Chapter 767: Hypocritical

As people watched the angry Madam Pince drive the naughty guys out of the library, they were immediately attracted by Harry's urgent shouting.

"Ron, don't scare me!"

Harry reached out and gently pushed Ron, who was pale and dull-eyed, and shouted in panic.

Ron, who had just been knocked down by the giant spider, seemed to be extremely frightened and was completely stunned.

"What's wrong Ron?"

When Hermione withdrew her gaze from the library door, she also found that Ron's face was pale, and he collapsed to the ground, still shaking slightly.

"Hermione, think of a solution," Harry pleaded.

"I... I..."

Hermione was also a little flustered. She didn't know what to do for a moment and grabbed her hair anxiously. "Oh, right, give Ron a tranquilizer. He must have been scared by the big spider. I remember Ron is afraid of spiders."

"Do you have any tranquilizers?" Harry felt like he was asking a stupid question.

"We should get Ron to the hospital wing immediately," Hermione said loudly. "I heard Madam Pomfrey prepared a cauldron of tranquilizers."

"What's going on?"

Madam Pince also noticed this and squatted down to check on Ron.

"He must have been terrified. The Boggart turned into a giant spider and jumped on Ron, which frightened him," panted Harry. "Ron is afraid of spiders."

"Hurry up and take him to the school hospital." Madam Pince stood up and said to the students who were watching the excitement over there, "Come over and lend a hand, help take Mr. Weasley to the school hospital."

Many students saw the Boggart turn into Albert and then into a big spider, which scared Weasley silly.

The news spread like a plague in the school.

Many Slytherin students gloated over this, especially Draco Malfoy, who even threatened to give Ron a pet spider to help him overcome his fear of spiders.

As the culprit of the whole incident, Albert naturally could not escape. The group was called to Professor McGonagall's office for a lecture.

"Tell me, Mr. Anderson, what is going on?" Professor McGonagall's face also looked unhappy, and she had obviously received the news.

"Someone sent me a Boggart..."

Albert honestly told him the whole story, including how Kenneth brought the package to him in the library and how someone opened the package while he was reading the letter.

Albert patted his chest and guaranteed that every word he said was true, but he omitted some things that he thought were not important, for example: the Bogut was actually purchased by him.

In a way, it wasn't a purchase, since Albert hadn't paid for it yet.

The whole thing sounded like someone had sent a Boggart to Albert as a prank, and Kenneth happened to receive the letter and took it to the library for him. Others were curious about why the package moved, so they opened it to see what was inside.

As a result, those accidents occurred.

As for Fred, who opened the package, he admitted his mistake with a good attitude. According to him, Albert had received letters sent by others with malicious intent more than once. Those unsigned or very suspicious envelopes or packages were usually opened with the help of several of them.

Last time, someone sent Albert chocolates laced with love drugs, and Lee Jordan fell for it.

As for the reason

Of course it's fun.

Sometimes something unexpected would be prescribed, and this was also approved by Albert.

The bottom line is: it was a complete accident, they were just helping to open a suspicious package.

Well, that's really true.

The whole thing was just a misunderstanding, and they didn't expect anyone to send a Boggart to Albert.

When the four of them pretended to be innocent, Kenneth suddenly said: I remember there was a letter, and the sender seemed to be named Fletch... something.

All four of them looked at Kenneth.

"Yes, there was a letter. However, the letter was burned after it was read. When I was about to remind them not to open the package, it was too late." Albert looked innocent. "Next time, I will never open those suspicious packages in the library."

"Twenty points deducted from Gryffindor. You'd better go check on Weasley. He seems to be frightened by the Boggart." Professor McGonagall sighed helplessly, knowing that Albert was not to blame for this.

Who would have thought that someone would actually send a Boggart to Albert

In a way, Albert was also a victim.

The few of them left Professor McGonagall's office smoothly without being blamed too much. Fred told Albert that Ron hated spiders.

"That's because you turned his teddy bear into a giant ugly spider," George said angrily. "Otherwise, why would Ron be afraid of spiders?"

