Chapter 477: It's really unreliable

Views:

Albert had no idea how Quirrell was doing recently, but he just wanted to live a good life.

One day after the Easter holiday, Hagrid suddenly asked Sheila to bring a note to Albert with four words written on it: Almost hatching.

"What's about to hatch?" Fred asked curiously, looking at the contents of the note.

"Hagrid's little pet." Albert put the note into his pocket and said without thinking. Although the scene of a dragon hatching was rare, Albert did not intend to go over to watch.

If I went there, Fred, George and Lee Jordan might follow me, and who knows what would happen next.

So, let Harry Potter and his friends take their time to figure it out!

"What little pet?" George asked.

"A little lizard." Albert reminded: "Why, are you interested? Don't forget, you still have classes later."

In the three people's impression, Hagrid's pets were all relatively ferocious. They were really puzzled that he would actually keep a lizard, but the three people did not spend much time on it and went to class with Albert.

If Albert didn't go, they basically wouldn't go either. The three of them didn't have as good a relationship with Hagrid as Albert did.

However, Harry is different from them. He has a very good relationship with Hagrid. After receiving Hagrid's note, he even wants to skip class to watch the dragon hatch.

The two were sternly stopped by Hermione on the grounds of not causing trouble for Hagrid.

They had no idea that their conversation was overheard by Malfoy who was passing by.

If Draco Malfoy still remembered Albert's prophecy, perhaps he would not have gotten involved in this matter. Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy had long forgotten the prophecy Albert gave him.

This unlucky guy was led into a trap by Harry Potter.

After the Herbology class, Harry, Ron and Hermione dropped their shovels and hurried towards Hagrid's hut.

Hagrid was actually standing outside the door to greet them, looking very excited.

"Cracks have appeared on the dragon egg. It will come out soon." He welcomed the three people into the house.

"Isn't Albert here?" Hermione was very surprised when she didn't see Albert when she entered the room. She knew that no matter how busy Albert was, he should be able to come.

"He's not coming." Hagrid stared at the crack on the dragon egg and said absentmindedly, "It seems he has other things to do."

"That's a pity. Most wizards will only see a few dragons hatching in their lifetime." Ron stared at the dragon egg and said excitedly, "I heard a sound."

A very interesting clicking sound was constantly coming from the dragon egg in front of me.

Perhaps, the little dragon in the dragon shell is struggling, preparing to break out of the egg.

The few of them were becoming more and more nervous and focused, and they didn't notice at all that Malfoy, who had followed them just now, was carefully walking around the hut, lying beside the window, and peeking into the hut through the gap in the curtains.

Suddenly, a sharp scraping sound came from the dragon egg.

The egg cracked.

The little dragon fluttered and staggered out of the eggshell, turned its head and looked around, not afraid, and sneezed, and a few sparks came out of its nose, setting Hagrid's beard on fire. Then, it bit Hagrid's finger when he was about to touch its head, grinning and showing its sharp fangs, showing its true nature as a predator.

"Oh my God, look, it knows its mother, it knows its mother!" Hagrid screamed excitedly, making Hermione want to cover her face. When she turned her head, she saw a dark shadow by the window and screamed: "Who's there!"

"What's going on?"

"Someone just peeked through the cracks in the curtains!"

Hagrid heard the fleeing footsteps, turned pale, jumped up and ran to the window.

Harry and Ron rushed to the door almost immediately, hurriedly opened the wooden door and looked out.

Even though the distance was a little far, even if the other person was only left with bones, Harry would never make a mistake. The person who was leaning against the window and peeking just now was Malfoy.

To make matters worse, he saw the little dragon.

At this moment, Harry, Ron and Hermione were very uneasy. They all realized that Malfoy was most likely here with them.

Albert was right, their ability to keep secrets was indeed very poor.

Harry looked at the bewildered Hagrid and felt very sad. He had gradually figured out why Malfoy followed him. Apparently, Malfoy overheard their conversation about dragon eggs while they were having dinner.

However, Harry didn't dare tell Hagrid about this.

"I'm sorry Hagrid, Malfoy may have followed us because he overheard our conversation." Hermione lowered her head in shame and apologized to Hagrid, "Albert is right, we can't keep a secret well."

Harry's face turned pale and then flushed red. He was ashamed of himself for trying to shirk his responsibility.

Ron's expression was also a little unnatural. He remembered what he said a while ago: We will definitely keep this secret well.

What's the result

They leaked the secret!

Hagrid was also very regretful. He finally understood what Albert meant by that. He didn't care at the time, but now it's too late.

"What should I do?" Hagrid trembled all over at the thought of what might happen next.

"Write to Albert, he's sure he can find a solution." Hermione suggested.

"Yes, Albert will definitely find a way." Hagrid prepared to write a letter to Albert.

"Didn't he want Dumbledore to send the dragon away?" Ron muttered softly, and his words made Hagrid stop writing the letter in delight.

"It's too small. It will die if it's not taken care of." Hagrid's cheeks were immediately wet with tears.

There was an eerie silence in the room.

"Don't worry, Hagrid, we can definitely think of a solution." said Hermione.

"Are you crazy?"

When they left Hagrid's hut, Ron complained in a low voice: "That genius doesn't have any good ideas, what can you do? Even if Malfoy doesn't tell on the dragon, it won't be possible to hide it from other people in the school for more than a month. Besides, Malfoy may go to Dumbledore at any time."

"I'm not worried about that, but if Snape knew that Hagrid had a dragon, the situation might be worse. I don't know what he would do."

Harry was not worried about the headmaster. Since Albert thought the headmaster was reliable, he should be more or less reliable, but Snape was obviously not that easy to deal with.

"Maybe we should go talk to Albert," Harry said, wanting to make up for the mistake he had made.
