"What's wrong with him?"
"It seems like he fell down the stairs."
"Was he pushed down?"
"He must have missed his step and fell down."
"He's really unlucky."
“It’s what he deserves.”
"I guess he did too many bad things and was retaliated against by others."
There was a burst of whispers around, but no student was willing to lend a helping hand to Malfoy. They just watched him in such a miserable state and gloated over his misfortune.
Draco Malfoy climbed up the stairs in a panic, with confusion and pain that could not be concealed on his face. He could not understand why he had forgotten to jump over the trick step and he missed a step and fell into it. His right leg seemed to be sprained and the pain was so severe that he was about to cry.
When everyone around was attracted by Malfoy's misfortune, Albert just glanced at Malfoy and quietly turned away.
Yes, Malfoy falling down the stairs was indeed related to Albert.
Just now, Albert secretly erased Malfoy's small memory and cast a confusing spell on him to divert his attention.
The Confusion Charm was quite effective and Malfoy even fell down because of it.
Albert really didn't feel any pressure to create trouble for Malfoy. He dared to pat his chest and guarantee that the Ministry of Magic's sudden change of the appeal time must be related to old Malfoy.
Albert was not surprised by this. The Ministry of Magic left a very bad impression in his mind, and it had been doing this kind of thing for a number of days.
Fortunately, Albert had made preparations a few weeks ago, otherwise he might have been caught off guard by the sudden accident.
Although it is always said that plans cannot keep up with changes, a prepared person will not be afraid of any challenges at any time or place.
Well, Albert was actually wary of the Easter holidays. He always felt that something bad would happen during his Easter holidays.
There is a reason why he thinks this way.
Ever since he came to Hogwarts, the frequency of incidents during the Easter holidays has been even comparable to that of Halloween.
In his first year at school, Albert entered the Forbidden Forest late at night to look for Fred and George, and brought down a group of deadly eight-eyed giant spiders.
If that wasn't enough, the Easter holidays the following year were even more terrifying, when Albert and Isobel killed their Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Rowena Smith, in the Forbidden Forest.
This was a big deal, but during the Easter holiday of the third year, Albert and several of his roommates broke through the mechanism protecting the Philosopher's Stone. You have to know that this was the Philosopher's Stone that Voldemort had his eyes on. He also used this to blackmail Quirrell, who was possessed by Voldemort, for a large sum of Galleons. He was simply going further and further down the road to death.
Last year's Easter was even more thrilling. In order to expose the heir of Slytherin completely, Albert risked being killed by the Basilisk's eyes and designed a way to escape the Basilisk's pursuit.
So, what about this year
Who knows if Hagrid's Buckbeak will be executed early this Easter, or if Sirius Black will appear early.
Then, there will be a battle between werewolves, dementors, or geniuses fighting prisoners
Or even that everything could happen together
They say that being prepared is the best way to avoid trouble.
Albert is always preparing to better complete the task.
That evening, after dinner, Albert went to Hagrid's hunting lodge for tea.
Over tea, the two chatted about Buckbeak's appeal.
After listening to Hagrid's description, Albert probably guessed the reason why the Ministry of Magic revised the appeal.
It may be that Hagrid hired a legal advisor on Albert's advice, which made Lucius Malfoy feel threatened.
Last time, Hagrid almost labeled Draco as a fool who grabbed a dog's tail and got bitten by the dog without any help.
If he hadn't bribed a bunch of people, God knows what would have happened.
This time, Hagrid not only found himself a professional legal advisor, but also planned to make the entire content of the appeal public, putting old Malfoy under tremendous pressure.
Once this gets exposed, God knows where things will go.
Therefore, Lucius Malfoy chose to bribe Hagrid's legal advisor and use his connections at the Ministry of Magic to solve the problem in the simplest and most efficient way: directly sentencing Buckbeak to death.
To prevent this matter from being dragged on and causing more variables.
Who knows if the big guy will appeal again if he loses this time, and who knows how much trouble he will cause.
"This should be considered an error in my judgment."
