Chapter 494: Prophecy about the Chamber of Secrets

“You really mail-ordered a toilet seat?”

Lee Jordan, who was eating grilled sausages, turned his head to look at the package dropped by the owl, then looked up at Fred and George in disbelief. He originally thought that the two were just joking, but he didn't expect that they actually mail-ordered a toilet seat for Harry as a gift for visiting him in the hospital.

"Of course it's true. When have you ever seen us tell a lie?"

Fred and George looked at each other and then looked towards the Slytherin table with ill intent.

"You guys don't want to do it again!"

Lee Jordan followed the Weasley twins' gaze and saw that Malfoy was still a little dazed because of what happened yesterday.

"No, no, we just want to make a deeper impression on him." The two of them smiled maliciously and said to Albert, "Give me a few more bowel cleansing pills. The ones you gave me last time have all been used up."

"No more. The last one I gave you was the last one." Albert closed the letter, his mouth twitched a few times, and he sighed helplessly, reminding: "If you do that kind of thing too much, it's easy for someone to catch you."

"Well, that guy's lucky," George muttered.

"We're going to visit Harry later. Do you want to come with us?" Fred pointed at the toilet seat and asked, "And make up for the gift for the doctor's visit."

"Well, let's go together. It's just on our way." Albert did not refuse.

After breakfast, the four of them went to the school hospital together. Madam Pomfrey only gave them five minutes to visit the patient.

Harry was sleeping soundly on the hospital bed, showing no signs of waking up.

There was a mountain of candies piled up on the table next to the bed. They were probably gifts from Harry's friends and admirers.

"Heroes and saviors are so cheap." Albert couldn't help but sighed: "It's not easy for Potter either."

After saying that, he waved his magic wand lightly, and a bunch of yellow chrysanthemums appeared out of thin air, replacing the carnations in the vase.

"Why do you say that?" George asked puzzled.

Albert smiled but said nothing.

"You always like to say some incomprehensible things." Fred began to unpack the toilet seat and prepared to put it next to the pile of gifts.

"If one day, everyone says that Potter is a liar, and all the wizards in the British wizarding world think that Potter is a liar, would you think he is a liar or a savior?" Albert suddenly asked.

All three of them were a little confused and didn't know how to answer this question.

"Probably not a liar." George said uncertainly.

"Everyone will think he is a liar, not a savior." Albert said self-deprecatingly. He actually hates these things.

Just then, Madam Pomfrey walked in.

"You've been here for nearly ten minutes. Get out now."

When Madam Pomfrey was about to send them away, her eyes fell on the toilet seat in Fred's hand, and she frowned slightly and said, "Mr. Weasley, are you going to give me a toilet seat?"

"It's chocolate, it just looks like a toilet seat."

Fred lied, put the toilet seat on the table, and hurried out of the school hospital.

"Chocolate? I can't tell it's made of chocolate." Madam Pomfrey picked up the toilet seat and looked at the people who were fleeing and said, "I really don't understand what students are thinking about nowadays."

She would not allow such a thing to appear in the school hospital. When she was about to confiscate it, Dumbledore just walked in and happened to see Madam Pomfrey holding a toilet seat.

"They were no doubt just trying to have some fun with Harry."

"It's not very hygienic to leave this thing here." Madam Pomfrey took the toilet seat and left.

In the corridor outside the hospital wing, Lee Jordan was asking Fred if the toilet seat was made of chocolate.

"How is that possible!" Fred said angrily.

"I dare say Madam Pomfrey will confiscate it." Albert said speechlessly: "In fact, you should ask someone to specially order a toilet seat chocolate."

The three of them looked at Albert with strange eyes.

"Did I say something wrong?" Albert asked.

"No, no, you're right." Fred put his arm around Albert's shoulders and said, "Maybe, we can use chocolate to make some disgusting-looking gifts. Percy's birthday is in August, and we have enough time to prepare and give him an unexpected surprise."

"I suggest you go find someone to order one. There will always be wizards who are good at making magical food." Albert thought for a moment and said, "I think one or two Galleons will definitely be enough. If the other party is not willing, you can order a few more and save them for our dear professor."

"We understand!" the twins said in unison.

After separating from the three people, Albert went to the divination classroom alone. Professor Trelawney wrote a letter and invited Albert to have tea with her, probably about the prophecy!

In fact, Albert was right in his guess. Professor Trelawney came to him because of the prophecy.

The first thing Professor Trelawney said when she saw him was: "Can you really predict the future?"

"Why do you ask that?"

"In fact, some wizards with sharp brains, even if they can't really make predictions, can still infer some things through some clues." Professor Trelawney said.

"Do you think I can predict?"

"I don't know. I can't see the result of your prediction from your crystal ball. In this case, the results of so-called divination predictions are usually deceptive, but my intuition tells me that maybe you really have the ability to predict." Professor Trelawney pointed to the cushion opposite and said, "Sit down, we can talk. There are actually very few wizards who can really predict."

Albert sat down opposite Professor Trelawney, picked up the tea she had brewed, took a sip, and waited quietly for her to continue.

