"Hermione, will that really work?"
When Harry and Hermione came out of the infirmary, they were still talking about what had just happened.
If many people knew that someone would go to the observatory to send Xiaolong away on Saturday night, I'm afraid many people would run over to watch, and they would have to change the original agreed time.
"Harry, we have to take this risk. Don't forget, we have the invisibility cloak, which Malfoy and the others don't know about." Hermione reminded him in a low voice after making sure that there was no one around. "We can also tell Filch about this. I don't think others would dare to come here at this time unless they want to be caught by Filch and put in detention."
"You're right, it's too late to change the plan." Harry took a deep breath and nodded in agreement.
This time, maybe it's their only chance to get rid of Norbert.
I have an invisibility cloak, but others don't know it.
This is their biggest advantage.
Soon, word spread around the school that Filch would patrol the observatory on Saturday nights, and the administrator also said that he would arrest and put in detention all the students who liked to get up and wander around at night.
With Filch's threat, the students who had originally planned to visit the observatory on Saturday night gave up the idea.
If Filch really caught him, he would be in big trouble.
That morning, Harry and Hermione went to the hunting lodge and told Hagrid about it. When they met Hagrid, they found that the gamekeeper looked exhausted. The little dragon was obviously more difficult to deal with than they had imagined.
"You can't come in. Norbert is very difficult to deal with now." After hearing what Harry said, Hagrid's eyes were filled with tears. It was unclear whether he regretted raising a dragon or was sad about the upcoming separation from Norbert.
"Hagrid, Fang looks injured." Hermione looked at the listless hound, trying to divert Hagrid's attention.
"Ya Ya's tail was bitten by Norbert?"
"Hagrid, I have to remind you that Norbert's teeth are poisonous. Ron has been hospitalized because of it." Harry looked at the listless Tooth uneasily. He thought Hagrid's hound might have been poisoned.
"Don't worry, Fang will be fine." Hagrid said nonchalantly.
Harry and Hermione looked at each other. They both felt that Hagrid had become a little abnormal because of the dragon.
The two were right to worry.
When they came to visit Hagrid again, they found that the hound Fang was gone.
"Hagrid, where's Fang?"
Harry walked around outside the hunting lodge, but couldn't find Fang, so he frowned and shouted into the house.
"Ya Ya is poisoned, I asked Professor Kettlebur to help take care of it for a few days." Hagrid explained casually. If it was before, Hagrid would never be like this, but now all his thoughts are on the dragon, and he doesn't even care about the hound he has raised for several years.
"Norbert is biting your foot." Hermione worriedly reminded Hagrid that the dragon was poisonous and being bitten was too dangerous.
"It's okay, Norbert just bit my boots, it was just playing." Hagrid reached out to touch the dragon's head, but it bit his leather glove. He said to Harry and Hermione outside the house nonchalantly, "The book says that ridgeback dragons are extremely aggressive."
…
"Dragons are definitely one of the most dangerous creatures. They are almost impossible to tame!" Hermione whispered to Harry, "I really can't understand how Hagrid raised it like a furry little rabbit."
"I don't know either." Harry smiled bitterly.
Ever since he saw Ron's miserable condition, he stayed as far away from Norbert as possible.
He didn't want to get bit.
Norbert is very active now, and like a puppy, he seems to want to bite everything. However, the worst thing is that the teeth of the Norwegian Ridgeback are poisonous, and if you are bitten, the consequences will not be good.
"Hagrid, maybe we could use a Stunning Spell on it to keep it in check," Hermione suggested. She really couldn't bear to see Hagrid being tormented by the dragon like this.
"That's a good idea." Harry agreed with Hermione. "By the way, what is a Stunning Spell?"
"I found it in the library," Hermione explained. "If you are hit by a spell, you will fall into a coma. I read in a book that dragon trainers will use a stunning spell to calm the dragon."
"You can't do that, it's just a child." Hagrid shouted to stop Hermione's cruel behavior.
"I dare say Hagrid will get himself into trouble if he continues like this." Harry didn't want to care about these trivial matters. Now he just looked forward to Saturday coming soon.
Shortly after Harry and Hermione left, Albert returned with Fang.
The hound's tail was bandaged, but the dog still looked listless and its tail no longer wagged.
"Professor Kettlebur may have guessed it." Albert sat on a chair outside the hunting lodge and said to Hagrid in the house, "You know, the news of your raising a dragon has spread throughout the school."
"Harry and Hermione just came over. They said they would send Norbert away on Saturday." Hagrid's voice was choked with sobs, and he seemed very sad.
"Oh, so the letter is real. Then you should thank them." Albert took out dog food from his pocket and fed it to Fang, scratching its ears and said to Hagrid in the room.
"They're taking a huge risk. If Filch catches them, they'll definitely get detention."
Hagrid was silent.
In fact, his mind was full of thoughts about the dragon, and he could not hear anything else. It might also be that the banging sounds coming from the room covered up Albert's voice.
Albert didn't care about Hagrid's thoughts. As long as he had tasks to do and experience to gain, that was enough.
After checking on Yaya's condition, Albert went straight back to the castle. As soon as he passed through the entrance hall, he was entangled by Fred and George.
"Did Hagrid really raise a dragon?" Fred pulled Albert to a deserted place and asked in a low voice.
"Ron's wound was indeed caused by a dragon bite." George said.
"Proof?"
"This letter."
George pulled a piece of parchment from his pocket and waved it in front of Albert.
"This is the letter Malfoy took from Ron," Fred added.
"The handwriting on it is indeed Charlie's, so we think that thing is true too," George continued.
"Stop making trouble."
"We can help," Fred and George said in unison.
"You can't help!" Albert said helplessly, "I guess even the professors know about it. If they come out on patrol, your Disillusionment Spell won't be able to hide it from them at all."
"Actually, we want to see what the little dragon looks like." Fred said unwillingly.
"I have the photos. I'll show them to you after this happens." Albert directly refused to let the twins go to Hagrid to cause trouble.
If they ruin the rest of the plot, will he still be able to maintain his identity as a prophet
"So how are they going to..."
"Potter seems to have a very good invisibility cloak." Albert noticed someone coming over and changed the subject: "Going to the library? I think you should have finished your homework."
"Oh, okay!"
Fred and George felt very disappointed when they saw Albert who was impenetrable to water.
They could go to Hagrid's place to see the dragon, but doing so might get Hagrid into big trouble.
So, the best thing now is to shut up and pretend that you know nothing.