Albert generously admitted his mistake. If he had not asked Hagrid to find a legal advisor to trick Lucius's Galleon, the other party probably would not have wanted to cut the Gordian knot.
However, the plan was still effective. Lucius gave the magic consultant a bag of Galleons to make him give up his involvement in the matter and shut up about it.
However, old Malfoy didn't realize that, while he thought he had bribed Hagrid's legal advisor, he never imagined that half of the Galleons he used to bribe Hagrid's legal advisor were placed in front of Hagrid.
If Lucius Malfoy knew that he had fallen into someone else's trap, he would probably be so angry that he would go straight to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
"Is everything all right?"
Hagrid didn't care about the Galleons in his purse, but Buckbeak's life. In his heart, no matter how many Galleons he got from old Malfoy, they could not compare with Buckbeak's life.
"Don't worry, it's okay."
Albert made an OK gesture and began to tell Hagrid what he should do the day after tomorrow to completely clear his suspicion.
"Is this really okay?" Hagrid was still a little worried after hearing this.
"That's all right. If you don't make any mistakes, they'll think Buckbeak broke free of his chains and flew away," said Albert.
"So you must drink tranquilizers that day to ensure that you don't reveal any flaws. This is very important. You must not reveal any flaws." Albert repeatedly warned, "Of course, Dumbledore may be able to see some problems, but don't worry, he won't expose you easily. In fact, Dumbledore certainly doesn't want old Malfoy's conspiracy to succeed. He will be happy for you to do that."
"I believe you, and there's no better way now." Hagrid turned his head to look at Buckbeak outside the window and said, "I'll take you back to the castle."
"You should have confidence in me and yourself, Hagrid. We have been preparing for this for such a long time." Albert reached out and patted Hagrid's arm and said, "We will not fail. At least, I will not fail."
"As expected of Albert, your words are really domineering."
Just after Hagrid left, Fred, George and Lee Jordan appeared from nowhere, holding biscuits they got from the kitchen.
"This is called confidence, not arrogance," Albert corrected.
"No no, it's just domineering."
Albert was too lazy to argue with them, so he changed the subject and asked, "Did you bring my share?"
"You can have Lee Jordan's portion," George said without hesitation. "He's been losing weight lately."
"I will definitely not forget your portion, and I don't need to lose weight." Lee Jordan handed the oil paper bag to Albert and said with a smile, "If you are hungry, you can eat George's portion at the same time. I have no objection."
The four of them were joking with each other, and just as they were walking through the corridor on the third floor, they heard Malfoy's disgusting voice coming from around the corner.
The four of them looked at each other and chose to stay quiet and listen to what Malfoy wanted to do.
Maybe, they can even give each other a surprise.
Around the corner, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were confronting Malfoy and his two lackeys.
"Potter, look what this is. The Hippogriff is dead, and the Committee for the Management of Dangerous Creatures will bring the executioner to hear the appeal of the big fool the day after tomorrow!"
Malfoy threw the letter he had just received to Harry Potter and said smugly, "I will go to the appeal with my father, and guess what he will say, 'It doesn't hurt anyone, really!'"
"Shut up Malfoy."
Harry looked at the blond boy in front of him with disgust, wishing he could punch him in the nose. "You're just telling us all this, it's so boring. Get out of the way."
"Honestly, I've been looking forward to the day when I can finally have the opportunity to personally hear that big, hairy fool try to defend himself."
As soon as Malfoy showed a malicious smile, a fist hit him directly in the disgusting face.
Hermione's punch actually made Malfoy stagger two steps.
Harry, Ron, Crabbe, and Goyle were all stunned.
"You evil beast," Hermione raised her hand again and slapped Malfoy with all her might, "Does it seem so amusing to you to kill an innocent life with your own hands?"
She had already pulled out her wand from her robe pocket and pointed it at Malfoy's neck, threatening, "Believe it or not, I will turn you into a beast and let you truly experience the feeling of being a beast."
"Hermione!" Harry grabbed her hand. "He doesn't deserve that."
