Generally speaking, Hogwarts students usually get up very late to eat breakfast on weekends.
However, today was the day for the Triwizard Tournament Warriors vote, and George woke up much earlier than usual.
When George got up from bed, he found an empty bed in the dormitory and realized that Albert might not have returned home all night.
Although this situation has happened before, Albert usually asks the three people to help feed the cat in advance. Not coming back at night without saying hello is obviously not a good sign.
George immediately woke up his two roommates.
"What are you doing so early in the morning?" Fred rubbed his eyelids and complained as he opened his eyes with difficulty.
Lee Jordan, who was in the next bed, covered his yawn with his hand, and his face showed an unconcealable sleepiness.
"Did Albert tell you that he wouldn't be coming back last night?" George reached out and touched Albert's bed and asked.
"No, don't worry, it's not the first time. He probably went out on a date with his girlfriend." Fred closed his eyes again, shrank his neck and crawled into the quilt, ready to take another nap.
"His girlfriend graduated last semester." George frowned. If Isobel was still in school, this would be very likely.
"He's probably hooking up with a new girlfriend." Fred closed his eyes and said, "He's Albert after all. If he really wants to find a girlfriend, he'll probably do it faster than you can change your clothes."
"You don't need to worry about that guy. Remember to feed his cat." Lee Jordan muttered and lay back on the bed. "If you're really worried, go to the Room of Requirement yourself."
Although he was reluctant to admit it, George knew that his worries were unnecessary. He cast his eyes on Tom, the fat cat who was napping carefree in the cat bed, shook his head, walked to the cabinet next to Albert's bed, opened the drawer, took out the box of cat food, scooped out a large spoonful of Tom's food and put it in Tom's food bowl.
After smelling the aroma of food, Tom, who was originally dozing with his eyes closed, suddenly opened his eyes, crawled out of the cat bed, lay down in the food bowl, and began to eat with a grunt.
As for where the owner went, Tom didn't care at all. As long as someone fed him on time every day, it was fine.
When the three of them went downstairs and entered the hallway, they saw a group of people gathered there, some of whom were actually eating bread.
"Has anyone put their name into the Goblet of Fire?" Fred walked up to Zanna and asked.
"All representatives from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons have submitted their names." Shannah withdrew her gaze from the Goblet of Fire and scanned Fred, George, and Lee Jordan. She frowned and asked, "Where are the Alberts?"
"I don't know." Lee Jordan suppressed a yawn and said, "I don't know where he went last night."
"If anyone of you is old enough, go and register his name!" Sana suddenly said, "lest Albert miss the registration time."
"Can someone help me sign up?" Ron asked in surprise.
"Theoretically, it should be possible. You can also stand outside the age limit and try to throw a ball of paper into the Goblet of Fire." Fred frowned and said, "But whether you can be selected is another matter."
George distributed the bread he got from the restaurant to Fred and Lee Jordan, and asked casually, "Has anyone signed up for Hogwarts?"
"Someone saw Slytherin Wallings sneak his name in early this morning," Ron replied.
"If that kind of bastard can become a warrior, Hogwarts will really be doomed." Lee Jordan said contemptuously, "I guess he is just making up the numbers."
"And there's Diggory, the pretty boy from Hufflepuff," Ron continued.
"Diggory is very good, even Albert admits this, and they are still good friends." Angelina actually smiled foolishly, "The point is that Diggory is also handsome."
"I thought you liked Albert better," Lee Jordan said sharply.
"The girls all like Albert, but he has a girlfriend."
"Digory has a girlfriend too," Lee Jordan said without hesitation.
"Who?" Angelina asked.
"A girl from Ravenclaw, take your time to guess." Lee Jordan continued to ask, "Who else?"
"Roger Davis of Ravenclaw also threw his name in just now." Ron asked puzzledly.
"Has Albert signed up?" Hermione asked, frowning.
"No, he disappeared last night and didn't return to the dormitory. We can't find him now."
"I think someone wants him to participate in the Triwizard Tournament." Shanna said to George, "You'd better sign him up in advance, so that he won't miss the Champion Selection."
The three of them looked at each other, and after some discussion, they finally decided to wait until the afternoon. If Albert still didn't show up, they would find a way to help Albert sign up first.
At lunch time, Albert still didn't show up, as if he had disappeared out of thin air.
"I heard that Ravenclaw's prefect Katrina is also missing. She didn't even go back to the dormitory to rest last night." Shanna brought them explosive news. "Some people said Katrina seemed to want to use a love potion on Anderson to snatch her away from her sister. Many Ravenclaw girls are discussing this matter."
After saying that, Sana glared at Fred and George. It was obvious where Katrina got the love potion from.
"Do you really think Katrina would do that?" Fred frowned. "I remember Katrina did buy a bottle of love potion from us."
"That shouldn't be possible. Albert himself is a potion expert and is very wary of potions. Moreover, she carries the antidote for the love potion with her." George shook his head and said, "I think this is more like a smokescreen."
"It depends on who we are alert to," Lee Jordan said with a beaming face. "Maybe Albert wanted to seduce the sisters, so... maybe he deliberately took Katrina's love potion."
"It's unlikely. I'd rather believe that Albert is hiding himself and preparing to amuse everyone." George shook his head. Lee Jordan's words were just a joke. If Albert was really a playboy, he would have been surrounded by a bunch of beautiful girls. Why did he have to wait until now
"I think someone ambushed them while they were talking, knocked them out temporarily and hid them," Fred speculated.
"Do you believe this?"
"Anyway, let's find a way to sign Albert up first." George lowered his voice and said, "Actually, I think this matter is quite suspicious."
"How?"
Looking at the parchment with Albert Anderson - Hogwarts written on it, the three of them got together to discuss and decided to take the first approach. Since they had also made an aging potion, they might as well give it a try!
