As soon as they stepped over the threshold, they couldn't believe what they saw.
There was only one table in the room, on which were seven medicine bottles of various shapes.
"A table and some bottles. Is this Snape's mechanism?" Lee Jordan had just finished speaking when a purple flame suddenly rose up behind them, completely blocking the entrance. Flames also rose up from the door leading to the front, but this time they were black flames.
They were trapped in the room.
"This color of flame doesn't look... good!"
"Even if you don't say it, we can see it." George glared at Lee Jordan unhappily, asking him to shut up. He turned his head to look at Albert and asked, "What should we do now?"
"The secret must be in those bottles on the table. Look what this is!" Fred reached out and grabbed a piece of parchment next to the bottle. He cleared his throat and read the contents of the parchment:
Danger is ahead, safety is behind.
There are two of us who can help you.
Drink them, one leads you forward, the other takes you back to where you came from.
Two contained nettle wine.
Three of them are killers, waiting in line...
Except for Albert, the other three were confused.
"This should be a puzzle game!" Fred muttered something, stuffed the parchment to Albert, and simply gave up participating in the puzzle game.
"Just tell us later how you solved the mystery!" Lee Jordan patted Albert on the shoulder, as if to entrust this task to you.
George also spread his hands and said with a helpless smile: "I'm not good at this either."
Albert ignored these three scumbags and continued reading:
Make your choice, unless you wish to be delayed here forever.
We also provide four clues to help you choose:
First, no matter how cunningly poisons hide, they are actually on the left side of nettle wine;
"Actually, this is just a logical reasoning game." Albert quickly read the contents of the parchment and quickly came to this conclusion.
"You probably don't know that many great wizards actually have no ability of logical reasoning." Fred complained after hearing Albert's words.
"I bet, if you weren't here, we'd probably be stuck here forever," George echoed, with an expression that said, "You're trying to solve a puzzle."
"You won't." Albert said suddenly.
"What?" None of the three understood what Albert meant.
"You won't be trapped here forever. Headmaster Dumbledore will come and get you out." Albert said and looked at it again.
After finding out that Albert had finished reading, George couldn't help but be curious. What did you find? "
"What this paper means is that these seven bottles: three are poison; two are wine." Albert handed the parchment to George and said.
"Among them, there is a bottle that can allow us to safely pass through the black flame. Yes, it is the smallest bottle, which can help us pass through the black flame. As for the bottle that can send us back through the purple flame, it is this one." Albert took out the round bottle on the right and introduced it.
"How do you know?" The three of them were stunned for a moment, feeling it was incredible. How could Albert make such a quick judgment
"It's simple. Mark the seven bottles from left to right from one to seven."
"mark?"
"Well, the markings are for easy identification. The fourth point on the parchment is the second from the left and the second from the right. Although they look different, they taste the same." Albert pointed to the bottles of two and six and said, "According to the third point, you will find that the bottles are of different sizes. There is no death hidden in the giant and the dwarf, which shows that six is not poison. The taste is the same, and it is not poison, so it means that two and six are filled with nettle wine."
"Because poisons are so cunning in hiding, they are actually standing to the left of nettle wine, so seven is not poison."
"By process of elimination, the poison can only be in one, three, four, and five." Albert pointed to the four bottles and said, "The third bottle is the smallest of the seven, the so-called dwarf, so it is not poison."
"All the antidotes can only be three and seven." Albert picked out two bottles and continued to explain: "According to the different contents of the bottles on the left and right ends of the second point, if you want to move forward, they will not be of any use to you. In other words, the one on the right cannot help you move forward, so it can only help us retreat through the purple flame."
"Is it that simple?"
After listening to Albert's explanation, the three of them immediately understood what this so-called logic game was all about.
"It's really simple. As long as you have a decent brain, you should be able to figure it out."
"But I guess I can't tell it at a glance like you do!"
The three of them couldn't help but secretly wonder if Albert was calling them idiots.
"I'm afraid there's only enough potion in here for one person," Fred said, grabbing the smallest bottle and shaking it. "I don't think there's even enough to take a sip!"
The four of them looked at each other, and finally Fred handed the vial to Albert.
If anyone could carry on, it was Albert.
"There is a way!" Albert thought for a moment and said, "Using the Refilling Charm may allow us to pass through the black flames together, but doing so is risky. I am not sure whether the potion filled with the Refilling Charm is effective because I have never tried it."
"Is it really possible?"
No one wants to stop here.
"I don't know. The black flame doesn't give me a good feeling. It's a bit like the legendary Fiendfyre, but Fiendfyre can't be so docile.
"Albert thought about it and finally gave up the idea of letting Fred, George and Lee Jordan take the risk. If they got hurt, it would be very unprofitable.
"Forget it, just wait here!" he said to the three people.
"Remember to tell us later, Headmaster Dumbledore
What good stuff is hidden here? "Although Fred, George and Lee Jordan felt a little regretful, they did not insist. They could also feel that these flames were dangerous.
"knew."
Albert opened the smallest bottle and drank the liquid in one gulp.
A chill suddenly penetrated Albert's whole body, making him shiver uncontrollably.
Albert threw the empty bottle to Fred and walked forward quickly. The black flames did not pose any threat to him.
After passing through the black flames, Albert walked down a staircase and soon arrived at a room.
Sure enough, it was similar to the description in the novel. The Mirror of Erised, which was previously seen in the Room of Requirement, was moved here by Dumbledore as the final mechanism.
Albert was curious whether he could take the Philosopher's Stone out of the magic mirror.
He walked slowly towards the magic mirror and looked at himself in the mirror. It seemed... nothing had changed!
No, it's not that nothing has changed.
Albert found himself in the mirror smiling at him, and then, Albert in the mirror actually... took out a red stone from his pocket.
That was the Philosopher's Stone that Albert had seen from Nicolas Flamel.
"This... can't be..."
Albert reached into his pocket and found a red stone.
Looking at the Philosopher's Stone in front of him, Albert was speechless.
Is this possible
"The headmaster should have a way to put the Philosopher's Stone back!" Albert comforted himself.