Malfoy was taken aback by the amazing power emanating from Hermione.
Crabbe and Goyle beside them looked at Malfoy helplessly, waiting for his instructions.
After Malfoy uttered the word "retreat", the three of them finally fled in a panic, and were finally tripped by Fred's spell, and they could only roll and crawl.
Ron looked at the three people fleeing and said in amazement, "Hermione, you scared them away."
"You were really handsome in those two moves just now."
Albert gave Hermione a thumbs up and said, "However, beating someone in public is never a good thing. And you probably haven't mastered human body transformation yet. It's best not to try it on other people, otherwise something bad will happen, and it will definitely bring you unnecessary trouble."
"That's not the question!" said Ron weakly.
"So what do you think is the problem?" Albert turned and asked Ron.
"That Malfoy brat is really annoying. No wonder someone secretly cast a Confusion Charm on him." George gloated.
"What's going on?" Harry asked curiously.
"Malfoy was cast a Confusion Charm not long ago and fell down the stairs. He was just sent to the school hospital." Fred curled his lips and said, "You dare to be so arrogant now, aren't you afraid that someone will stuff your head into the toilet and feed it to shit again?"
"Hey, I'm eating," Lee Jordan complained.
"This world is so unfair. Why would Hagrid lose to someone like that?" Hermione said angrily.
"Hermione, Hagrid hasn't lost yet. We have prepared so much information for Hagrid. As long as Hagrid is clear-headed, they will definitely not kill Buckbeak!" Ron became less and less confident as he spoke.
"My dear brother, it seems that your mind is still not clear!" Fred looked at Ron with pity and said, "Those bastards even have axes ready. Do you think Hagrid still has a chance of winning?"
"Yes, they even have the executioner ready!" Harry handed Malfoy's letter to Albert. He thought Albert might need it.
Albert reached out and patted Hermione on the shoulder, reminding her: "Anger won't solve the problem."
“But you can deal with the people who make you angry,” Fred added.
"Shut up." Albert said seriously, "Anyway, don't worry about this matter, and don't go to see Hagrid these two days."
"It makes it seem like we're just going to cause trouble," Ron muttered.
Harry and Hermione were silent.
As soon as he returned to the dormitory, Albert was surrounded by Fred, George and Lee Jordan.
"Are you planning on getting rid of Hagrid's Buckbeak?" George demanded. "We can help you with that."
"Not for now." Albert thought for a moment and said, "You can make preparations first. Maybe... I will need your help. It is not a good thing for Lucius Malfoy to come to Hogwarts."
"Forget it, I'll predict the outcome."
Albert felt that a powerful weapon should be used, and it would be best if all problems could be nipped in the bud.
"Every time I see your predictions, I feel it's incredible. Is there really no unique trick?" Fred looked at the swirling white mist and envied Albert's divination ability.
"Divination requires more talent than skill, otherwise Professor Trelawney would not be regarded as a liar by most students." Albert stared at the crystal ball, and a suitcase appeared on it.
Fred, George and Lee Jordan all looked at the cabinet next to them, where there was a suitcase of the same model.
"Why a suitcase?"
Fred opened the box and found a staircase.
He went down the stairs and found blue sky and white clouds, and even a small lawn below.
"Oh my God, how did you do that?" Lee Jordan was stunned by what he saw in the suitcase.
"Are you planning to hide Buckbeak in here?" George felt that he had guessed part of Albert's plan. Although he didn't know how Albert planned to get rid of Buckbeak, this suitcase was definitely used to hide Buckbeak.
"This is actually the product of my latest research. A box is a small world." Albert said with a smile, "I plan to leave a secret room for the Wizard Card Club after we graduate from school."
"You mean the classroom where the Defense Society meets?"
"Yes. However, that thing still needs to be improved. You can help when the time comes. Just like the robbers left behind the Marauder's Map, we will also leave behind something that belongs to us."
"That's a really great idea."
The three of them were immersed in Albert's description and completely ignored the fact that they had just said they wanted to help Albert save Buckbeak.
