Chapter 752: Speculations and possibilities

"Sirius Black broke into Gryffindor Tower with a knife with the intent to kill Harry Potter?"

Albert held up his hand to cover a yawn, and listened to Fred, George, and Lee Jordan telling what happened in the middle of the night. He tilted his head and looked at the intact portrait passage and asked, "How on earth did Black break into the Gryffindor common room without a password?"

"Longbottom wrote the password on a piece of paper, but after he lost it, Black picked it up." Lee Jordan took out a handful of toad mints from his robe pocket and distributed them to everyone. He picked one and put it in his mouth, saying vaguely, "You were not there at the time, so you didn't see Professor McGonagall's angry look. She was so angry that her voice was shaking."

"Some time ago, Longbottom seemed to have said that the note with the password was lost." Albert reached out and stroked Tom, who was taking a nap at the table. He looked up and looked around the crowded common room and asked, "By the way, you guys must have not slept all night. Why are you here if you don't go back to catch up on your sleep? Waiting to hear whether Black has been caught?"

"Yes, everyone is waiting for news here. Do you think Blake can slip away again?" Fred brought a cup of hot milk tea with a strong milky flavor and a small plate of egg custard biscuits left over from last night.

"The chances of catching Blake are slim." Albert said without hesitation, "If the professors can really catch Blake, I think you will definitely receive the news at the first time."

"Actually, I'm more curious about why Black didn't kill Ron to silence him and continue looking for Harry?" George asked the question in his mind.

"Do you really want your brother to be killed by Blake?" Lee Jordan couldn't help rolling his eyes.

"As early as twelve years ago, Blake liked to kill innocent people." George made it clear. "Faced with five sleeping boys, it is entirely possible that Blake would kill all of them. For a person who is blinded by hatred and is about to succeed in revenge, I don't think he will easily give up such a good opportunity."

"Maybe Blake is worried that he will be trapped in the castle, and once everyone is awakened, it will be difficult for him to leave the castle." Angelina also participated in the discussion.

"I don't think Black is afraid of death. If he was really afraid of death, he wouldn't have risked breaking into Hogwarts Castle to assassinate Harry. Everything about tonight was weird." Shanna agreed with George. She didn't think a person full of hatred would be afraid of death. "Don't forget, your brother said Black was holding a knife, which means Black didn't have a wand. A wizard without a wand can't exert his true power. This is almost Black's only chance for revenge, but he gave it up."

"As long as he kills the people in the room, Black will be able to get the wand. I believe that a criminal who can escape from Azkaban prison can definitely escape from Hogwarts Castle before the professors react."

"He must kill everyone in the school, and he might even meet the teacher..." Angelina also felt that her reasons were becoming less and less tenable.

"If I were Sirius Black, I would blow up the window and escape directly through it." Albert pointed to the window next to him and said, "It is really stupid to try to go out through the portrait channel. If Black was so stupid, I think he would have been caught by the Dementors long ago."

"But at least there is..."

Arya suddenly stopped talking. She also realized that for wizards, the height of seven or eight floors was obviously nothing. The last time Harry fell from a high altitude, he was also safe and sound.

The worst case scenario is death. Is a desperado like Blake really afraid of death

Obviously not afraid.

"There are indeed many suspicious aspects of this matter, and thanks to this, Ron was not in trouble." Fred said as he looked at Ron who was describing the whole incident last night to others.

"There are many ways to solve the doubts. Now I ask, you answer, and tell me all the reasons you can think of, no matter how ridiculous they are." Albert waved his wand, and a notebook and a pen appeared out of thin air.

“First question:

Why do you think Black didn't kill Ron, or anyone else in the dormitory, and give up on his revenge on Harry?"

The pen automatically wrote this sentence on the notebook.

"You don't want to kill innocent people?" Angelina said first, "Or are you worried that other students will be trapped in the castle after they wake up?"

"What about you?" Albert asked the others.

The others frowned and thought, but still couldn't figure out the reason. This matter was really suspicious.

"Maybe Black is actually a good person. He actually came to give Potter a gift, but he just couldn't find Harry's bed." Fred amused himself when he said this.

"Maybe his brain is confused and his first instinctive reaction is to run away, just like most people's first reaction when they encounter danger is to turn around and run away." Lee Jordan felt that his reason was the most likely. "After all, Black has been hunted by Dementors and Aurors. It is not surprising that he would have such a reaction."