Li Jordan couldn't help but shake his head. Ron was really unlucky to have such a brother. Just imagine that the teddy bear he was holding suddenly turned into a spider. Anyone would be traumatized.

"He broke my toy broom." Fred showed no remorse at all.

"What snacks does Ron like?" Albert asked George.

"Well... I didn't pay attention. I think he would like it!" George said uncertainly.

"What's wrong?" Albert looked at Fred who was distracted.

"That guy must have done it on purpose." Fred whispered as he looked at Kenneth Toller's departing back.

"What do you mean by intentional?" Lee Jordan asked puzzled.

"That guy definitely wants us to be put in solitary confinement," Fred said with certainty.

"Okay, do you know what Ron likes to eat?" Albert asked again.

"I think he would like most sweets!" Fred said without hesitation, "You don't have to bring a gift for that guy. Well, I think I still have some peppermint toad candies in my dormitory."

"Those seem to be the peppermint toad candies left over from the last party!" George looked at Fred speechlessly, "I still have two boxes of chocolate frogs."

"A box of Beebe Every Flavour Beans." Lee Jordan also contributed most of the snacks.

Finally, Albert conjured a basket and a bouquet of flowers out of thin air, filled the basket with candy and snacks, and then went with everyone to the school hospital to visit Ron.

When they went to the hospital wing, Ron was lying on the bed talking to Harry and Hermione.

"I'm sorry Ron, I didn't expect this would affect you."

Albert put the basket full of snacks on the table beside Ron's bed, then took a box of chocolates from the basket and stuffed it into Ron's hand: "Eating some sweets will help calm you down."

"This is not your problem." Ron did not blame Albert, especially since the other party brought a bunch of snacks to apologize to him.

Moreover, to a certain extent, Albert was also a victim, he was just accidentally affected.

"Where did you get all this food?" Ron asked Fred and George curiously as he bit off the head of the Chocolate Frog.

"Of course, they are the snacks we bought last time we went to Hogsmeade. However, most of the snacks in the basket are Albert's." Fred peeled a candy for himself and said, "By the way, you were scared of a spider and turned pale. That's really lame. We killed a lot of spiders of that size in the Forbidden Forest in our first year."

"There are spiders like that in the Forbidden Forest?" Ron's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Well, each of the eight-eyed giant spiders that Hagrid released is as big as the previous thing, and there are a bunch of them, and they can speak human language, so you should not enter the Forbidden Forest at will. Once you accidentally enter the territory of the eight-eyed giant spider, you will be doomed." Albert reminded kindly.

"Where's the Boggart?" Hermione noticed Ron's pale face and changed the subject. "Who sent it to you?"

"Mr. Thief. However, I intend to use it for teaching. It is said that repelling Boggart is one of the practical questions for the O.W.L. Defense Against the Dark Arts exam."

"Can I go to the Defense Society?" Hermione asked.

"Well..." Albert nodded and said, "However, the so-called Defense Association is actually just to help everyone get a relatively good score in the O.W.Ls Defense Against the Dark Arts exam. It may be a bit beyond the scope for you."

Just then, the arrival of Malfoy, Goyle and Crabbe interrupted their chat.

When Malfoy saw Albert and the other three, he immediately put away the smile on his face.

"Weasley, I heard you were sick. Oh, sorry, I said the wrong thing. You were scared of a Boggart. Anyway, I brought you a gift that will definitely cure your fear of spiders." Malfoy put the package on the table and took a few candies before turning away. Ron was so angry that he wanted to throw the package at Malfoy's head.

"Want me to take it apart for you?" Fred said maliciously. "I bet there's a 90 percent chance that there's a spider in there."

"No need to tear it down, just help me throw it away."

"Maybe you can send it back to Malfoy." George gave Ron an idea, "You can put cockroaches, rats and the like in it."

"That's a good idea," Ron muttered.

"I can help." Harry was happy to see Malfoy in trouble: "We can send it to Malfoy before the end of Easter. Making Easter eggs will definitely give Malfoy an unexpected surprise."

"You..." Hermione didn't want to do what they did.

"Hermione, there's nothing wrong with this. Look at what Malfoy has done this semester. He should have been punished long ago."
