." Hermione took a deep breath and said to Albert.

"What's the matter?" Albert looked at Hermione in confusion. After noticing her serious look, he nodded in agreement subconsciously, "Oh, okay, let's go over there."

After that, Albert turned around and said to his three roommates, "You go to the library first, I'll come find you later."

"No rush, take your time chatting." The three of them gave Albert an expression that said we understand.
