Fred and George walked out of Professor McGonagall's office with gloomy faces. It's not that they couldn't understand Professor McGonagall's decision, and they didn't want anything to happen to Albert, but they were a little annoyed by Professor McGonagall's rigidity. Albert certainly didn't want to miss the Triwizard Tournament because of some people's conspiracy.
"What now?" Fred asked.
"We can only hope that Lee Jordan can ask Angelina to vote for Albert." George didn't have any better ideas.
"I'm afraid not." Professor Moody's voice came from behind the two of them.
The two looked back in confusion at Professor Moody, who had just walked out of Professor McGonagall's office.
"It's useless. There's no point in asking others to help vote, otherwise I would have thrown his name in long ago." Professor Moody said while leaning on his crutches.
"What do you mean?" George asked, frowning.
"Dumbledore mentioned it last night. Whoever casts his name into the Goblet of Fire actually forms a magical contract with the Goblet of Fire. Asking others to help vote is likely to be meaningless because the wizards who voted will not match the names on the contract. Dumbledore is probably the only one who knows the specific situation. He is also the only one who can easily conceal the Goblet of Fire and help Albert become a champion of Hogwarts." Professor Moody's tone sounded a little annoyed, "But he obviously doesn't intend to do that. And are you sure Albert is really missing? Have you looked for him anywhere else?"
"We've looked everywhere, but still can't find anyone." George said first.
"This is troublesome." Professor Moody walked away with a mutter, "I'll think of other ways."
"Do you think Professor Moody is pretending?" After Professor Moody left, Fred asked his companions with a frown.
"I don't know, but since Albert thinks he's a fake, we'd better be more careful." George reminded, "Albert's guess is very accurate."
"So, you were just pretending just now." Fred raised his eyebrows and looked at his brother.
"I just wanted to see how Professor Moody would react." George lowered his voice and said, "I think this is very strange."
"It's strange. Are you talking about Albert's disappearance?" Fred indeed felt that there was something strange about this matter.
"Yeah." George nodded and said, "With Albert's ability and the training he has received some time ago, the probability of him being knocked unconscious by a surprise attack is not high."
"You think he's hiding himself?" Fred asked.
"It's hard to say right now. We can only trust Albert." George couldn't think of a better solution. "However, we should still let Angelina sign up for Albert. Even if we don't know if it will work, we have to give it a try."
"That's all we can do."
Albert, who was missed by the Weasley twins, was now sitting on the sofa in the Room of Requirement, drinking tea and eating snacks while teaching Katrina how to block the brain.
"Don't worry. I don't expect you to master the art of brain block in one day. That's unrealistic." Albert said gently, "It took me a long time to master it completely."
"Is Isobel very good at Legilimency? Many times I feel that she can easily see through other people's minds." Katrina asked with a frown while enjoying the pastries on the plate.
"Don't worry, Isobel won't easily pry into other people's thoughts." Albert comforted, "Besides, she actually cares about you a lot."
Katrina didn't respond, but asked, "How long do you plan to stay here?"
"After the Halloween party." Albert took a sip of milk tea and said calmly, "So, we have to dine here tonight."
"Aren't you planning on participating in the Triwizard Tournament?" Katrina couldn't understand Albert's thoughts. "Or did you already know the results of the Warrior Selection and secretly sign up?"
Albert smiled but said nothing.
"Forget it, just pretend I didn't ask." Katrina propped her chin up with her hand, looking at the rain falling outside the window. Suddenly she turned her head and looked at Albert and said, "Let's continue practicing. I hope to master the brain-blocking spell as soon as possible."
Katrina hated the feeling of being seen through.
"Don't be impatient. You need to be prepared. That way you can get twice the result with half the effort."
It was raining outside the window, and the two people inside were talking. Katrina didn't hate this feeling. To some extent, the love potion was effective, allowing them to spend a long time here, just for the two of them.
Because of the rain outside, the sky darkened faster than usual. The delegations from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons arrived at the castle before it was completely dark.
After seeing the Goblet of Fire being moved away, the faces of the three people were not very good. Albert did not show up in the end. This incident undoubtedly alarmed the Gryffindor students. Many people believed that someone did not want Albert to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, so they made him disappear during the Warriors Selection. As for being afraid to participate in the Triwizard Tournament
This is obviously impossible. Anyone who dares to make sarcastic remarks in a sarcastic tone has to ask the girls whether they agree or not.
