"Harry, why didn't you go to Defense Against the Dark Arts class this afternoon?"
When Harry hurried to the hall and found his good friend dining, Hermione put down her knife and fork, looked up and gave him a stern look.
"Wait..." Harry took a deep breath, and after catching his breath, he lowered his voice and said, "Don't talk about this for now. I have something more important to tell you."
"What's up?"
Ron's question was stopped by Hermione's eyes.
"Come with me."
Harry motioned to Hermione and Ron to go with him to find a place where there was no one, as some things were not suitable to be said here.
Ron and Hermione both noticed Harry's suggestive look, and obviously knew what Harry had probably discovered, so they stopped talking nonsense, dropped their half-eaten dinner, and left the hall with Harry.
"Harry, tomorrow morning..."
When Wood saw Harry, he came over and was about to tell him about the training in the morning, but was interrupted by Harry.
"Wood, we'll talk later!"
When Harry heard Wood calling him, he said something perfunctorily and hurriedly left the hall with Hermione and Ron.
"What's wrong with him?"
Wood scratched his head, looked at Harry's hurried back, turned his head and asked Fred who was stuffing grilled sausages into his mouth.
"Maybe it's urgent. What do you want to see him for?" Fred asked casually after swallowing the food in his mouth.
"Come and inform him that there will be morning exercises tomorrow morning." Wood was also saying this to Fred and George.
"Why does Quidditch practice have to be in the morning?"
Fred and George couldn't help but frown. If they trained in the morning, they would have to get up from their comfortable beds early in the morning, which would be a torture.
Albert didn't care about the twins' complaints. After all, he wasn't the one who needed to do morning exercises.
There is no doubt that my arrangement has worked.
He withdrew his gaze from the three people's receding backs and was in a good mood.
Harry Potter has apparently successfully met Tom Riddle, and learned from him the "truth" about the opening of the Chamber of Secrets fifty years ago.
His plan was unexpectedly successful, and Albert couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. The next step was...
His eyes accidentally glanced at Ginny Weasley, who looked a little pale not far away. He believed that Tom's diary would soon be back in her hands.
If things go well, I believe it won't be long before Tom and the basilisk will be on the road together.
"Remember to talk to Harry about this for me later." Wood ignored Fred and George's resentful looks, waved his hand and turned away.
"Or, I'll go talk to Harry!" Ginny stood up hurriedly, not caring about the food on the plate. She made an excuse for herself and left in a hurry.
Almost no one noticed the strangeness on Ginny Weasley's face, except Albert, who had been secretly paying attention to her from the beginning.
At this moment, Harry, Ron and Hermione had passed through the hall and walked to a remote flower bed outside the courtyard. Seeing that there was no one around, Harry told his two companions the information he had obtained from Riddle's diary.
Hermione and Ron both looked surprised after listening to Harry's account of what he saw and heard in Riddle's memory.
Ron was surprised that such a secret was hidden in Riddle's diary.
"Riddle may have arrested the wrong person." Hermione restrained her expression, "Albert told me that the student who was expelled that year was just a scapegoat. I dare say he must have found out that Hagrid was the student who was caught and expelled fifty years ago, so he was unwilling to tell me the story."
"You mean..." Harry opened his eyes in surprise, "Albert knew about this a long time ago?"
"Yes, he knew it a long time ago." Hermione admired Albert's ability.
"Why does he think Hagrid is innocent?" Ron said quickly, noticing the looks Harry and Hermione were giving him. "I mean he must have found some clue."
"He didn't say that. He just said Hagrid was framed." Hermione thought for a moment and continued, "But I can probably guess why he said Hagrid was framed."
"Why?"
Ron and Harry both turned to look at Hermione. If Hagrid was just framed, it would make Harry feel much better. Harry absolutely did not believe that Hagrid was the culprit of the attack.
"If Hagrid hadn't been falsely accused, do you think Dumbledore would have allowed him to stay at the school?"
Although she was reluctant to admit it, Hermione actually didn't think Hagrid could find the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets, and according to Albert, it might require the use of Parseltongue to open the Chamber of Secrets. Hagrid was obviously not a Parseltongue, and more importantly, Hagrid didn't look like the heir of Slytherin at all.
If she wanted to find reasons, Hermione could find a lot of them, and it was not difficult for her to understand why Albert insisted that Hagrid was slandered.
However, it was not appropriate to use these to convince Harry, so she borrowed Albert's original words.
With Professor Dumbledore's wisdom, if Hagrid was really the culprit, would he continue to keep such a dangerous person in school
Obviously not.
If it was really Hagrid who opened the Chamber of Secrets, he would have been thrown into Azkaban prison long ago!
I have to say, there are many benefits to communicating with Albert occasionally.
Hermione's thinking has been further developed and is far more flexible than Harry and Ron.
"But... who is framing Hagrid, Riddle?" Harry said with a frown.
"have no idea."
"In fact, I think Tom Riddle is a good possibility." Ron said in a joking tone, "That guy is very similar to Percy - if sending his entire family to prison can make Percy the Minister of Magic, I dare say he will do it without hesitation."
"Ron, I think you are very prejudiced against Percy." Hermione looked at Ron in surprise, as if she was meeting him for the first time.
"No, he would do that. What's more, the person who informed was a stranger like Hagrid, I have no doubt about it, not to mention, he won a gold medal, didn't he?" Ron continued: "If the prisoner who opened the Chamber of Secrets was me, Percy would definitely inform on me without mercy and send me to Azkaban prison."
Hermione couldn't help but frown at Ron's terrible attitude towards Percy.
"Actually, I can probably understand why Riddle did this." Harry suddenly said, "If they close Hogwarts School, Riddle will have to return to the Muggle orphanage. I can understand why he wants to stay here."
After all, Harry didn't want to go back to the Dursleys either, so he could understand Riddle's thoughts.
"Someone is coming."
Hermione noticed someone seemed to be walking towards this side secretly and quickly warned them.
"Ginny, what are you doing there?" Ron looked at his sister in surprise.
"Um..." Ginny's face turned pale and she stammered, "Wood said... tomorrow morning... training, so I came..."
She ran away quickly.
"What is she talking about?" Harry looked at Ron in confusion.
"Maybe I'm here to tell you that the Quidditch team will have morning practice tomorrow." Hermione couldn't help but raise her hand to support her head, thinking that Harry might be slow in some aspects.
Of course, it may be because I am not old enough yet.
"Should we ask Hagrid about these things?" Harry looked at Ginny's hurried back and sought the opinions of his two good friends.
He thought maybe Hagrid could give them some useful information.
There is no way, the clue is broken again.
"Maybe, we should go talk to Albert. I think he may have more clues." Compared to asking Hagrid, Hermione felt that it would be more reliable to go to Albert.
"Forget it!" Harry thought again and again and said, "Maybe the attacker has retired forever."
After all, Harry never heard the snake language again, and there hadn't been any attacks in a long time. If this matter ended like this, it would not be unacceptable.
Furthermore, Professor Sprout told everyone a while ago that the mandrake is about to mature. Once the mandrake is mature and made into a powerful recovery agent, the unlucky Colin in the ward will be able to survive. By then, everyone will know that there is an ugly basilisk hiding in the school. Harry believes that Dumbledore will definitely try his best to solve the problem of the basilisk, and he doesn't need to worry at all.
