Chapter 484: The heroes of Slytherin

"Albert, Albert, look over there, tell me if I am seeing things."

The next morning, when Albert and his friends passed by the huge hourglass recording the scores of the House Cup, Lee Jordan glanced at the hourglass inadvertently, and suddenly reached out to grab Albert, pointed at the huge hourglass of Gryffindor and said, "Why did our house suddenly fall to the last place?"

"You read that right, we really are the last one." George opened his mouth in surprise. They were finally about to defeat Slytherin House and win the House Cup again.

"What do you think? Maybe the huge hourglass showing the score is broken." Fred raised his hand and tapped the hourglass twice.

"About 150 points less." Albert raised his hand to stop Fred from committing suicide, and calmly stated his speculation: "Probably because someone was caught by Filch while wandering around the castle last night, which led to a large number of points being deducted from our school."

"Do you know something? I remember you went out on a date last night. Could it be that you were caught by Filch?" Fred, George and Lee Jordan looked at Albert with suspicion. They didn't believe that Albert would be caught by Filch, but this guy must know the reason why Gryffindor was deducted so many points.

"Well, there were quite a few students wandering around the castle last night." Albert spread his hands helplessly and said, "Okay, let's go and have breakfast."

"Aren't you angry at all?" Fred muttered, "We are finally going to beat Slytherin again and win the House Cup this year."

"I'm not angry." Albert said indifferently, "Winning or not, it doesn't make any difference to me."

It's been a hopeless morning for the Gryffindors!

In just one night, all hopes of Gryffindor winning the House Cup were destroyed.

All the Gryffindor students were furious when they found out that their house had been deducted 150 points for no apparent reason.

How could their school suddenly have 150 points less than yesterday

What exactly happened last night.

Everyone was looking for the reason, until Percy Weasley took the trouble to ask Professor McGonagall, and finally found out why their school lost 150 points in one night.

Are you saying that Harry and two other students wandered around the castle at night, causing the house to lose so many points

"Why didn't you help Harry last night?" The three roommates were all complaining about Albert. Most of the students hoped that their college could win the glory of the college cup.

"They were caught by Filch because they were careless." Albert said helplessly, "Sometimes, it's really not a question of whether to help or not."

The news soon spread throughout Hogwarts Castle.

Gryffindor's Quidditch hero, the famous Harry Potter, actually caused Gryffindor House to lose so many points.

It only took one breakfast for Harry, Hermione and Neville to become the most unpopular people in Gryffindor.

A Slytherin student who learned about this came to Harry's side, patted the savior on the shoulder and said, "Thank you, Potter, you helped us a lot!"

"You contributed a lot to our winning the College Cup!"

More and more Slytherin students came over to greet Harry Potter. They surrounded Potter at the table, clapping, whistling, cheering, which made him very annoyed. Finally, with the help of Professor McGonagall, Harry struggled out of the crowd and left in embarrassment.

As for everyone else, they all looked on coldly at Harry Potter and no one gave him a good look.

"Do you care about the score?" Albert asked his three roommates after eating a sausage.

"I just feel very unhappy that it was so hard to defeat Slytherin and win the House Cup," Lee Jordan muttered. "It was ruined just like that."

"Why are you unwilling? You haven't added many points for Gryffindor yourself." Albert spread jam on the bread slices calmly and said faintly: "If you really care, you would have tried your best to help the house get points. What's more, I am not depressed, so why are you depressed?"

Lee Jordan was choked and speechless.

"What are you talking about?"

After hearing this, several hot-tempered senior students turned around and glared at the person who spoke, but when they saw Albert, they were all stunned.

"Do you think I'm not qualified?" Albert asked without looking up.

Although those people were very dissatisfied, they still shut up.

If it were anyone else who said this, they would probably have drawn angry glares from the other Gryffindor students, but the person who said this was Albert.

Even though his words directly touched the most vulnerable parts of many students' hearts, they had to admit that Albert was qualified to say these words.

Albert always adds a lot of points to Gryffindor every year.

You know, it's already very good that most Gryffindor students don't deduct points from their own house, let alone take the initiative to add points to the house.

The reason why the Gryffindor students were so dissatisfied was that the house cup that was about to be in their hands was lost. Everyone directed all their dissatisfaction onto the three unlucky guys. Potter was under the greatest pressure, but there was nothing they could do about it, because he was the most famous.

In the evening, Albert went to find Harry, intending to ask him to go to him to get the invisibility cloak back, but he saw Potter actually went to find Wood and said he wanted to quit the Quidditch team.

As a result, of course, he was severely punished by Wood.

Although Wood was also very angry, his mind was not confused. If they lost Harry, Gryffindor might even lose the Quidditch trophy.

"Wood, do you mind lending me Potter for a few minutes?" Albert raised his hand and greeted Wood.

"Please!" said Wood unhappily.

In full view of everyone, Albert took Harry to a deserted place.

"Okay, don't be sad, it's just a few points deducted." Albert said, "You forgot to take the invisibility cloak with you last night, remember to bring it back from me later!"

"Aren't you angry?" Potter asked in surprise.

At present, Ron is probably the only one in the entire Hogwarts Castle who would say this to him.

"Angry? No, I don't take the so-called college cup as seriously as others do. If it exists, it exists. If it doesn't exist, it doesn't exist either." Albert smiled and patted Potter on the shoulder to comfort him, "If you can't stand their gossip, then keep a low profile and spend more time and energy on reviewing your lessons. Most students won't remember this for long and will forget it in a week or two. At the latest, they will completely forget about it by the next semester."

After being comforted by Albert, Harry felt much better, but his situation remained unchanged.

There is no way, the higher you climb, the harder you fall.

Sometimes that's the downside of being too famous.

Wherever Porter went, people would point at him and say insulting words to his face.

Maybe all people are like this!

This was the answer Albert finally arrived at.

As Harry's accomplices, Hermione and Neville also had a hard time. Because they were not as famous as Harry, not many students in the school knew them. However, they could not avoid being pointed at, ridiculed and insulted behind their backs.

At first, Hermione tried desperately to make up for the lost points from other professors, but every time she spoke actively or got extra points, she was always met with sarcasm and malicious slander from behind.

Therefore, Hermione no longer showed up in class, but always kept her head down, studying silently.

If we were to ask who among the three had the hardest time, it would undoubtedly be Neville.

At least, Harry and Hermione still have friends to turn to for warmth.

Ever since Gryffindor House was deducted a large number of points, Neville has become a real loner. Even his roommates in the dormitory are unwilling to talk to him.

He could only endure it all silently, and he didn't know how many times he shed tears secretly in the dead of night.