Because even Professor Moody acknowledged Albert's ability and believed that he could win the Triwizard Cup for Hogwarts. How could such a person be afraid of the Triwizard Tournament
Soon conspiracy theories became popular. Some said that Slytherin students attacked Albert because a large number of Slytherin students did not like Albert. Others said that Durmstrang did it because once Albert participated in the Triwizard Tournament, their players would never have the chance to win the championship.
The Halloween dinner started with such discussions.
Maybe it was because of the Halloween dinner, but today's dishes were more sumptuous than yesterday's. However, Fred, George, and Lee Jordan were in no mood to eat because Amber still hadn't shown up.
"Don't worry, Angelina has already signed up for Albert." George comforted himself, but he still glanced at the door of the auditorium from time to time, expecting that the door would suddenly be pushed open and Albert would appear in front of them. They also chose a position close to the entrance of the auditorium to make room for Albert.
Compared to them, other students in the auditorium were equally anxious. Some of them were even fidgeting, wishing the dinner would end quickly.
After the food on the golden plate disappeared, the noise in the auditorium suddenly became much louder. Everyone was eager to know who would be chosen as the warrior.
Amid the students' expectant gazes, Dumbledore finally stood up.
"Later, after the names of the champions are announced, I want them to go into the room next door, where they will receive initial instruction." Dumbledore pointed to the door behind the staff desk.
He waved his wand, and the candles suspended above everyone's heads went out one after another. The hall suddenly became dark, and the blue-white flame of the Goblet of Fire shone dazzlingly in front of everyone.
Everyone stared at the Goblet of Fire and waited patiently.
Everyone didn't have to wait too long. The blue and white flame in the Goblet of Fire suddenly turned into a dazzling red. The flame shot up high and sparks flew everywhere.
Everyone in the auditorium held their breath.
A piece of burnt parchment flew out from the flames and was caught by a hand.
"The first champion of Durmstrang," Dumbledore held up the parchment from a distance, using the light from the fire beside him to clearly see the words on the parchment, "is Viktor Krum."
Instantly, applause and cheers filled the entire auditorium, as people cheered for Viktor Krum to become a warrior of Durmstrang.
Viktor Krum himself did not seem too surprised, and listlessly stood up from his seat, walked along the staff table, and went into the next room to rest.
After the applause and conversations gradually died down, people once again turned their eyes to the Goblet of Fire. This time they didn't have to wait too long, as a second piece of parchment was spit out from the Goblet of Fire.
"The champion of Beauxbatons," Dumbledore announced again, "is Fleur Delacour!"
Next, it was up to the Gryffindor warriors.
"It's finally over." Professor Moody stared at the Goblet of Fire in front of him, a faint smile on his face.
As long as Dumbledore announced the champion of Hogwarts, that troublesome guy would be completely out of the game, and all that was left was to help Harry win the championship.
"The Champion of Hogwarts," cried Dumbledore, who had already seized the third piece of parchment, "is Albert Anderson."
The auditorium erupted in deafening cheers, with a large number of students cheering for Albert's election as a warrior.
The moment Dumbledore announced the Hogwarts Warrior, Moody seemed to be stunned. He could not believe his ears.
How come Albert Anderson became a Hogwarts champion
At this moment, Moody even wanted to rush up and snatch the parchment from Dumbledore's hand to see if he had read the name wrong.
"Mr. Albert Anderson!" Dumbledore frowned and looked around, then shouted again, "Albert, please come here!"
However, no one responded, as if the warrior named Albert Anderson was not in the auditorium.
In fact, he was not in the auditorium either.
Professor McGonagall glared at Moody fiercely. She suspected that the old Auror next to her had secretly signed up for Albert.
But now is not the time to think about these things. Professor McGonagall stood up from the guest of honor seat, walked to Professor Dumbledore and whispered anxiously in his ear. Dumbledore listened attentively and frowned slightly.
He is missing
Dumbledore actually knew about this, and Moody even came to him for it, but now was not the time to discuss who would put his name into the Goblet of Fire, but how to deal with this matter.
The buzz of discussion grew louder and louder, and the hall was in an uproar, because all the students of Hogwarts had discovered that their warrior was missing.
