"I heard that the wizard card game has been moved up?"
When Cedric saw Albert coming over, he reached into his bag and pulled out the "Defense Guide" that he had borrowed a few days ago, and handed it back to him with a smile.
"Yes, they all think that the Wizard Card Tournament should be moved up to avoid the Triwizard Tournament. I think that makes sense. In the second half of the semester, everyone will definitely pay more attention to the Triwizard Tournament, and few people will care about the Wizard Card Tournament."
"I also heard..." Cedric looked at Albert and grinned, "The champion of the wizard card competition can be your dance partner at the Christmas ball?"
"Not a dance partner." Albert noticed that the girls around him were casting curious glances at him, and immediately corrected him, "It's just a few dances at the party. It's all Fred's bad idea. He thought this would bring more popularity to the Wizard Card Club."
"What if the winner of the Wizard Card Championship is a boy?" Cedric winked and teased, "Will you have to go up and dance with the boy? I think a lot of girls would be looking forward to seeing you dancing with a boy."
"No, if the winner of the Wizard Card Championship is a boy, he will get an extra small gift." Albert said, shaking the "Defense Guide" in his hand.
"This magazine is pretty good, but it's a bit expensive." Cedric complained, "If the price could be cheaper, I would pay for a subscription myself."
"Is it expensive? I think the knowledge in it is very practical." Albert had a good opinion of Lupin. "Professor Lupin's teaching level is also quite good. In fact, he is very suitable for teaching those freshmen who are new to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Unfortunately, his identity as a werewolf means that no parents would be willing to let their children get close to him. Publishing a magazine can be regarded as a way to make use of his remaining energy."
"You are right." Cedric did learn a lot of useful knowledge from the Defense Guide. "Professor Moody is indeed more suitable for teaching advanced students."
"I think Professor Moody should teach some practical magic. The magic that Professor Lupin mentioned in the Defense Guide is very practical." Angelina borrowed the Defense Guide from Albert.
"I'm more curious, is Azkaban really like what is described in the magazine?" Shannah had read Sirius's description of Azkaban prison, which could only be described as horrific.
"I don't think Black deliberately exaggerated the situation in Azkaban." To be honest, after reading Black's description of Azkaban, Albert finally understood why Hagrid was afraid of such a place.
In that gloomy, terrifying place filled with despair, perhaps only crazy Death Eaters could survive. But it is undeniable that Azkaban prison does have a strong deterrent effect on ordinary wizards.
"We should take some time to practice the magic mentioned in the Defense Guide," George suggested. "There are a lot of very practical magic in it that we don't know how to use."
Many people looked over here. They actually hoped that Albert could continue to hold the defense association from last semester. Everyone could always learn a lot of useful things at the gathering.
"We can ask Professor Moody to spend some time teaching everyone." Albert said without hesitation, "After all, he is a professional in this field, and he must be much better than a half-baked person like me."
Although it was true, everyone could tell that it was Albert's excuse. Besides, it would be difficult to get Professor Moody to spend time teaching them the spells in the magazine.
After a while, distinctive footsteps were heard in the corridor, and Professor Moody came over with a cane. He stood in front of the classroom door, took out a key from his pocket and opened the door of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.
"Today is a practical class," Moody announced to everyone after he entered the classroom. "I will cast the Imperius Curse on each student in turn, so that everyone can experience the effects of this curse and teach you how to resist its effects."
There was an uproar in the classroom. Everyone knew that the Imperius Curse was an Unforgivable Curse and had a strong psychological resistance to it.
"Professor Dumbledore hopes that you can feel..." Professor Moody was interrupted by a weak voice before he could finish his words.
"Professor, I feel sick..." Albert suddenly said, "I'm afraid I have to go to the school hospital."
Everyone turned to look at Albert, with bewildered expressions on their faces, because they found that Albert, who was originally full of energy, had suddenly become pale, with an abnormal flush, and looked particularly haggard.
"Professor, Albert seems to have a fever. I think he has the flu." George reached out to touch Albert's forehead and said immediately, "I'll take him to the school hospital right away!"
Without waiting for Professor Moody to react, George took Albert out of the classroom.
Then, before anyone could react, he disappeared from their sight.
"That guy was fine just now, how come he suddenly has a fever?" The boy next to Cedric said, "Maybe he's afraid of being embarrassed later, so he pretended to be so!"
"He doesn't look like he's pretending." Cedric shook his head.
However, he roughly guessed the reason. Albert probably didn't want Professor Moody to use the Imperius Curse on him, so he skipped the afternoon Defense Against the Dark Arts class in this way.
Well, as long as the students in the classroom had normal brains, they would know that Albert actually didn't want Professor Moody to use the Imperius Curse on him, and was using this method to create opportunities for both parties.
As for how he did it, no one knew, but the expression on his face just now clearly did not seem fake.
At this moment, Moody was confused. He had originally planned to use this opportunity to test Albert's resistance to the Imperius Curse. However, after hearing the content of this class, the other party pretended to be sick and slipped away, not giving him any chance at all.
Anyway, when everyone saw Albert in the auditorium, he didn't look like he was sick or had a high fever.
"Albert, what method did you use in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class?" Angelina asked curiously, "It was almost like having a real high fever. How did you do it?"
"Use this." Fred mysteriously pulled out a two-colored hard candy from his robe pocket.
"What's this?"
"Quick-acting skipping candy, one of the magical candies." Fred explained in a low voice: "If you eat this candy, you will have fever symptoms. Of course, if you use it directly, it is just an ordinary candy. Even if the professor takes this thing out of your pocket and asks you to eat it, you will find that it is just an ordinary candy."
"They're quite useful. Can you give us a few?" Angelina asked expectantly. "Who knows, they might come in handy someday."
"Two quid for one," George said without hesitation.
"So expensive?" The girls' eyes widened.
"If we can improve the material formula and production tools, the price should be able to be kept down to around one Sickle. Now these are all made by hand, so it is normal that the price is relatively expensive."
Albert took out a few fever candies from his robe pocket and gave one to each of them, and reminded them, "I won't take your Sikor this time. Remember to keep it a secret. To use it, separate the candies. The part marked with N is the antidote."
"What a genius idea, who came up with this?" Sana looked at the candy in her hand.
"Fred and George," Albert changed the subject, "tell me what happened in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class."
After being diverted by Albert, the girls began to talk about interesting things that happened in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, such as Fred being controlled by Professor Moody to sing the Hogwarts school song, and Cedric dancing an elegant ballet in front of everyone, almost making everyone's jaws drop.
Anyway, none of the sixth graders could resist the spell, and they all returned to normal only after Moody removed the spell.
"What spell did Professor Moody use to remove the effects of the Imperius Curse?" Albert thought this was a bit strange.
If the Imperius Curse could really be lifted, it would not have caused such a serious impact on the British wizarding world. After all, as long as the Imperius Curse was lifted every day, the risk of contact infiltration could be completely avoided.
At least, he didn't think that all wizards were stupid and couldn't even think of this.
Albert thought that when he went to see Dumbledore in a couple of days, he could ask him about this matter. It would be even better if Dumbledore knew the principle of the thief-proof waterfall.
However, Albert suspected that Gringotts' anti-thief waterfall might be related to goblin magic, which was not in the same system as wizard magic.
