Chapter 506: Hidden place

Views:

The German Ministry of Magic is located underground in the capital Berlin. Wizards in many countries like to hide their Ministries of Magic underground, especially under famous buildings. This can save them a lot of trouble. Otherwise, if one day a Muggle drives an excavator and digs a subway tunnel underground, and accidentally digs up the Ministry of Magic hidden underground by the wizards, it would be really embarrassing.

At this moment, Sera and Albert were on their way to the German Ministry of Magic.

“Is it really okay to place the entrance in a place like this?”

Albert was quite surprised to find that the entrance to the German Ministry of Magic was in a crowded place like Bodhi Square.

"Certainly not in such a conspicuous place."

Sera pointed to an unremarkable shop on the corner and said, "The entrance is right there."

"It feels a bit like the Leaky Cauldron," Albert commented, looking at the shop.

I encountered a similar situation when I first arrived in Germany, so I didn’t feel too surprised.

When the two entered, they saw a middle-aged man looking up from behind the counter. He seemed to be a few seconds slower than the machine before he greeted Sera.

"What brings you to Germany, old fellow?"

"I was just passing by, and a friend asked me to bring some local specialties."

Sera walked to the counter and handed a badge to the man. "Please send the things to France. An old friend of mine needs them."

“Don’t you want to follow the procedure?”

"There are a lot of things this time, and it's very troublesome to go through the process."

"All right!"

The middle-aged man did not refuse. Instead, he was in a good mood as another large sum of Galleons came into his account.

Albert probably understood. It turned out that they got off the train in Germany not to meet old friends, but to buy things. Who wanted the things

It is most likely Nicolas Flamel, and the purpose is self-evident, to create the elixir of life.

Nicolas Flamel naturally couldn't come forward himself, but he knew a lot of old friends. The things were classified and assigned to different people to help buy them, and finally gathered together at Nicolas Flamel. No one knew what the raw materials of the elixir were, even if they knew it would be of no use.

However, Albert still had to sigh at the network of contacts of Sera and his gang.

After they chatted for a while, Sera took Albert to the backyard, where there was an artistic double-headed eagle statue made of steel and gears.

The two men walked up to the statue, and the double-headed eagle seemed to come alive. It raised its head and looked at the two men amid the sound of gears gnashing, as if confirming the identity of the visitors.

After a few seconds, the surroundings began to descend like an elevator.

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic."

Behind the counter at the entrance, a witch greeted them politely.

The two used the VIP channel.

Sera stepped forward and was about to give her name and explain her purpose when footsteps were heard not far away. A young wizard hurried over and stopped in front of the two of them, panting. He looked at Sera and Albert and asked tentatively, "Mr. Harrysis?"

"Yes, I am!"

"Mr. Frank told me about you, please follow me!" The young wizard greeted the witch behind the counter and prepared to take the two of them to the waiting room of the International Floo Network.

"Hans, this is against the rules." The witch behind the counter frowned and reminded.

"Anna, you will find that they are already on the visiting list." Hans kindly reminded: "Okay, both of you, come this way, don't be late, otherwise you can only delay for two hours."

Young Hans led the two of them out of the door on the right side of the Ministry's hall and into a circular room with many fireplaces. The names of various countries were marked on the fireplaces, and a timetable stood next to them. An employee was cleaning the ash with something like a vacuum cleaner.

"Mr. Frank, I've brought the person here."

Hans said to the elderly bald wizard sitting at the central counter in the circular office.

"Oh, Sierra, my old friend, long time no see."

"It's been a while, Frank." Sierra stepped forward and gave him a simple hug. "I thought you had retired."

"You're right. I'm almost at the age to retire. Before that, I have to take care of the things that come after me." Frank looked at Albert curiously and asked, "Is he your grandson?"

"No. This is Albert Anderson." Sera winked at his old friend and reminded him, "He is going to France to participate in the International Wizard Chess Tournament. I happened to be going to France as well, so I gave him a ride."

"Welcome to Germany, Mr. Anderson." Frank knew Serra's character. This Mr. Anderson obviously had something special, otherwise he wouldn't be so close to Serra.

“It’s been an interesting trip,” Albert said.

He found that both Mr. Frank and Mr. Hans spoke fluent English. They were indeed wizards working in the international Floo Network, and they probably needed to be proficient in multiple languages.

"The Floo network to France has been arranged, please follow me." Hans said.

In fact, there are not many wizards who will use the international Floo network. After all, there are not many wizards, and most of them stay in their own country instead of running around.

As for those who would ask others for help in smuggling, there are only a very small number of people who are not presentable. Moreover, the price of smuggling is expensive, and no one is willing to spend this money.

As green flames rose in the fireplace, Sera made a gesture to Albert, indicating that he should go first.

Albert stepped into the green flames, shouted "Nikolaevsky Village", took a last look at the waiting room with ash on the floor, and was then swept into the fireplace by the green flames.

Traveling using the International Floo Network was not comfortable; in fact, most teleportation magical travel was not comfortable.

The high-speed rotation made Albert dizzy, and the time seemed longer than he had imagined. Countless fireplace openings flashed before his eyes. By the time the rotation slowed down, he had already stopped steadily in the stone fireplace.

Albert suppressed his discomfort, grabbed the suitcase and walked forward.

Sera soon appeared behind him, smiling and saying, "Welcome to Nicola Village."

Nicholas Village is a very old village, a bit like Hogsmeade.

The ground was paved with marble, and in front of them was a square with statues of the young Flamel and his wife. They were holding an object in their hands, which should be the legendary Philosopher's Stone. Spring water gushed out from the Philosopher's Stone.

Several young wizards looked at the two unfamiliar faces curiously and discussed their identities in whispers.

“Follow me!”

Sierra motioned for Albert to follow him.

"I'm not used to this way of traveling," Albert muttered.

The two came to a house. Sera raised her hand and knocked on the door gently. A house elf opened the door and looked at the two uninvited guests with a confused expression on his face.

Sera handed the house-elf a textured silver card from her coat pocket with an address engraved on it.

"You two, this way please!"

The house elf took the card, stepped back and invited the two into the house.

After the door behind them closed, it raised the silver card and whispered a spell. The decorative patterns on both sides of the corridor on the walls seemed to come alive and spread into the void, connecting with the silver card in the hand of the house-elf, and interweaving to form an exquisite door directly in front of them.

The house-elf pushed open the door and gestured for the two to come in.
