Chapter 529: The missing savior

Lee Jordan didn't know much about Professor Gilderoy Lockhart. He learned from a book signing event at Flourish and Blotts that Gilderoy Lockhart would be the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.

"Do you think Lockhart is as great as described in the books?"

Lee Jordan opened the box and shared the Every Flavour Beans with Albert. "To be honest, I doubt whether Lockhart is a qualified professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"I have never met Gilderoy Lockhart in person, nor do I know him, so it is difficult for me to make any comments."

"You should have gone shopping with us in Diagon Alley." Lee Jordan said with regret, "Mr. Weasley and Malfoy had a fight in the bookstore that day."

"Fighting, what's the reason?"

"I don't know." Lee Jordan shook his head. "The relationship between them has always been bad. It's probably because of some reasons. I heard from my dad that Mr. Weasley has confiscated several ancient wizard families."

"Oh." Albert responded casually.

Having said that, this matter has something to do with him. Mr. Weasley's power was delegated to him by Bud and his group.

"In fact, we will know whether Lockhart is a qualified Defense Against the Dark Arts professor after we take his class." Albert smiled and changed the subject. "However, his books are indeed well written. If you like reading, it is not a loss to buy those books."

As the two were talking, time passed little by little. The people outside the carriage changed one after another. I really didn't know where so many curious babies came from.

Lee Jordan was happy to be Albert's shield. He even treated the people outside to Bibi Every Flavour Beans, boasted with a smile that he could sell Albert's photos if they wanted, and did not forget to advertise the Wizard Card Club.

Sure enough, it successfully aroused the curiosity and attention of many girls.

However, what puzzled the two was that Fred and George never showed up.

"They're going to be late." Albert glanced at his pocket watch. "It's already 10:50."

"What should I do if I fail to get on the train on time?" Lee Jordan kept staring at the platform outside the window, looking for the Weasley family.

"It shouldn't be a big problem if you don't get on the train. You can probably go directly to Hogsmeade and then to Hogwarts, but it will be more troublesome." Albert thought for a while and said, "You don't think that you don't have to go to school if you don't get on the train!"

Judging from the expression on Lee Jordan's face, that might really be what he was thinking.

"Don't be silly. Taking the train to school is just a rule of the Ministry of Magic. If you really encounter special circumstances, there are naturally other ways to deal with them." Albert showed an expression that said he really lost to you.

“Here they come.”

Lee Jordan pointed at the figures hurrying by outside the window and said to Albert, "It's really terrible. I don't understand why they like to arrive at the station on time."

"Don't worry, there's still time. This is for you. I don't really like this flavor."

Albert secretly put a red Beebe Every Flavour Bean into Lee Jordan's hand.

"Thanks."

Lee Jordan muttered something, and when he ate it, a pungent taste of chili spread in his mouth, almost making him vomit.

"Red pepper flavor, you really have bad intentions." Lee Jordan threw the multi-flavored bean out of the car window.

"Don't be angry, I'll treat you to this."

Albert took out a bottle of Coca-Cola from his suitcase and handed it to Lee Jordan, then asked with a smile, "Have you ever had a Muggle drink?"

"Coca-Cola?" Lee Jordan looked at Albert suspiciously, opened the bottle and took a sip, blinking his lips and commenting, "It tastes a bit strange. I don't know why Muggles like this kind of thing."

"You're just not used to it. If you drink a few more sips, you'll like it." Albert explained with a smile: "Coke has its charm to be popular all over the world and liked by more than a billion people."

As they were talking, there was another knock on the carriage door, and Fred and George came in, followed by their sister Ginny.

"We have to take Ginny to find Ron first." Fred stuffed their luggage into the carriage and said to Albert and Lee Jordan.

At this moment, the train suddenly shook and started moving forward.

"You almost missed the train." Lee Jordan took another sip of Coke. It was undeniable that after getting used to it, it actually felt pretty good.

"See you later." After saying that, George closed the door of the compartment.

When Fred and George came back, their brows furrowed slightly.

"What's wrong?"

"We didn't find Harry and Ron," said Fred.

"What about your sister?" Albert asked.

"With Hermione Granger," said George.

"This year's Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is Lockhart," Lee Jordan said suddenly. "It seems that quite a few people admire him. I wonder what kind of person he is."

Fred and George had just sat down to talk about Lockhart when they saw Hermione and Percy appear outside the carriage.

"What's wrong?" They all noticed that Percy's expression was particularly gloomy.

"Harry and Ron are missing!" Hermione said, "I thought they were in another carriage, but after looking around, I couldn't find them."

"Maybe he didn't have time to get on the train!" Albert said indifferently.

"Wow!"

Fred and George both looked at Albert.

"What's wrong?" Percy asked, taken aback by the fuss they were making.

"I think Albert is probably right," said Fred.

"Didn't get on the train?" Percy frowned.

"Don't worry." Albert comforted him casually, "If Mr. Weasley turns around and finds that the two of them have missed the train, he will send them directly to Hogsmeade, and then go to school from there. It is much faster than taking the train for us."

"How could they miss the train?" Hermione couldn't understand.

"Maybe something unexpected happened." Albert said without hesitation.

"What accident?" Hermione asked warily, remembering Albert's warning.

"How should I know?"

After the two left, Albert suddenly thought of something, looked at the three people and asked, "What would you do if you found yourself unable to catch the train?"

"How?"

The three of them were stunned for a moment and thought about it for a while.

"No need to do anything," Lee Jordan said first. "After all, parents send their children to school just in case this happens."

"What if you find that your family is not around?" Albert continued, "Or, your family is just ordinary people?"

"Get help!" Fred said without hesitation.

"Yes, find the guard on the platform." George added.

At this time, the three of them looked at Albert.

"Contact the station guard. If that doesn't work, send an owl to Professor McGonagall. The school will definitely send someone to pick us up." Albert noticed the looks of the three people. "What do you think they will do?"

"Ron's a moron!"

Fred and George said in unison: "But it's probably going to be what Lee Jordan said."

Albert thought about it carefully and felt that the ideas in their heads were very strange. It seemed that there was nothing wrong with being suspected that they were deliberately seeking excitement and wanting to attract attention, so they drove to school.

After all, who in their right mind would do that

It turns out that it wasn't that other people had problems with their thinking and couldn't understand why Harry Potter and Ron Weasley drove to school, but that they had problems with their thinking, or were they ready to commit suicide

If Albert was just an ordinary wizard, he would probably have the same idea as others!

"What if Harry and Ron missed the train on purpose?" Lee Jordan proposed a hypothesis.

"You mean..." Fred and George immediately came to their senses, looked at each other, and said in unison, "They don't want to go to school in a Ford car?"
