Chapter 689: Rainy night

Since they planned to cause trouble for Malfoy, the Weasley twins prepared several packages for him overnight, but sometimes plans cannot keep up with changes.

Malfoy had been staying in the school hospital pretending to be sick and had temporarily escaped.

If these three had any common sense, they would not break into the school hospital to cause trouble for Malfoy. They could only wait quietly until Malfoy was discharged from the hospital.

It wasn't until Thursday afternoon that Malfoy finally left the school hospital.

Before the twins could do anything to Malfoy, they were distracted by another incident: in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Snape, who was transformed by a Boggart, was dressed in his grandmother's clothes by Neville.

The news spread quickly around the campus, and many people felt regretful for not being able to see it with their own eyes.

However, Albert still had a way. He found Neville, easily got the memory from him, and played it in the crystal ball.

When the people in the room saw Snape in the crystal ball, who was transformed into a man wearing a stuffed eagle's hat, a green suit, and a large red handbag, they laughed so hard that they couldn't straighten their backs.

"What a shame, what a shame. Everyone should really see Snape like this." George wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes with the back of his hand and forced himself to get up from the ground with the armchair.

"No, I can't even look Snape in the face now." Lee Jordan was really stunned by Neville's behavior. He was a little worried that when he saw Snape, he would remember that look and couldn't help laughing out loud.

"If it were a photograph, it would sell for a high price," said Fred maliciously.

"If you don't want to be targeted by Snape, don't do that." Albert was comforting Tom who was frightened by his roommate's laughter. Looking at the few people who were laughing and slumped in their chairs, he reminded them: "Whether it's Legilimency or Veritaserum, Snape can easily find you out."

"Why not us?" George asked rhetorically.

"Because I won't do such a stupid thing, and I have to go to his place on the weekend." Albert said unhappily, "I won't be stupid enough to offend him at this time, wouldn't that cause trouble for myself?"

"Oh, I almost forgot, you still have to go to Snape for detention."

"It was tutoring," Albert corrected. He intended to keep this memory forever as Snape's dark history.

"What are you laughing at?"

There was a knock on the door of the room, and Wood pushed the door open and walked in, informing Fred and George that Quidditch training would start tomorrow.

"Aren't you going to reselect the Quidditch players now?" Albert asked.

"No, we are all acquaintances anyway, so it's convenient to use them, and we don't have to waste time getting used to them again." Wood knew what Albert meant, but he didn't care. He continued, "By the way, there is one more thing. I will graduate next year. Who do you think is suitable to take over this position?"

"You mean the new Quidditch captain?" Lee Jordan asked, raising an eyebrow.

"How about we play rock-paper-scissors to decide who will be the captain?"

Fred and George smiled and prepared to play rock-paper-scissors.

"No, you can't."

"Why?" Fred and George protested in unison.

"Because you don't have enough sense of responsibility." Wood said unhappily, "People who don't have a sense of responsibility are not suitable to be captains. I don't want the Gryffindor Quidditch team to be in a mess after graduation."

"You are slandering me." The twins protested unhappily.

"Shut up, I'm just asking for your opinions. The final decision will be made by Professor McGonagall." Wood waved his hand and reminded before leaving, "Remember not to be late tomorrow."

Fred and George looked at Wood's departing back with resentful eyes and complained in a low voice: "Then why are you asking us this?"

"Who do you think will be the next Quidditch captain?" Lee Jordan thought Albert could probably guess who Wood's successor would be.

"Angelina is more enthusiastic about the team, while Arya is relatively calm. If I were Professor McGonagall, I would probably choose Angelina as captain. It is more appropriate to let a student who is passionate about Quidditch be the captain." Albert made a simple analysis.

"I once heard Angelina say that she might join the team and continue playing after graduation," Fred said suddenly.

"Arya will be very sad," Lee Jordan muttered.

"Tsk, how hypocritical. Aren't you chasing Angelina?" The three of them booed Lee Jordan at the same time.

"She has never agreed to date me." Lee Jordan looked a little lonely. "Maybe she already has someone she likes."

"I know who it is," Fred said suddenly.

"Who? Tell me quickly, who does Angelina like?" Lee Jordan urged, breathing heavily.

"Albert." George winked mischievously and teased, "Most girls like Albert."

"I have a girlfriend." Albert said unhappily.

"Why can't you have two relationships at the same time?" George retorted. "I don't think it's strange that you have several relationships at the same time."

"Do you want to shut up yourself, or should I help you shut up?" Albert looked at George unkindly, as if he was considering how to shut his mouth.

"Ahem, he's not very good at courting girls, so don't blame Albert." Fred said with a smile, "Have you not read '12 Secrets to Charming Witches'? I remember we gave you a copy last time."

"You talk as if you have girlfriends." Lee Jordan said contemptuously, "Albert is the only one here who can laugh at me. As for the two of you, you don't even have the courage to confess to the person you like. How dare you stay in Gryffindor?"

"We just don't want to find a girlfriend yet. It will only slow down the progress of opening a store and research." Fred said lazily.

"So, except for you, no one in the dormitory really needs to worry about not being able to find a girlfriend." George gave Lee Jordan a fatal blow without any hesitation.

"You're all about to blow yourselves up," Lee Jordan said sarcastically, "Do you think you're Albert, or that pretty boy Diggory?"

"Digory hasn't found a girlfriend yet." Albert reminded.

"How do you know?" the three asked in unison.

"We have kept in touch through correspondence," Albert said as a matter of course.

Night fell quietly, and heavy rain covered the entire Hogwarts castle. The noise of playfulness in the room was gradually drowned out by the sound of rain outside the window.

In the rain, the Dementors were still patrolling around Hogwarts dutifully to prevent Black from invading Hogwarts school.

But how long can such loyalty last

The Ministry of Magic set up a temporary camp in the wilderness some distance away from Hogwarts Castle, where all the "supplies" for the Dementors would be brought.

However, most Muggle prisoners could not stand the Dementors' sucking and would soon go crazy or die, and they could no longer provide the Dementors with sufficient food.

The worst thing is that it is impossible for the Ministry of Magic to provide "supplies" to the Dementors endlessly. Especially after the Dementors began to multiply, the amount of "supplies" provided by the Ministry of Magic to the Dementors was no longer enough.

After all, the number of Muggle death row prisoners is not endless, and they can never satisfy the Dementors' appetite.

As a result, Hogsmeade village suffered.

In order to prevent Black from hiding in this village, Dementors frequently visit densely populated areas, and many residents are considering whether to move away temporarily.

The Pig's Head Bar was completely deserted during this period.

Although the wizards who were looking after this place were those operating in the gray area, the Auror patrols and the Dementors' search for Black effectively made that group of people disappear.

However, no one noticed that a black dog was walking slowly under the rain, holding a dead mouse in its mouth. It easily passed through the Dementors' tight defense and quietly slipped into the passage under the Whomping Willow.

In the darkness, the black dog let go of the mouse in its mouth and began to chew it in big mouthfuls. After eating it completely, the black dog's body began to swell until it completely regained its human form.

Probably no one had thought that Black, whom the Ministry of Magic had been searching for in vain, would turn into a black dog and roam right under their noses.

Blake slowly walked to the cave entrance, found a dry place to sit down, looked at the Hogwarts Castle under the rain, and muttered something.
