Chapter 657: You have to believe me

Views:

The exam is finally over!

Albert checked the answer sheet carefully and handed in the written test paper for Potions. He walked out of the extremely hot classroom under the envious gaze of other students.

Breathing in the fresh air outside, Albert walked on the sunny field, stretching his body lazily. After waiting for a while under the shade of a tree on the lawn in the courtyard, he saw a figure coming towards him.

"How did you do on the test today?"

Albert looked at the red-haired girl sitting next to him and handed the drink he was drinking to her: "Do you want it?"

"It's quite simple." Isobel stretched lazily, took the Coke handed over by Albert and drank it. "It tastes a bit strange, but it's very refreshing to drink in the hot weather."

"Iced Coke is perfect for summer." Albert pulled out his magic wand and turned the Coke bottle into a group of colorful butterflies. He looked at the group of butterflies flying carefreely into the distance and asked, "By the way, do you have any plans for summer vacation?"

"Want to invite me to go on vacation abroad again?" Isobel thought of what happened on the last vacation and looked at the malicious guy in front of her.

"I guess so!" said Albert.

"Is it?"

"To France. But not for vacation. Mr. Flamel invited me to his house. You know, he is my teacher." Albert asked seriously, "Would you like to go with me?"

"That Nicolas Flamel?" Isobel was a little surprised. She had heard of his name from Albert, but such an invitation was a little sudden for her.

"Can I go too?"

Albert recalled the scene he saw in the crystal ball, nodded to Isobel and said, "Actually, it was Mr. Flamel who asked me to take you with me."

"He knows me? You mentioned it to him." Isobel was surprised that the other party knew her.

"I mentioned to him that Mr. Flamel is also a master of prophecy." Albert stood up and looked towards the lake. "In fact, he knows a lot of things."

"Master of Prophecy?"

When Albert mentioned the master of prophecy, Isobel smelled something unusual.

Albert was good at divination and prediction, so she knew some of the prophet's styles. It was very unusual for him to invite her to go with him for no reason, given his identity.

"Could it be that Mr. Flamel has predicted something?"

"He didn't say." Albert shook his head. "But I guess he will tell us if we go."

"You don't know." Isobel looked at Albert suspiciously, and that suspicious look made him feel a little guilty.

"You think I should know?"

"So, there's something you don't know?" The girl raised a faint smile at the corner of her mouth.

"Being able to predict doesn't mean you're omniscient and omnipotent. I wish I were that powerful." Albert reached out and took Isobel's hand, then slowly walked down the slope to the lake, where they sat on the lawn under the shade of a tree, enjoying the cool breeze.

"But I thought you should know," said Isobel.

"A woman's sixth sense?"

"A woman's sixth sense."

"Women's sixth sense is always so unreasonable." There was a hint of helplessness in Albert's voice.

"I think you will definitely try to find out what the prophecy is, just as vigilantly as you treat the snake in the secret room." After so many years of getting along, Isobel knows Albert's character very well.

"Well, I did predict it and saw some images from the crystal ball." Albert admitted honestly.

"What picture?" Isobel asked curiously.

"We got married," said Albert.

"Is your mind full of these things now?" Isobel ruffled Albert's hair with an embarrassed look, and taught him a lesson with a stern face, "You can't do this. It will affect your learning progress."

"A secret wedding."

"Really?" Isobel stared at Albert for a long time. Seeing that he didn't seem to be joking, her cheeks flushed slightly and she stammered, "But this is not normal. You are not even an adult yet."

"You actually blush."

"Not everyone is as shameless as you, and you're not ready yet."

"I'm ready."

"You're not an adult yet," Isobel warned her boyfriend, poking him in the chest.

"I know."

"No, you don't." Isobel thought this was ridiculous, but Albert was undoubtedly not joking. "You are just a child, or we are all just children."

"You actually seduced an underage child?"

"This is not funny." Isobel said with a straight face, "Okay, I admit that our mentality is more mature than others, but this is really ridiculous."

"Don't worry, I can make enough money to support you." Albert said seriously.

"You know I'm not worried about that." Isobel held Albert's cheeks with both hands, hoping that he could talk to her seriously about this matter.

"Do you know what my first thought was when I learned about this?" Albert said suddenly, suppressing his smile.

"What?"

"The Second Wizarding War is about to break out," Albert said softly, "probably around 1996."

Isobel opened her mouth, having realized something.

She knew Albert planned to get married as soon as he graduated, which would have meant the summer of 1996, or winter at the latest.

That is, when the two were getting married, something very bad happened, so in order to avoid any accidents, Nicolas Flamel planned to advance their wedding

Can-

Why not postpone

"Mr. Flamel's stored elixir will probably last until around 1996." Albert seemed to have guessed the girl's thoughts and revealed another big secret, "I think he will definitely want to attend our wedding."

"I'm curious, how did you come to this conclusion?"

"I plan to send my family away after the sixth grade." Albert did not answer, but said to himself, "Britain is no longer that safe, and I am too dazzling. I am also a Muggle wizard, so I can easily become a target."

"If anyone heard it, they would find it ridiculous."

In fact, Isobel also thought this was ridiculous, but she knew Albert was not lying.

"What are you going to do? The last wizard war was quite tragic and many people died." Isobel looked at Albert, wanting to see the answer she wanted from the other's face.

"Loyalty spell."

"The Fidelius Curse?"

"It is an extremely complex spell that can use magic to hide someone's secret forever in the soul of a living person. As long as the secret keeper does not reveal it, no one will ever be able to find us."

"Do you already have a suitable partner?" Isobel asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, you never have to worry about being betrayed."

"I thought you would stay away from England and away from all danger."

"I'm not planning to leave for now." Albert was silent for a moment, then shook his head and said, "My friends are still struggling here, and I have to provide them with some help. Besides, as I said, this is a crisis, but also an opportunity."

"Your words are always so hard to understand." Isobel stared at Albert for a long time.

"I believe in you," she said. "I believe you can solve all problems. You have never let me down."

“Even though you said that, I always feel a lot of pressure.” Albert muttered.

"Who told you to always say something inexplicable?" Isobel leaned her head on Albert's shoulder. "It's great that the predicted future can be changed."

"It's difficult, but you can do it." Albert said softly, "You have to believe me."

"I believe it."
