Chapter 470: Leaker

"I haven't quite figured out how much of the magical mechanisms Quirrell has found out, but he is definitely not as timid as he appears to be."

In the headmaster's office, Snape was reporting the latest intelligence to Dumbledore.

"I suspect that the magic mechanism you asked us to set up is completely useless." Snape looked at Dumbledore, who was sitting at the desk with his hands crossed thinking about the problem, and said expressionlessly: "If Quirrell is really the dark wizard who broke into Gringotts."

"I never expected those magical mechanisms to be able to stop peepers." Dumbledore said calmly, "But it is undeniable that those magical mechanisms still work well until now, don't you think, Severus?"

"There is another thing. Harry Potter is investigating the thing you hid on the fourth floor, and he should have known a lot of things." Snape couldn't help showing disgust on his face when he mentioned Potter. "He likes to show off, make trouble, violate discipline, and be rude just like his father."

"Other teachers say that the boy is humble, easy-going and talented," Dumbledore said calmly.

"He might be involved in this matter." Snape's tone suddenly paused, and he said firmly, "No, I should say that he is self-righteous and will definitely be involved in this matter. Do you know something? Who is behind Quirrell and instigated him to steal things from the school? From what I know about Quirrell, he doesn't seem like someone who has the courage to break into Gringotts and steal."

"There have been some speculations." Dumbledore's eyes moved to the exquisite silverware on the table that was suddenly emitting white smoke.

"who?"

When Snape asked this question, he couldn't help but reach out and grab his arm: "It's him! This is impossible! Isn't he dead? And the Dark Mark hasn't changed."

"You should know that Voldemort is not dead yet."

When Dumbledore mentioned Voldemort, the muscles on Snape's face twitched slightly.

"Well, thank you for taking care of Quirrell's affairs." Dumbledore took the initiative to end the conversation.

After Snape left the headmaster's office, he couldn't help but squint his eyes and look at the exquisite silverware on the table that was emitting white smoke.

"Who could it be?"

In the room, Albert sat on a chair, flipping through his notebook boredly with the help of a blazing torch in front of him. There was a blood-red stone at his feet.

If Quirrell was here at this moment, he would definitely recognize that this was the legendary Philosopher's Stone. The precious Philosopher's Stone was thrown on the ground by Albert like garbage.

If Qi Luo knew this, he would probably be so angry that he would vomit blood!

But then again, is this thing really the Philosopher's Stone

Albert actually couldn't judge, but he tried to turn other objects into "gold", but all failed.

Perhaps, as Albert initially guessed, this is just a stone that looks very much like the Philosopher's Stone. Otherwise, why would it be placed here as bait

What if it really gets stolen

Whether the Philosopher's Stone is real or not, it doesn't matter to Albert. He comes here to take risks and break into the magic mechanisms set up by the professors just to complete the mission of "Jumanji".

As for the Philosopher's Stone

Even if it was real, he couldn't take it away.

If Albert was really asked to steal the Philosopher's Stone, he would not give up a forest for a tree.

Well, actually the benefits of betrayal are not great enough.

There were strange footsteps coming from the corridor outside. Albert turned his head and greeted the person with a smile: "Good evening, Mr. Dumbledore."

"Good evening, Mr. Anderson." Dumbledore greeted Albert with a smile. "What are you doing here?"

"Isn't it obvious? It's a great adventure." Albert bent down and picked up the Philosopher's Stone under Dumbledore's gaze. "However, the prize for passing the level is a little beyond my expectations."

"I walked over to the Mirror of Erised and looked in the mirror, and I found myself in the mirror actually taking this thing out of my pocket. Your magic mechanism makes me feel incredible."

As he spoke, Albert extended his hand holding the Philosopher's Stone to Dumbledore and placed the Philosopher's Stone in the headmaster's hand.

The latter looked at the Philosopher's Stone in his hand, then looked up at Albert and asked with a smile, "How do you feel?"

"Feeling? The magic mechanism is quite interesting, but a little simple." Albert grinned and said, "However, my favorite is Professor McGonagall's giant chessboard formation. This kind of large-scale wizard chess is really fun to play. It is a very powerful transformation magic. The most annoying one is Professor Quirrell's giant monster level. To be honest, I think the smell is really disgusting and unhygienic."

"Actually, I don't like dealing with trolls. They always make themselves stink." Dumbledore winked at Albert.

"It's not safe here." Albert saw Dumbledore walking towards the magic mirror and raised his eyebrows and asked, "Are you going to keep the Philosopher's Stone here?"

“Just leave it here. The greedy people who want to get the Philosopher’s Stone cannot take it out of the Mirror of Erised.”

Dumbledore raised his wand and cast a complicated magic that Albert could not understand, and the Philosopher's Stone was hidden in the mirror again.

"Sir, is this really Mr. Nico's Philosopher's Stone?" Albert suddenly asked.

"Why do you ask that?"

"I heard that the Philosopher's Stone can turn any object into 'gold'."

"Have you tried it?" asked Dumbledore.

"Yes, it is the legendary Philosopher's Stone after all." Albert admitted straightforwardly. "But, it failed."

"The Philosopher's Stone cannot create gold." Dumbledore patted Albert on the shoulder and said, "Let's go. Your companions are still waiting for you. Don't let them worry."

No points were added or deducted, and it was as if nothing had happened. Dumbledore was as gentle as a grandfather facing his naughty grandson.

Dumbledore didn't need to drink the antidote. He just waved his wand and easily separated the flames, allowing them to pass smoothly.

"Sir, is this the fierce fire?" Albert asked, looking back at the black flame.

"No, you should have read the information about Fiendfyre. You should understand that it is difficult to control such a flame. Once it gets out of control, it will be a disaster." Dumbledore looked back at Albert and reminded him, "In the history of magic, many wizards were burned to death by the Fiendfyre when they tried to control it."

"As far as I know, Professor Snape is very good at the Dark Arts, at least better than Professor Quirrell." Albert said in a strange tone: "He should know the Fiery Curse and be able to control it perfectly!"

Dumbledore added: "This is not Fiendfyre, and I will not allow anyone to use such dangerous magic in school."

"Those two bottles of so-called antidote are actually the same potion, right!" Albert suddenly said.

"Why do you say that?"

"My intuition tells me that the two bottles should be the same." Albert said to himself, "That's just the answer written on the parchment, and the answer may not be all true."

Albert suddenly felt sorry for Quirrell, who was being played like this.

Dumbledore just smiled and didn't answer.

They arrived at the exit, where Fred, George and Lee Jordan were already there.

"Gentlemen, please keep what happened tonight a secret." Dumbledore looked around at the four people present and said, "Don't talk about it outside."

"Of course." The four said in unison.

"You must swear not to tell anyone or leak it to anyone intentionally." Dumbledore looked at them seriously and said.

"We will not tell anyone, nor will we intentionally leak it to anyone."

After Albert swore, he glanced at his panel and it seemed that some new task was triggered. He opened the panel task when no one was paying attention and was stunned.

The new mission is: Leaker
