Late at night, a strange guest in a black cloak appeared out of nowhere outside the village of Little Hangleton.
With the help of the dim moonlight in the sky, one can vaguely see the familiar face under the hood. Peter Pettigrew, the former recipient of the Order of Merlin and currently a fugitive wanted by the entire Ministry of Magic, is looking around cautiously, and after making sure that no one is following him, he sneaks into "Riddle House".
About half a year ago, Frank, the gardener of "Riddle Mansion", disappeared here inexplicably without leaving any trace, just as strange as the natural death of the Riddle family at home half a century ago.
After the gardener Frank disappeared, no one was willing to step into the "cursed" "Riddle House".
"Owner?"
Peter Pettigrew used his wand to open the door of "Riddle House", sneaked into the dark room with a creaking sound, and called out to the Dark Lord in a low voice.
This was the only place Peter could imagine Voldemort might come to. As for returning to the Albanian forest, he thought that possibility was unlikely. After all, the Dark Lord's most loyal servants were still there, and he could definitely make a comeback.
Peter Pettigrew walked around the house and still couldn't find any trace of the Dark Lord. When he was considering whether to continue killing or flee from England, a cold, hoarse, emotionless voice suddenly sounded behind him: "Wormtail, I thought you had escaped."
"Master, I have always been loyal to you." Peter Pettigrew bowed his head respectfully.
"You're just a coward."
In fact, Voldemort was very excited when he saw Peter Pettigrew. He thought Dumbledore had destroyed everything he had carefully prepared.
Once all helpers are lost, it will probably take a long time to restore the body.
However, Peter Pettigrew always lied, which made him feel inexplicably disgusted. No one likes others to lie to them, not even Voldemort.
"You would never come here if you had somewhere else to go."
Voldemort was actually right, Peter Pettigrew really had nowhere to go.
The Ministry of Magic is now like crazy, searching for his whereabouts everywhere, as if they are determined to find him even if he is hiding in a rat's nest.
If Peter continued to hide as a mouse, the Ministry of Magic would never find him, but that was not the life Peter wanted. He had lived as a mouse for twelve years and he didn't want to live that kind of life anymore.
So, he came back.
In Peter's view, Voldemort had only encountered a minor setback, and with his help he had a great chance of making a comeback.
After all, Crouch Sr. had been killed by him, and there was little chance that Crouch Jr. would be exposed. Even if Crouch Jr. was exposed, he was still confident that he could help Voldemort restore his body as long as Voldemort no longer worried about using Harry Potter's blood to resurrect himself.
"Master, what are your plans now? Do you want to create a new body?" Peter changed the subject carefully and showed Voldemort his own value. "If the master can get his original power back, there is no need to worry about Dumbledore's problem at all."
"What's the situation outside now?" Voldemort asked expressionlessly.
Although Dumbledore was extremely angry about Nagini being killed, it was obviously not the time to be so angry that he lost his mind.
"The Ministry of Magic has blocked all news about you. They don't seem to want others to know that you are back. The Ministry of Magic is now making a big report about my killing of old Barty, and the Aurors are still searching for my whereabouts outside." Peter secretly boasted to Voldemort about his achievements and contributions.
"You killed old Barty?" Voldemort was a little surprised.
"Yes, when the master led Dumbledore away, I ambushed Bagman who took Barty away, and it took a lot of effort to kill Barty. I know that the master certainly does not want the matter of Barty Crouch Jr. to be exposed and affect the next plan." Although Peter's tone sounded respectful, his words were all about telling Voldemort about his own achievements.
Voldemort stared at Peter for a long moment, then said slowly, "You did very well."
He temporarily gave up punishing the servant in front of him.
In fact, Voldemort couldn't do it now, at least not until he regained his strength.
"Help me to have a physical body first and continue with the previous plan. I must take back my own power as soon as possible." Voldemort said expressionlessly: "Then we will go and settle the account with Dumbledore last time."
"Yes, Master, but I'm afraid we have to collect the herbs again." Peter Pettigrew felt annoyed when he talked about this. Because Dumbledore had attacked their base, everything inside was swept away. Although they didn't have to return to .asxs. overnight, the situation was indeed not good.
What's more important is Barty Jr. Without them providing the raw materials for brewing the compound potion, Peter doubts that Barty Jr.'s compound potion will not last long.
"Send a message to Batty, asking him to hide himself and retreat if he can't."
Voldemort was still very satisfied with that loyal servant. At least he was more reliable than Wormtail in front of him. He didn't want to lose this loyal and reliable servant.
What's more, we are short-staffed now.
"Before that, we must leave Britain. I think even if the Ministry of Magic is stupid, after finding the herbs from the Crouch family, they will definitely keep an eye on the flow of those herbs. It will be difficult for us to get them in Britain." Voldemort continued to arrange the next plan. When Peter Pettigrew went out to pass the message to Barty Jr., Voldemort began to silently think about Dumbledore's murder of Nagini.
Voldemort soon discovered that this was probably because of him. If he hadn't shown that Nagini was important, if he hadn't let Nagini leave first, maybe Dumbledore wouldn't have noticed its existence, or at least wouldn't have chased Nagini in the first place.
Voldemort was not sure whether Dumbledore had discovered the secret of the Horcruxes, but he subconsciously believed that Dumbledore did not know.
However, Voldemort knew very well that even if Dumbledore didn't know, he should have started investigating. Even if he knew that he made Horcruxes, he probably didn't know what he used to make the Horcruxes, let alone find the hidden location of the Horcruxes.
Yes, how could Dumbledore know where Voldemort would hide the Horcruxes
Voldemort decided to make sure the Horcrux was safe when he regained his physical body.
Before that, he must first take back his own power, recall the Death Eaters, and make himself stronger. Voldemort will never allow the humiliation of being killed by them to happen again.
However, Voldemort didn't know that there were two other creatures in this world, one was called spoiler dog, and the other was called cheat dog. When spoiler dog, cheat dog and rare prophet were combined, some shocking and magical changes would occur.
