"The O.W.Ls exams seem to be very scary. I heard that someone couldn't bear the pressure of the exams and had a mental breakdown."
Hermione and Albert had just come out of the library and were walking side by side in the corridor leading to the Gryffindor common room, chatting casually about recent events.
Actually, Hermione wanted to ask Albert about the O.W.L. exams. The twelve subjects put a lot of pressure on her, and she was a little worried that she would not be able to bear the pressure of the O.W.L. exams and end up having an emotional breakdown like everyone else.
"The difficulty of the O.W.Ls exam is not high, and it is not difficult to get excellent grades." Albert said to Hermione, "As long as you can thoroughly grasp the key points mentioned by the professors in class, I think you should be able to pass the written and practical tests of the O.W.Ls easily."
In fact, Albert was not perfunctory. He looked through the O.W.Ls exams of previous generations and found that most of the exam contents were very similar, which means that as long as you master this part of knowledge, you can easily pass the exam.
"Perhaps this is the biggest difference between geniuses and ordinary people!" Hermione was a little depressed. "For others, this exam is very difficult, but I don't think you need to review it much, and you still have plenty of time to study other things."
"You are also very smart. There is no need to belittle yourself. Even a genius needs to work hard, not to mention you are a genius." Albert took out some candies and handed them to Hermione, comforting her softly, "You are just not completely used to it yet. Maybe Percy can give you some good advice. His way is more suitable for you."
"Percy suggested that I come to you for help." Hermione whispered. She had looked for Percy before, hoping that he could give her some advice, but Percy's suggestion to her was to ask Albert directly if she didn't understand something, to learn from him first, and then to think about it.
The corner of Albert's mouth twitched. He was indeed very busy and had a lot of things to do every day. He didn't have much time to help Hermione.
Hermione knew Albert was very busy, so she didn't want to disturb him.
Of course, there were other reasons, but Hermione didn't want to get herself and Albert into trouble.
They were both silent for a while until they reached the entrance of the Gryffindor common room and saw Neville Longbottom seemed to be in some trouble.
Sir Cadogan would not let him into the common room.
"What's going on?" Albert asked.
"He kept changing the passwords, and I was confused by them!" Neville said miserably with tears in his eyes, "Later, I could only write down all the passwords, but I lost the paper!"
"That's as real as it gets!" Sir Cadogan said to Albert and Hermione after he had yelled at Neville. "You should have chained this fool up in the dungeons. He tried to force his way into the rooms there!"
"You look weird," Albert said to Sir Cadogan. "I suggest you change your password to a more normal one. You change your password too frequently. Many people have come to me to protest against this."
"Longbottom is not the first person to be driven crazy by passwords." Albert said to Hermione beside him.
"You need a password to open the door. This is the rule for entering the Gryffindor common room. You can't expect Sir Cadogan to give you this permission. Also, don't beg in front of a painting. Weakness will only bring contempt and ridicule from others."
Albert turned to Neville and said, "If you often forget things, I suggest you prepare a small notebook and tie it to your belt with a chain. Write things down in the notebook. If you forget, take out the notebook and look through it. I remember there is a kind of quill pen that can automatically replenish ink, or you can use a Muggle charcoal pencil, fountain pen or ballpoint pen."
Albert took out a notebook from his pocket and waved it in front of Neville Longbottom. "This is much more practical than a memory ball, isn't it, Longbottom?"
"Thank you, thank you!"
Neville was sincerely grateful to Albert. He felt that he was really stupid to use the memory ball before. Albert provided him with a good solution to the problem of forgetfulness.
As long as he wrote down everything and carried the notes with him, he wouldn't have to worry about forgetting anything.
"I didn't expect you would carry something like this with you." Hermione was very surprised. She knew that although Albert couldn't remember everything he saw, his memory was better than most people.
"You can't remember everything, especially when you're busy. Sometimes notes are more reliable than memory." Albert said with a smile, "Fred and George also carry such a notebook. When they occasionally have inspiration, they will write it down immediately. It's just that the feather pen is a little difficult to use, so they now use Muggle ballpoint pens."
"Are you going in or not?" Sir Cadogan couldn't help complaining.
The two separated after entering the common room. Albert first greeted the three roommates who were whispering together, and then prepared to go back to the dormitory and take Tom down for a walk.
As soon as he went upstairs, Albert heard hurried footsteps coming from upstairs, which became louder and louder, as if an angry person was running up the stairs.
A few seconds later, someone rushed down the stairs with a bed sheet covering his body. He immediately stepped aside to make way for the other person.
"It seems to be Ron?"
After Albert saw the man's appearance clearly, he recalled carefully, but for the time being he could not remember which famous scene this was. He continued to walk towards the dormitory, but Ron's angry roar came from below: "Look, look... look at what this is!"
After Albert carried Tom downstairs, he found out what had happened from Lee Jordan.
Hermione's cat ate Ron's mouse
So, the two of them had a falling out.
"I think that mouse named Scabbers means something special to Ron, that's why he is so angry." Albert could understand Ron's thoughts.
"Special meaning, his pet?"
"Or a girlfriend?"
Fred and George looked at each other and couldn't help giggling. They obviously didn't understand what the so-called special meaning meant.
“It’s family.”
Albert looked at the twins who were teasing Ron in silence and explained, "For some people, pets are also members of the family."
Albert would probably be furious if someone ate or killed his Tom.
"Family?" Fred and George were silent.
"So, Ron considers Scabbers his own family? It turns out that we are just like Scabbers in Ron's heart." Fred sighed heavily, looking heartbroken.
"I think this is just a metaphor, meaning it's as important as family." Lee Jordan said speechlessly.
"However, we didn't expect Ron to attach so much importance to the mouse. I thought he would care more about his friends." George understood, but he couldn't understand why Ron fell out with his friends because of this.
"That's Percy's mouse!" Fred muttered. "It seems to have lived for a long time, five years, or even longer. I think the mouse should be dying soon. Pets like mice usually don't live too long. In fact, I think it's better for it to die early. At least it doesn't have to endure the pain of a slow death."
Lee Jordan suddenly understood why Albert didn't let them cause trouble for Filch's cat. He used to think that it was because Albert liked cats. So this was the reason.
"To Filch, the cat is family?" Lee Jordan said suddenly.
"What?"
The three of them didn't react for a moment.
"I suddenly understand why you don't let us touch Filch's cat." Lee Jordan couldn't help but sigh.
Fred and George were both silent. It was not difficult for them to see Filch's situation from Ron.
"That cat is a family member and spiritual support to Filch. If you kill or injure Mrs. Norris, I bet Filch will keep an eye on you and cause trouble for you. Do you remember what Filch looked like after Mrs. Norris was petrified last year?"
"That's like a mad dog."
