Chapter 884: A braggart

The two turned their heads and looked in the direction where the sound came from, only to see a group of men and women who were dressed differently from others walking towards them.

Yanila's eyes fell on the hands of Albert and Isobel. She raised her head and looked up and down at the red-haired girl in front of her who was suspected to be Albert's girlfriend. Although she was not as beautiful as herself, she was also a woman with outstanding appearance.

"Your friend?"

Isobel noticed the other person's scrutiny of her, but she was not annoyed. Instead, she gently turned her head and asked her boyfriend beside her. Her tone sounded as if she was asking Albert if he knew the girl next door.

"A friend I met when I went to Spain during the summer vacation." Albert always felt that the atmosphere around him was not good.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. I hope this place will leave you with good memories." Isobel stared into Yanila's eyes and said with a smile.

Yanila suddenly frowned. Although the person in front of her was smiling, she always had a bad feeling. Why did she feel like she was seen through

"Okay, let's not crowd here and talk. It will disturb other people's business. The weather is a bit cold. Do you want to go in and have a drink?" Albert invited them into the pub.

Yanila followed the two men straight into the bar. Her family ran a bar, and she was also curious about what British bars looked like.

"We'll go in too."

Furong was very dissatisfied with Yanila's unauthorized actions, but she wanted to see Yanila's embarrassed look, so she invited others to go into the bar.

After entering the Three Broomsticks, Albert saw many familiar faces. Fred, George and Lee Jordan were huddled together and whispering.

When Cedric saw Albert, he raised his glass and greeted him.

The originally noisy bar gradually became quiet. The girls who were talking in low voices gradually quieted down after seeing Albert. They all turned their heads to look over, and their eyes fell on Isobel beside Albert. Soon, a look of loss that could not be concealed appeared on their faces.

Everyone's attention was soon attracted by the Beauxbatons students who appeared at the door, especially Fleur, who caused a great commotion and made the boys in the tavern behave particularly strangely. These guys actually began to tidy up their appearance subconsciously, and some of them even accidentally knocked over their drinks, but still smiled foolishly at Fleur.

Yanila sat down next to Albert, Fleur took her sister Gabrielle and sat down at Albert's table as well, and the other Beauxbatons students could only stare blankly and sit down at another table farther away.

"What would you like to drink?"

Albert felt that the atmosphere in the bar had become very strange, as if all the customers were looking at this side.

"Same as you." Yanila said with a smile.

"What about you?" Albert asked the Delacour sisters.

Gabrielle, who was looking at the tavern with interest, heard Albert's words and said in a sweet voice: "It would be great if my sister and I could be like my big brother."

"Butterbeer then."

Albert stood up and walked towards the bar, and inadvertently caught a glimpse of Fred, George and Lee Jordan grinning at him.

"Those are VIPs, right?" Ms. Rosmerta looked at the new faces with interest.

"They are all students of Beauxbatons School of Magic." Albert introduced briefly.

Rosmerta looked at the two charming girls, winked at Albert and said, "You have a lot of friends."

"Five butterbeers." Albert didn't respond.

Suddenly there was a sound of something falling to the ground in the bar. Apparently someone accidentally knocked over a wine glass on the table.

Ms. Rosmerta placed five mugs of warm butterbeer in front of Albert, glanced at the fallen glasses, and said in a reproachful tone: "Your charming friend has increased my workload."

"I'm sorry, ma'am," Albert said helplessly. He paid the bill, took out his wand and waved it lightly, causing five cups of butterbeer to float up and follow him.

"This is a sweet beer with a toffee flavor. You should like it." Albert put a glass of butter beer in front of Gabrielle, and then distributed the remaining butter beer to others.

Gabrielle held the cup with both hands, took a sip, and said with a smile, "It tastes good. Thank you, big brother."

"It tastes good, but I prefer fruit wine." Yanila took a sip of butter beer and commented simply: "However, this thing is indeed more suitable for drinking in winter."

Furong didn't touch the butter beer in front of her, but looked around the Three Broomsticks and said in a critical tone: "I don't like this kind of small bar. It's too small and crowded, and the drinks are very average."

"It's not that you don't like small bars, it's that you don't like bars. No matter which country, the bars are actually the same as here, except that they are a little bigger. I dare say that Barnabus Bar is definitely one of the best in the whole of Europe, but you still don't think highly of it." Yanila said sarcastically, "As far as I know, there are no luxurious bars on the wizard street in France."

Furong snorted in dissatisfaction. She really didn't like bars, and she disliked other people's lustful eyes even more.

The sound of a photo suddenly came from not far away. Everyone turned their heads to look in the direction of the sound, only to see the photographer next to Rita Skeeter holding a large black camera that was smoking slightly and taking pictures in this direction.

After looking around the bar, Rita Skeeter also cast an interested look in this direction, as if she wanted to make a fuss about Albert.

Before the pot-bellied photographer could take another picture, he seemed to trip over something and fell to the ground with a cry of "ouch". Even the expensive-looking camera fell to the ground, and it was unknown whether it was broken or not.

There were some sporadic low laughter around. Rita Skeeter and her photographer Zo were obviously not welcome here, and the girls did not hide their gloating.

"Reporters are always annoying. They often fabricate specious things without any scruples." Yanila did not hide her disgust for reporters and whispered, "I read her report. It was almost all about the savior boy named Harry Potter. Albert's name was not even mentioned, and Fleur's name was misspelled."

Furong snorted lightly to express her dissatisfaction.

There was a commotion at the door, and Rita Skeeter, who was about to leave, met the person she was looking for at the door of the bar.

Rita Skeeter reached out to pull Harry, hoping to interview him again, but Harry dodged her nimbly, and before she knew it, Rita Skeeter fell to the ground in a mess.