"Who drinks?" George asked.
"Let's go together. This is a rare opportunity." Fred took the aging agent.
"Don't drink too much, we just need to grow a few more months." George reminded, "One or two drops will be enough."
"Together!" After Fred took the aging potion, he handed it to George. "When Albert wins the championship, we must let him treat us to a big meal."
"Want to join us?" George handed the potion to Lee Jordan.
"I'll just forget it. I won't steal your limelight." Li Qiaodan shrugged and refused. He always felt that aging agents were unreliable.
"I'll leave the registration to you." Lee Jordan handed over the note with Albert's name on it.
"If you succeed, the aging agent will surely sell like hot cakes." Fred and George walked towards the edge of the golden age line arm in arm.
"I'm sure Dumbledore will have considered this." Hermione was not optimistic about the twins using this method to sign up, and as if to verify Hermione's words, when the Weasley twins raised their feet to step into the golden wire, they saw them flying backwards and falling painfully on the marble floor ten feet away.
Not only that, but both men also had white beards growing on their chins.
"What the hell are you doing?" Professor Moody walked out of the auditorium, bent down to pick up the parchment on the ground and said, "You want to sign up for Anderson?"
"Albert went out last night and no one knows where he is now. We suspect someone is trying to stop him from signing up for the Triwizard Tournament, so we want to sign him up to prevent him from missing the registration time." Lee Jordan hurried over to help Fred and George up, looked at Professor Moody and said, "Professor, can you help throw the note into the Goblet of Fire? You know, Albert was originally planning to participate in the competition."
"Stop it, who wants to stop it? Who does he think he is? Does he really think he is a warrior?" A senior Slytherin student sneered, "I think Anderson is just afraid that he can't be elected as a warrior, so he found an excuse to hide."
"Wallings, even if Albert didn't sign up in the end, you wouldn't be the champion of Hogwarts." Lee Jordan said contemptuously.
Wallins seemed like he was still ready to say something, but Moody gave him a hard look and he shut up.
"I'll take care of this. Apparently there's a despicable guy trying to stop Hogwarts from winning the championship. I have to go find Dumbledore." Moody stomped into the hall with the note. At this moment, Moody looked very angry on the surface, but in fact he was in a good mood. The disappearance of the mudblood meant that his plan had succeeded.
"Even Professor Moody thinks Albert can help Hogwarts win the championship. As for you..." Lee Jordan gave Wallings a rough slap, and Fred and George went to the school hospital.
“This is indeed a bit strange!”
On the way to the school hospital, Fred stroked his beard and said, "With Albert's vigilance, he will definitely not fall for it easily. Last night..."
"Katrina seemed to call him for something." Lee Jordan reminded.
"There's no reason for her to do that!" George shook his head, "Unless she is being controlled."
"The Imperius Curse?" the three said in unison.
"Professor Moody?"
"It's very likely that if he was an imposter, he would definitely not help Albert register." George speculated, "If Professor Moody really thinks highly of Albert, he should have directly thrown the note into the Goblet of Fire to help him register instead of going to Dumbledore, because Moody must know that Dumbledore would not allow such a thing to happen."
"Then what should we do?" Li Jordan asked with a frown.
"You can go find Angelina. She had her birthday a while ago, and you can ask her to help Albert sign up." Fred suggested.
"It's the only way."
When they entered the school hospital, they saw several students with white beards waiting for treatment. Lee Jordan found that two of them were girls, and growing beards might be a punishment from Dumbledore.
"I'm afraid you'll have to stay here for a while. The potion to remove your beards will take some time to boil." Madam Pomfrey was not happy to see two more students with white beards. "I hope Professor Snape has enough potions."
Fred and George suddenly had a bad feeling. They soon noticed the hostile looks from the white-bearded old men next to them. It was obvious that these people had drunk the aging drugs they were selling and became what they were now.
Lee Jordan quietly distanced himself from the two men to avoid being innocently affected.
When they were cured and left the school hospital, Fred, George and Lee Jordan were blocked outside the school hospital by a group of people and beaten up.
"Why do I have to suffer the same misfortune?" Lee Jordan applied anti-swelling ointment to himself angrily and complained about the misfortune he had suffered.
"That's nice," Fred said with a smile.
"Stop messing around. Go ask Albert if he has registered. If you still can't find him, let Angelina help Albert register." George said as he quickly walked towards the hallway.
"What if he becomes a warrior but disappears?" Lee Jordan suddenly asked, "Don't forget Professor Dumbledore's warning."
The three of them stopped and remained silent.
"I don't think Albert would disappear inexplicably." George said firmly, "You go find Angelina, and we'll go find Professor McGonagall to discuss countermeasures."
"Do you really want to do this?"
"It's better to ask the professor for help with this kind of thing. I always feel that this matter is a bit unusual. Obviously, someone doesn't want Albert to become a warrior." George said affirmatively.
After the three reached a consensus, they immediately took action separately.
When Fred and George knocked on Professor McGonagall's office, they found that Professor Moody was also there.
"What's the matter, Mr. Weasley?" Professor McGonagall looked at Fred and George in confusion.
"Professor, Albert seems to be missing, and we suspect..." George was interrupted by Professor McGonagall before he could finish his words.
"I already know about this." Professor McGonagall looked at the Weasley twins and asked, "Do you want to sign him up?"
"Yes, Albert certainly wouldn't want to miss the Triwizard Tournament because of something like this." Fred said affirmatively.
"Sorry, we can't do that. We should find Anderson first instead of worrying about the registration." Professor McGonagall obviously did not agree with their approach. In her opinion, Albert's safety was obviously much more important than the damn Triwizard Tournament. It was just a competition, and if they lost, they lost.
