Daily Life at Hogwarts

Chapter 835: My stupid sister

Views:

After dinner, Albert stayed in the living room with his family, watching TV news and chatting about simple life trivia in a foreign language.

Nia, who had just finished taking a shower, came out of the bathroom and quietly came behind Albert, who was flipping through the newspaper and chatting with Luke about oriental food. She reached over the sofa and hugged Albert's neck from behind.

"My dear brother, when will you take me to the Quidditch game?"

"My dear sister, do you want to strangle your brother to death?" Albert reached out and patted Nia's white arm, signaling her to let go.

"No, I just want to know the exact time." The girl pouted in dissatisfaction, "You know how much I look forward to the Quidditch game."

"Nia, you need to be patient," Luke said to his granddaughter. "No one knows how long a Quidditch game will last. It may be over in a few hours, or it may take a few days, or even longer."

"It is said that the longest Quidditch match lasts about three months." Albert said to Nia as he flipped through the newspaper, "So, don't worry, prepare everything you need first."

"Three months, are they crazy?" Nia felt it was unbelievable that a Quidditch game would last for three months, and how on earth did they last for three months.

"Maybe I'm crazy. Anyway, I don't really understand it, but some games do last a long time." Albert couldn't understand it either. He turned the newspaper to the Quidditch column, pointed to the table of the top 16 matches, and said to Nia, "It will take a few more days. The top 16 matches haven't ended yet. If we go there now, we can't watch the game without tickets. We can only wait in the camp."

"We can go camp first!" Nia said without hesitation. However, she seemed to realize something and quickly changed her words, "England lost to Transylvania 10 to 390. It was a terrible loss!"

In fact, Nia may not really like the so-called Quidditch game, she just wants to see the feast of wizards.

"Okay, let go of my neck first. If you strangle me to death, no one will take you to watch the Quidditch World Cup." Albert was a little helpless. Ever since he told Nia that he would take her to watch the Quidditch World Cup during the summer vacation, his sister, who seemed a little strange at first, has turned back into the clingy girl she used to be.

But the little girl back then has now grown up.

Nia let go of her hand and sat next to Albert.

"I can probably guess what you want to do when you go there." Albert looked at the expression on Nia's face and said calmly, "But I have to tell you with regret that you have to stay in the tent most of the time and are not allowed to go anywhere."

"Okay, I get it." The girl looked aggrieved.

Ever since Albert said he would take her to watch the Quidditch World Cup, Nia became a little too excited and forgot all of Albert's previous instructions and reminders.

"Good to know. If you dare to sneak out, I will have to ask Isobel to send you home immediately." Albert warned.

"Didn't you say the tickets were expensive?"

"It is very expensive, but it was given to me by someone else. I don't feel bad even if I give it to someone else. It's not my money anyway." Albert once again used his ultimate weapon, "Don't forget what I said. If you behave yourself, I can take you to visit Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry next year."

"Going to Hogwarts?" Luke was a little dazed when he heard Albert talk about going to Hogwarts.

"Well, let's go to Hogwarts." Albert explained, "The school will hold the Triwizard Tournament this year. If I can successfully become a Hogwarts warrior, before the third game, the warriors' relatives will be invited to the school to watch the finals. Then you can go to Hogwarts."

"Forget it." Luke shook his head, got up and went back to his room to rest.

Albert looked at Luke's departing back, turned back to look at his sister, and sighed softly, "In fact, sometimes I even wonder if I have done something wrong."

"What did you do wrong?" Nia asked.

"Take you to the Quidditch World Cup?"

"So, you regret it?" Nia stared at Albert.

"It's not that I regret it. I want to take you to watch the World Cup and to Hogwarts. I just don't want you to have any regrets, but I'm still a little worried..." Albert didn't want Nia to become another Harry's Aunt Petunia.

"What are you worried about?"

"I'm worried that you'll become addicted to a world that doesn't belong to you."

"I don't want you to worry about me." The expression on Nia's face became more and more strange.

"That's right." Albert said bluntly, "Because you are my sister."

"Then I should be glad that I'm your sister?"

"If you were just a stranger, I wouldn't even bother to talk to you." Albert turned off the TV and said to Nia, "Be patient, the top 16 will be over soon, and I won't let you wait too long."

"I know." Nia said with a pout.

After returning to his room, Albert began to use the crystal ball to predict what would happen at the Quidditch World Cup.

When he saw the Dark Mark in the crystal ball, there was a knock on the door and Nia pushed it open and walked in, followed by the fat cat Tom.

"Are you predicting?" Nia saw Albert sitting in front of the crystal ball. She curiously leaned over to look at the scene in the crystal ball and asked puzzledly, "What is that? It looks a bit disgusting."

"The Dark Mark."

"Dark Mark?"

"Decades ago, there was a very evil wizard who would place such a mark over the deceased's house every time he killed someone." Albert reached out and picked up Tom, saying calmly, "He liked to use this method to spread fear."

"Will someone die in the Quidditch World Cup?" Nia suddenly felt uneasy. "Will that evil wizard show up at the game?"

"It is said that he is dead or half dead." Albert scratched Tom's ear and said, "But his servants enjoy torturing ordinary people."

As he spoke, the scene inside the crystal ball changed into several ordinary people floating in the air, panicking.

Then, they turned into a group of guys with hoods on their heads and masks on their faces.

"Every one of those people had blood on their hands."

"You're scaring me again." Nia complained with a pout.

"Scare you? You think too much, my dear Nia. Why do you think I want everyone to leave Britain and seek refuge in the East?" Albert raised his hand and gently placed it on the crystal ball. The white mist once again submerged the image on the crystal ball, and a short bald man reappeared.

Of course Albert knew this Mr. 5,000 Galleons. He was able to enter Azkaban smoothly thanks to Albert's push from behind. It is said that this Mr. 5,000 Galleons has died in Azkaban prison.

"Who is he?" Nia asked doubtfully, looking at the man who appeared in the crystal ball.

"The beginning of this chaos." Albert said calmly, "He will help the evil wizard return and cause terrible chaos and turmoil to the entire British wizarding world."

"Why don't you try to stop him?" Nia was a little puzzled. If they could stop him from helping the evil wizard to return, their family wouldn't have to leave Britain.

However, just as she finished her words, she was hit hard on the head by Albert. She squatted down, covering her head with her hands in pain.

"Are you too stupid, or do you think I'm living too well?" Albert stared at the figure in the crystal ball, petting the cat and muttering to himself, "We are not the protagonists of novels, nor are we the so-called saviors. We don't have the luck to turn danger into safety, so don't try to commit suicide, or you will die. What's more, defeating the Dark Lord and saving the world should be left to the savior, don't you think, Tom?"

"Is there really a savior?" Nia couldn't help but ask.

"Of course there is." Albert looked at the crystal ball and said, "The savior, Harry Potter, you will be able to see reports about him in the newspapers this Christmas."