Albert wrote all this down with a pen and continued, "If I were Blake, I would never give up such a good opportunity."

"Maybe Black didn't come here to kill Harry, or maybe his target wasn't Harry?" George tried to dig out more possibilities.

"Black broke into Harry's dormitory, obviously with some purpose. If his target was not Harry, who could it be? Obviously it couldn't be Ron, otherwise he would have had his throat cut."

"Don't forget, Dad once said that Black said in his sleep: He is in Hogwarts. Who do you think he is referring to? Harry? No, this is just our speculation." George continued, "The only thing that is certain is that the target Black wants to kill is in that dormitory."

"How do you think Black got the password?" Albert said again: "To be honest, I don't believe that Longbottom threw the password around and Black happened to get it. This seems too coincidental. There are not so many coincidences in this world."

Fred, George, and Lee Jordan looked at each other, as if they had thought of something. "You mean Blake has helpers in school?"

Everyone looked a little uneasy, and this guess was very close to the truth.

"That person tampered with Longbottom's memory?"

"Very likely."

"Longbottom is very forgetful and it's not easy to spot his flaws."

"Do you think it's possible for Black to disguise himself as a professor at school?" Shanna said, "As far as I know, there is a potion called Compound Potion that can make a person look like another person."

"Who do you think is more suspicious?"

"Professor Lupin." Shanna said without hesitation: "Although he is a good professor, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor always causes some trouble every year, and he is new."

"A compound potion can do it, but it takes a lot of time to brew it." Albert wrote this down and continued to ask, "Does anyone else have any other ideas?"

"Become a small animal, like someone's pet?"

"If Black could turn into a cat, he wouldn't need a password. Of course, it could also be a disguise."

"Does anyone have a new pet?" Angelina asked.

"Hermione's cat," said George. "And he was chasing Ron's mouse."

"So, Black disguised himself as Hermione's cat to actually hunt down Ron's mice?" Shanna felt it was ridiculous when she said this.

"How did Blake get into the castle?" Albert asked again.

"Secret passage!" Fred, George and Lee Jordan said in unison.

After the others looked over, they lowered their voices and said, "He must have gone through the secret passage. I don't think he would break into the castle so brazenly."

"Use a broomstick," said Angelina.

"Or turn into a bird and fly into the castle," Shannah speculated.

"Or use some weird magic. After all, no one knows whether he learned any tricks from the mysterious man?" Alia reminded.

"Finally, how did he hide it from the Dementors?"

"Disillusionment Charm?" Fred said and then shook his head, because Dumbledore had said at the beginning that invisibility magic was ineffective against Dementors.

"Did the Dementors let him out on purpose?"

"He disguised himself as someone, or some creature?"

Everyone was silent. They recalled Shanna's speculation just now. Black was hiding in Hogwarts disguised as someone

"But how did he escape from Azkaban prison?"

"In fact, to judge whether a professor is suspicious, you just need to see if they often take a bottle to drink. The compound potion usually only lasts for an hour, so he must drink the compound potion frequently to avoid exposing himself."

“No.” “No.” “No.”

"As far as I can remember, no professor has ever done that."

Everyone searched their memories and shook their heads. This kind of thing couldn't be concealed, at least it couldn't be completely concealed.

"Then it's unlikely that he is pretending to be a professor. He must have an assistant."

"Okay, let me summarize." Albert quickly glanced at his notes and said, "What is certain is that Black did want to kill someone, and that person was in Hogwarts, in Harry's dormitory. For this reason, Black suggested escaping from Azkaban. He knew some secret passages in the castle that even Filch knew, and he could easily enter and exit the castle without being noticed by others. Black had an assistant at Hogwarts who helped him get the password to the Gryffindor common room, and Black was also able to use some kind of disguise to make himself noticeable to the Dementors."

"I think we are very close to the truth. We just need to narrow down the scope and find out who Blake wants to kill or his helpers to uncover the truth."

"I can't think of anyone other than Harry that Black wants to kill."

"But Blake gave up killing others." Shanna reminded, "Suppose Blake is a good person, who would he want to kill?"

"How could Black be a good man?" Arya thought this was ridiculous. "If he was a good man, how could he be imprisoned in Azkaban for more than ten years? If he was innocent, the first thing he would do after escaping would be to prove his innocence and clear his name, instead of running to Hogwarts to kill people."
