"What time is it?"
Isobel had just woken up and rubbed her head into Albert's arms, asking in a daze.
"It's almost half past six."
Albert reached out and picked up the pocket watch on the bedside table. With the help of the faint candlelight, he saw the current time clearly. "We have to get up. We have to attend the Halloween party later."
"A little tired." The girl muttered.
"I guess my blood sugar is a little low."
Albert hugged his girlfriend tenderly, put the pocket watch back on the bedside table, and took a box of chocolates from the pile of sweets. After unwrapping it, he handed the chocolates to her mouth, "You will feel much better after eating some sweets. Come on, open your mouth~ah!"
"blood sugar?"
Isobel took a vague bite of chocolate and shrank into Albert's arms like a kitten, "What is that?"
"Would you like some more?"
"Um."
After Albert slowly fed Isobel a piece of chocolate, the two finally got up. The girl stood in front of the mirror to straighten her wrinkled clothes, then seized the last ten minutes and hurried downstairs to the auditorium.
Hundreds of pumpkin lanterns were floating in the sky above the hall. Since Hagrid had no intention of taking care of the giant pumpkins in the field, Professor Flitwick had to take other measures to remedy the situation.
Albert soon found Fred, George and Lee Jordan, who were sitting under a group of fluttering bats. They also remembered to save a seat for Albert.
"It cost thirteen Galleons in total."
Fred pretended to look at the orange streamers spewing flames from the ceiling and whispered to Albert, "But we can't be sure if that bastard is using fakes to fool us."
As he spoke, George took out the dried black pod-like poisonous tentacle seeds from a bulging bag.
Albert put the poison tentacle seeds to his ears, and could vaguely hear a slight rustling sound. He nodded to the three people and said, "This is what we want. Don't plant it for now. Find a box to store it first."
"I will."
Not long after, the Halloween banquet began. Delicious food suddenly appeared on the golden plate, instantly attracting everyone's attention.
Albert concentrated on eating a chicken leg and chatted with his roommates about what happened today.
If nothing else, Black had pretty much broken into Hogwarts Castle and was trying to get into the Gryffindor common room through the Fat Lady.
Now is the best chance to catch Blake, but Albert has no intention of catching Blake now, because that means his Galleons will fly away, and if Blake is caught now, he will surely die.
Albert is usually very patient with a guy who may bring him great benefits.
The dinner came to an end amid laughter.
This year's Halloween dinner ended with a show provided by the ghost of Hogwarts. At the Gryffindor table, the almost headless Nick was reenacting the scene of his beheading.
"I think we can invent a similar game, where a wooden man slowly climbs the stairs and walks towards a set of noose racks. Participants are asked to answer riddles, and if they can't answer them, the wooden man will be hanged." George looked at Nick over there and described the game idea to his roommates.
"I think kids would like it." Albert agreed casually, "You can make the little man make some noises after he is hanged, or give some punishment to the losing player."
"I think we can invent a pair of boots that can walk on walls." Lee Jordan said, looking at the ghost floating in the air, "Or, a prop that allows people to float in the air."
"Maybe you can stuff some Billywig's claw powder into your mouth." Fred said without hesitation, "There are still a lot of Billywig's claws left from the last purchase. It is said that if you eat too much of that stuff, you can float in the air forever."
"It's not that he ate too much, it's that he's allergic. There are very few unlucky people like that." Albert corrected.
"Maybe you can use a levitation spell, and then make a pair of boots that can let you stick to the wall. Maybe you can walk on the wall." George expressed his thoughts.
After the dinner, Albert, who had eaten his fill, followed everyone slowly. Before he returned to the common room, he saw Professor Dumbledore hurried to the Hogwarts common room. Then Albert saw everyone walking back, preparing to return to the hall.
"What's going on?"
"The Fat Lady's portrait was damaged by Blake," Fred explained. "By the way, where were you going?"
"It's right behind you." Albert stretched out his hand to cover his yawn and said lazily, "I ate too much last night, so I walked a little slowly."
Students from Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin also arrived. The hall was filled with whispers as everyone asked students from other colleges for news.
This chaotic situation gradually calmed down until Dumbledore appeared.
All students were told by the Headmaster that they would need to stay in the Great Hall overnight as a thorough search of the castle would be carried out.
Before leaving, Dumbledore cleaned up the Great Hall and conjured up hundreds of sleeping bags out of thin air for the students to spend the night in.
However, the prefects were not so lucky. They were asked to stand guard at the entrance of the auditorium to maintain order and ensure that there would be no trouble in the auditorium.
"Do you think Black is still in the castle?" Sana moved closer to Albert, holding her wand in her hand, looking a little nervous.
"Don't worry, Black is no longer in the castle." Albert comforted.
The two men walked through the crowd and headed toward the outskirts of the hall.
"Did you predict it?" Shanna asked in a low voice.
"No, if Blake wasn't stupid, he wouldn't have stayed in the castle. It was inevitable that the professors would search the castle." Albert said, "However, his act of destroying the Fat Lady's portrait was pure. It can be seen that Blake's emotions were somewhat out of control."
"How did he get in?" Shanna was even more worried about this problem.
"Probably through a secret passage." Albert said without hesitation, "There are many secret passages in the school. It's not surprising that Blake knows one of them."
"But Filch knows all the secret passages," Sana reminded.
"Filch can't possibly know all the secret passages." Albert saw Nick coming over here and asked, "What's the matter?"
"Percy's looking for you," Nico reminded.
"I see."
As soon as Albert walked in Percy heard him asking Albert's predecessor to follow Professor McGonagall and search the castle together.
As for Albert and Sana, they stayed here to patrol and maintain order in the auditorium.
"Can I switch with them?" Albert asked.
"I'm fine too." Sana remembered what Albert said, and felt that there should be no danger in following Albert.
"We're fine."
Many people are willing to participate in the mission of searching for Blake. After all, talking about Blake and searching for Blake are two different things.
"Nick, please take them to see Professor McGonagall." Percy was very satisfied with the efficiency here and immediately said to Nick.
"You must know something, right!"
Shanna knew that Albert was not a person who liked to talk big. He would think that Black was no longer in the castle, and there must be some evidence.
"Blake destroyed the portrait of the Fat Lady with a knife." Albert took out a candy from his pocket, peeled one and put it in his mouth, and handed a few to Shanna, "Have some candy to wake you up! We can't sleep tonight."
"You mean, Blake doesn't have a wand in his hand?" Sana was very smart and immediately thought of the reason.
"If Black had a wand, I think he would have burned the whole thing in a fit of rage."