"I heard that Professor Quirrell died. Just as you predicted, he left us forever. Harry Potter was by his side at the time."

"Well, that seems to be the case."

"In the beginning, the prophecy you made about the unicorn's blood also came true, right?"

"Well, it's done." Albert's tone was still calm.

"How enviable." Professor Trelawney said softly, "I know many people in the school think I'm a liar. Do you think I can predict the future?"

"Cassandra Trelawney is undoubtedly a true master of prophecy," said Albert.

"Unfortunately, I did not inherit much of my great-great-grandmother's talent, and there are no real prophets in the Trelawney family anymore." Professor Trelawney sighed softly, "Most wizards are actually not willing to believe in so-called prophecies unless they see the results of the prophecy in the crystal ball with their own eyes."

"Because before you actually predict the disaster, no one will be willing to believe your lies." Professor Trelawney continued, "Moreover, even if you can predict people's disasters, you can't stop them. You can only watch the disaster happen, which is not a good thing for a prophet.

"You can predict, too, right!" Albert said.

"Probably... maybe. Actually, I can't be sure. I just have a vague feeling." Professor Trelawney said self-deprecatingly, "I once made a prophecy to Dumbledore. Although I don't remember the content of the prophecy, not long after that, probably after the fall of the You-Know-Who, I came to Hogwarts to be the Divination Professor. At that time, the school didn't have the so-called Divination class."

"It seems that the prophecy has come true." Albert said softly.

"Yes, if I hadn't proved my ability to Dumbledore, how could he let me teach at Hogwarts?" Professor Trelawney murmured, "But many people just deliberately don't understand."

"Well, I admit that Dumbledore didn't like Divination at first." Professor Trelawney said to herself, "At that time, he told me that Hogwarts was going to offer a Divination class and wanted to invite me to be the professor, but before that, Dumbledore wanted me to make a prediction for him."

"I think that's why the headmaster came to me. He probably heard about my family and thought that I also have the ability to predict the future, so he came to me." Professor Trelawney said.

"Is this prophecy related to the mysterious man?" Albert suddenly asked.

"I don't know." Professor Trelawney shook her head. "If you want to know the content, I'm afraid you can only go to Dumbledore. Oh, yes, Snape may also know. He broke into the room and almost interrupted my prophecy."

"It seems that this should be the prophecy of the savior."

"That's what I thought at the time," she said.

In fact, Albert never doubted Professor Trelawney's intelligence. If she could be a liar and fool other people, no one would be a fool.

A truly skilled Muggle fortune teller would be very strong in psychological suggestion, logical analysis and temporary adaptability, but he would seem a little inferior when it comes to real prophetic magic.

"I can't control my prophetic ability like you, nor can I use it as I wish, but I believe I have that ability." Professor Trelawney looked at Albert seriously, "Can you tell me how you control your prophetic ability?"

This is exactly why Professor Trelawney looked for Albert. No one wants to be a third-rate prophet.

"I'm afraid I can't give you very good advice, because I learned crystal ball divination from a book." Albert naturally would not tell Professor Trelawney that he actually cheated to master the ability of prediction.

"It was just like the numbers in the book," Albert simply described how he felt when he made the prediction.

"Focus on the crystal ball and keep thinking about what you want to know in your head. If you succeed, you will see some fragments. The rest is to connect those fragments together and unravel the meaning of the prophecy."

Professor Trelawney was silent for a moment, then said, "Can you make a prediction now?"

"Oh, of course!"

Albert stared at the crystal ball placed on the table by Professor Trelawney, stared at the white mist above, and began to predict what would happen next semester.

Then, he saw a line of words:

The secret room was opened.

Those who are enemies of the heir should be vigilant.

"What does this mean?"

Professor Trelawney also apparently saw the scene emerging in the crystal ball.

Next there is an image of a copper faucet with a snake symbol engraved on it.

"It's definitely not a good thing!" Albert thought for a moment and said, "This matter should be related to Slytherin College."

"By the way, according to a record in the history of Hogwarts, Slytherin left a secret chamber in Hogwarts, and there seems to be something terrible in it."

Of course Albert knew what those words meant, but he still pretended that he had guessed them himself.

"…only the Heir of Slytherin can open the Chamber of Secrets and release the horrors within, allowing it to cleanse the school of all those unworthy of studying magic."

"It looks like next semester won't be peaceful either!" Professor Trelawney murmured, "But I don't think anyone would be willing to believe this before it happens!"

Albert looked at Professor Trelawney, and he felt as if he understood something.

"Since they think I'm a liar, then I am a liar. What's more, before I can truly control my prophetic ability like you, I am still just a liar." Professor Trelawney said self-deprecatingly.

In fact, Albert was also surprised. He didn't expect that he could make such a prediction. And Professor Trelawney obviously also saw the contents of the crystal ball. Does it mean that his predictive ability has become stronger than before

I should be more careful next semester.

Although Albert thought he would not be so unlucky as to be targeted, he should still make some preparations.

Well, to put it bluntly, it’s just fear of death.
