At midnight, everyone in the dormitory went to bed.
Fred quietly pulled back the sheets, climbed out of bed, walked to George's bed, reached out and pushed him twice, making a hushing gesture.
George slowly got up, put his robes back on, picked up his wand, and tiptoed out of the room, with Fred closing the door softly behind him.
The two walked up the spiral staircase and entered the Gryffindor common room.
There was no one in the lounge, and the fire in the fireplace had burned out. But the two did not leave the lounge immediately, but found an armchair and sat down.
Fred pulled the old parchment from the pocket of his robes and tapped it with his wand. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
"Me too," muttered George, who was standing beside him, and immediately brought his lit wand over to illuminate the Marauder's Map for Fred.
After the castle map was constructed, Fred spread the Marauder's Map on the table, and the two began to look for Filch's name. The annoying administrator was resting in a bedroom next to the administrator's office on the first floor, while his cat Mrs. Norris was patrolling on the fifth floor.
Peeves, the mischievous ghost, was in the History of Magic classroom on the second floor, and Dumbledore was pacing back and forth in the headmaster's office.
"Where's Percy?" George whispered.
Fred raised his hand and pointed to Percy's dormitory and said, "Sleeping."
"Ok, the night tour begins!" Fred and George high-fived each other, put away the Marauder's Map and prepared to set off.
However, as soon as the two climbed through the portrait passage, they were spotted by the Fat Lady: "Where are you planning to go at this time?"
"Night cruise, ma'am," Fred grinned.
The Fat Lady was also stunned. She never thought that someone would talk about night wandering so confidently.
"Hurry up!" George, who was standing behind, reached out and pushed Fred, and the two of them quickly disappeared around the corner of the corridor.
Standing in the dark and silent corridor, the Weasley twins began to get excited. With the Marauder's Map in hand, the entire Hogwarts Castle would be completely open to them.
As for Filch, he'll never catch them.
"Albert will definitely regret not joining us for the night tour." Fred said to George happily after confirming Filch's location again.
"I think Albert may have to wait until he learns the Disillusionment Charm before he is willing to join us for the night tour." George's tone was filled with undisguised excitement. "However, this is our first time using the Marauder's Map, so it's not bad to use it alone."
In fact, the twins were not very willing to share the secret of the Marauder's Map with too many people.
"Once we figure out all the secret passages in the castle, we'll definitely be able to scare them both," Fred said happily.
During the day, there are some secret passages that they cannot try openly, but at night there is no one in the castle, so there is no need to worry too much. This is a good opportunity.
Fred took the Marauder's Map and found the front. The corridor was pitch black and eerie. Every time he turned a corner, he could feel his heart pounding.
It's a thrilling feeling!
"Stop!" Fred quickly extinguished his wand and made a hushing gesture to George behind him.
"What's wrong."
"It's Nearly Headless Nick."
After waiting for about thirty seconds, Fred, under George's cover, relit his wand and checked the location of the nearly headless Nick.
"It's gone!" said Fred.
The two tiptoed down the stairs and stopped in front of a statue of a knight in armor on the seventh floor.
On the Marauder's Map, an ink dot marked "Fred" was tapping the knight's helmet mask with his wand, and a spell appeared next to it: "Turn Mouth into Door."
The two looked at each other, what
"Let me try and turn the mouth into a door." After George turned off the lights, he picked up the magic wand and tapped the helmet mask of the stone knight's armor.
The knight's helmet statue suddenly bent down, and his open mask suddenly opened and continued to expand, just like a person bending over and opening his mouth wide, and the entrance was large enough for a slightly thinner person to enter.
Fred looked at the Marauder's Map, and after making sure that no one was around, he quickly walked in, followed closely by George.
This is a narrow secret passage, the ground is full of dust and spider webs.
"I dare say no one has walked this road for a long time." Fred used his wand to push away the spider webs in front of him and moved forward with difficulty. The road went down and there was a door at the exit, a stone door. When Fred and George passed through, they found themselves blocked by a wooden door.
"Where is this?" George asked.
"The fourth floor. I remember where this is. Some doors open and there are stone doors inside that can't be opened."
"I dare say this is a one-way passage." George said as he stretched out his hand and pushed the stone door.
Some of the doors in Hogwarts are not real doors at all, but solid walls that look like doors. Now it seems that these are actually doors, and they are also doors to secret passages. However, you can only go through the other side of the door, and you can't enter directly from this side.
George carefully left the wooden door open, and just as he raised his wand, a complaint came from the portrait next to him, who was wearing drowsiness and a nightcap.
"Pay attention, kid. We need to sleep."
"Oh, sorry!" George immediately lowered his wand and said to Fred, "Let's get out of here first."
"Go this way, I know there is a secret passage here!" Fred led the way quickly, and they stopped beside a vase at the corner of the third floor.
George stepped forward and tapped the vase twice with his wand, "Turn left, turn right."
The vase made a slight friction sound, and a black dot suddenly appeared in a landscape painting hanging on the wall next to it. The black dot gradually enlarged, and soon a door was seen. George stepped forward, reached out to grab the door handle, and pushed it gently. The original photo frame opened, revealing the entrance hidden behind it.
When the two walked in, they found that this was actually a secret passage leading to the outside of the castle, and the exit was on the mountain road leading to the dock. The entrance was covered with weeds, and more importantly, no one could see clearly that there was a secret passage.
After the twins came out, the mountain wall at the entrance gradually returned to its original state.
"Who would have known that there was an entrance here." Fred reached out and knocked on the rock of the mountain wall. It was hard and he could never imagine that there was a door here.
"How are we supposed to get in? Don't tell me we're going to be here in the wind all night." George clasped his arms and shivered in the night wind.
"Let me see." Fred glanced at the Marauder's Map, and sure enough, it did teach them how to open the entrance.
"Knock on the raised stone three times?" he muttered to himself, looking for the stone described on the map, "Open it quickly."
There was a sudden change on the stone wall, and a hidden stone wall suddenly appeared in front of the two people, and the stone wall slowly opened.
The two of them hurried in. The night wind was a little cold, and George almost caught a cold. He sneezed several times on the way back.
"Are you okay?" Fred asked.
"I think I caught a cold." George rubbed his nose.
"That's enough for today. We have classes tomorrow." Fred suppressed a yawn.
George agreed.
