"Good morning, Bozo."
Rita Skeeter, alligator-skin handbag in hand, stepped into the headquarters of the Daily Prophet and greeted a short man sitting at a table drinking coffee.
"Any news today?"
"Someone told us that Dementors broke into Hogwarts without the Ministry's permission, and Dumbledore seemed very angry." Bozo pulled out a piece of parchment from the pile of documents next to him and read out the contents. "However, the Ministry of Magic has temporarily blocked the news, so the specific situation is unknown."
"What else?"
Rita Skeeter took the coffee handed to her by her colleague, said thank you, and listened carefully to Bozo's news that was worth her in-depth investigation.
"There is news about Black again. Someone saw Black outside London again. However, Black had already escaped before the Ministry of Magic people rushed over." Bozo continued, "Regarding the incident of the Hippogriff attacking students at Hogwarts, Mr. Lucius Malfoy intends to make a formal complaint and hopes to hand the matter over to the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures. We can go and interview Mr. Malfoy."
"What about Albert Anderson?" Rita Skeeter asked after finishing her cup of coffee. "Isn't the Wizengamot going to give him the title of 'Wizengamot British Junior Representative'?"
Rita Skeeter believes that Albert Anderson, who has won two international awards, is fully qualified. If he is not qualified, then no one else is qualified.
"It seems that this is the case." Bozo's eyes fell on the parchment and he said softly, "However, there are many people who do not want everyone to know about this."
"This is your share."
As he spoke, Bozo pulled an envelope out of the drawer and silently handed it to Rita Skeeter.
"It's really rare. I haven't received this kind of stuff for a long time. The quantity is more than I expected." Rita Skeeter stuffed the envelope into her crocodile leather handbag and asked curiously, "What's the reason?"
"That genius seems to be a Muggle wizard." Bozo lowered his voice, fearing that others would hear.
"Damn it."
Rita Skeeter had a look on her face that said you're kidding me.
"Are you sure that guy is a Muggle wizard?"
"Isn't it?" Bozo asked in confusion.
Rita Skeeter's intuition told her that there must be something wrong with Albert Anderson, and he was definitely not a so-called Muggle wizard.
A Muggle-born wizard could never reach such a height, but she didn't dare to dig out that guy's identity. She felt that if she really did find out, she might be dead.
He's a tough guy, the kind you should avoid provoking if possible.
Look, unfortunate President Bernard is having a hard time now. Ever since his cheating was exposed, the Extraordinary Pharmacist Association's doubts about him can no longer be suppressed.
"The other party is very generous," Bozo kindly reminded, "Don't discuss this matter anymore."
"I know the rules, please continue."
Rita Skeeter had no intention of getting involved. This was most likely a struggle between two factions, and getting dragged into it would not end well.
"An interview with the Irish team. They just launched their new Firebolt and are the favorites to win next year's Quidditch World Cup."
"The Pili Company has launched a flying broom that it claims can compete with the Firebolt series, but it seems to have encountered some trouble during testing, and there is currently no suitable finished product."
"What else?"
"Does it count if you received a few more letters without senders on them?" Bozo asked with a smile, "Which one do you plan to start with?"
"We can go interview Mr. Lucius Malfoy." Rita Skeeter said without hesitation, "I think he will definitely welcome us."
With that, Rita Skeeter returned to her desk to write a letter to Lucius Malfoy, making an appointment for an interview in the afternoon.
She glanced over the letters on the table, picking out those without a sender.
Well, even if there was a sender, Rita Skeeter would be very careful when opening the letter.
no way.
Rita Skeeter often receives some malicious letters, most of which contain curses or envelopes with malicious intent directed at her. The best option is to burn these things directly.
However, one of the letters caught Rita Skeeter's attention because it read: Dementor rampage, Savior nearly fell to death, photo inside.
All right!
After seeing the letter and hearing the news, Rita Skeeter guessed who might have sent the letter. She took out her honesty detector to check the letter. After making sure there was no spell on it, she put on dragon leather gloves, opened the envelope with a letter opener, and took out the letter and photo inside.
The content on the letter was very short, briefly introducing the cause, process and result of the incident, but this information was enough for Rita Skeeter, especially with a few photos, which were solid evidence.
As for the Ministry of Magic's face, who cares
At least Rita Skeeter doesn't care, it's not the first time she's done this, and people have a right to know what's going on.
Besides, Rita Skeeter couldn't resist such big news.
What a dangerous guy!
Rita Skeeter couldn't help but feel emotional and began to immerse herself in writing about this matter, while also questioning the authority of the Ministry of Magic.
Rita Skeeter knew these things so well that a quarter of them were true and the other three quarters were pure fabrication.
It only took an hour to complete the preliminary draft of the manuscript.
"Bozo, please take these two photos and this article to the editor-in-chief. I think this bombshell news is more suitable to be the headline of today. We have to get this done before the Ministry of Magic comes to its senses, lest they ban the Daily Prophet from publishing this report."
"Where did you get the news?"
Bozo was very shocked by the content of the report. Although he knew that most of what Rita Skeeter wrote was fake, the two photos attached were still very convincing.
Although the photo is a bit blurry, you can still tell that it is Hogwarts School.
"I don't know either, but the person who sent the letter to me obviously had no reason to lie, after all, he even prepared photos." Rita Skeeter didn't think Albert would deliberately tease her.
"Fudge is going to be in big trouble now," Bozo muttered.
"No, he won't."
Rita Skeeter knew Fudge. After serving as Minister of Magic for several years, he was already very adept at dealing with these things.
Barnabas Guffey, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Prophet, seized the opportunity very well. While everyone was reading the newspaper, he suddenly changed the headline of the Daily Prophet. This caught the Ministry of Magic off guard. Before they could react, everyone knew that the Dementors had lost control and broke into Hogwarts and attacked Harry.
Even though Fudge knew about this, someone still sent him a letter accusing him of killing Harry.
In Rita Skeeter's novel, the savior Harry is suspected to have fallen to his death.
After reading it, Fudge was so angry that he locked himself in his office and smashed things. No matter how you looked at it, this was his dereliction of duty.
Of course, Fudge would not admit that this was his problem, especially since Harry Potter was not dead at all.
Fudge is very experienced in how to deal with this matter.
He was the Minister of Magic, so he could just brush it off gently and make sure Dementors would never appear in Hogwarts again, and the matter would be over.
He would receive some criticism, but Fudge didn't care, he was used to it.
However, Fudge didn't know that all of this was actually within Albert's expectations. The other party had dug a pit for him and was preparing to kick him into it.