The bar suddenly fell into silence, and then burst into laughter. The girls who hated Rita Skeeter unscrupulously attacked the woman they hated.

"Be careful when you go in, the ground here seems to be very slippery." Harry muttered, pretending that he didn't see Rita Skeeter fall, and walked into the bar.

A woman like Rita Skeeter was better off being ignored.

Hermione glanced at Harry with the corner of her eye, her eyebrows slightly raised, with a faint smile on the corner of her mouth. She also disliked Rita Skeeter, who had caused her a lot of trouble by talking nonsense in the newspaper a while ago.

It was obvious that the other party had no good intentions in looking for Harry.

Hermione just didn't want Harry to solve the problem in this way.

Albert was also surprised by Harry's behavior. He could naturally see that Rita Skeeter's fall was not an accident, but someone secretly cast a spell on her, causing her to fall.

Albert never thought that his previous words would make Harry Potter completely let himself go.

"Albert, are you ready?" Yanila's voice drew Albert's attention back, "I remember that you will start the first project on the 24th."

"I'm actually looking forward to the content of the first project." Albert said with a smile, "I wonder what surprises the Ministry of Magic will prepare for us."

"Surprise?" Furong's voice was slightly higher. "Many people have died in the Triwizard Tournament throughout the ages."

"That's normal, isn't it?"

"Normal?"

"No, I think you're abnormal." Furong looked at Albert with a strange look.

"The Triwizard Tournament tests warriors in many different aspects, including their magical talents, advantages, courage, theories, reasoning skills, and ability to overcome danger." Albert paused and said, "These are just nice words. This competition is notorious in history. It is said that every event is very difficult. If safety measures are not taken, it is normal for warriors to lose their lives in the competition. Take the event of the Triwizard Tournament in 1792, for example. The warriors had to catch a chicken-bodied snake-tailed monster. Do you think you can really subdue and catch a chicken-bodied snake-tailed monster without any preparation?"

"If there is really danger," Isobel said, holding Albert's hand, "I hope you can make protecting your own safety your first priority. Other things are not that important."

"I think your worries are unnecessary. With Albert's ability, he can easily pass the first event." Yanila glanced at Furong and continued, "Now everyone says that Albert will win the championship, even Maxim thinks so."

"Isobel is referring to the risks behind this game." Albert explained for Isobel. "Risks behind?" Furong's tone was a little strange, "Is there something about this game that we don't know?"

"He obviously means there are four warriors." Yanila's brain worked very well. "I think it's problematic for that 'Harry Potter' to be called the savior. I think you all know what this title means."

Fleur looked up at where Harry was sitting and her eyes met Ron's, causing him to panic and knock over the butterbeer on the table.

"Porter is a very amazing person. He causes some trouble every year, and it is never a small thing. This year, I think you can't guess that he became the fourth Warrior inexplicably.

"Wasn't this something that Hogwarts did?" Fleur sneered, "To increase their chances of winning?"

"You actually believe such things." Yanila looked at Furong as if she were an idiot.

"Cheating is actually very common in competitions between schools, and it is even part of the tradition of the Triwizard Tournament." Isobel took a sip of butter beer and lowered her voice, "So, you don't have to worry too much about it. I think the headmaster of Beauxbatons will definitely find a way to help you cheat, and the headmaster of Durmstrang will definitely help their warriors cheat."

Fleur didn't expect to hear such words from someone else, and she herself was actually unwilling to believe it because Madame Maxime had no intention of helping her cheat so far.

"Don't be surprised. I encountered this situation when I participated in the Magic School Potions Championship with Isobel. All the contestants were cheating. The whole game was like a joke." Albert did not hide his contempt and disdain. "So, you don't have to care about the Triwizard Tournament. The so-called honor is a joke. It is more important to protect your own safety, especially in this unusual Triwizard Tournament. With Potter's participation, I am sure something will definitely happen in the Triwizard Tournament."

"So, you're saying that no one else can possibly take the title of the Triwizard Tournament away from you?" Furong didn't like this feeling.

"I never said that." Albert shrugged.

"Can big brother catch the fire dragon?" Gabrielle asked curiously.

"I haven't tried it." Albert thought for a moment and said, "But if we seize the opportunity, it should be no problem. The only troublesome thing is that the fire dragon can fly. Once it flies, basically we can only shoot it down."

"Can you really do that?" Gabrielle asked in admiration.

"Don't be silly, Gabrielle. That guy is just bragging." Furong naturally knew how difficult fire dragons were to deal with. "From what I know, ancient magic is permeated in the thick skin of fire dragons. Only the most powerful spells can penetrate and harm them."

"Magic may be troublesome, but we can use physical methods." Albert said, "Besides, they always have their own weaknesses. As long as we target their weaknesses, it is easy to seriously injure them."

"What is the fire dragon's weakness?" Gabrielle asked curiously.

"The dragon's eyelids are very fragile," said Albert.

"You're just talking big." Furong said disdainfully. She admitted that Albert was very powerful, but she didn't think he could fight a fire dragon alone, let alone subdue them. Even dragon trainers would need seven or eight wizards to work together to subdue a fire dragon.

"I believe you are not bragging. I believe you have the ability to subdue the fire dragon." Yanila said softly.

"You are always so popular with the girls." Isobel said with a smile, "It seems that I am really a lucky guy."

"Ahem, you're not. I'm the lucky Albert." Albert ended the topic forcefully and said to the other girls at the table, "We have something else to do, so we'll leave first. See you later."

"I hate that hypocritical woman." Yanila muttered softly after Albert and Isobel left.

"You make it sound like you're not hypocritical." Furong sneered, "Give up, their relationship has always been good, you don't have any hope."
