Chapter 938: The Four Great Bodhisattvas

After a while, Pu Xian looked up to the sky and sighed: "Everything in the world is determined by time and destiny. We are convinced to lose."

Manjusri also sighed, of course they still have the strength to fight, but so what, Shen Lian has such incredible abilities and is already invincible.

The Great Sun Tathagata looked dejected. He did not dare to take action thousands of years ago. It has long been an unsolved knot in his heart. But now, not only can this knot not be solved, it will become a lifelong nightmare for him.

If I had known this, I would have regretted it.

Shen Lian stood on a leaf of the Dragon Flower Treasure Tree, swaying in the wind. Just now he was facing an unparalleled powerhouse among the three major Buddhist sects alone. He could not take it lightly, but with the skills of the three of them, they still could not force Shen Lian out of the world. The method of refining the bottom of the box.

Whether it was joy or disappointment, only he himself knew.

He faced the void, but he seemed to be overlooking the three great Buddhist saints at different times, affecting their Qi.

Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and the Great Sun Tathagata all had a thought in their minds at the same time—seeing the Tathagata incomprehensibly.

At this time, they couldn't tell whether Shen Lian was visible or invisible.

Manjusri's voice was like the crisp sound of Buddhist beads, gentle and clear, reaching the position where Shen Lian was, "Since the Lord of Heaven has already surpassed us, what else do you want?"

Shen Lian didn't even raise his head, and chuckled: "Fellow Manjusri, are you afraid that I will have to meet you to the death?"

Manjusri said solemnly: "I am not afraid of death."

Shen Lian chuckled again and said calmly: "Back then, the Buddha consecrated the four great Bodhisattvas, which represented earth, fire, water, and wind, and were also footnotes for attainment, abiding, and destruction of space. Now I have seen all four great Bodhisattvas. Yes, but I want to know how powerful it will be for the four great Bodhisattvas to join forces to deal with one person, so let’s go.”

Manjusri and Puxian couldn't help but look at each other. They didn't expect that Shen Lian didn't have the intention to kill them all. They were ready to fight to the death, but at this time they hesitated. It wasn't because they were alive, but because Shen Lian mentioned the four great Bodhisattvas, which taught them a glimmer of hope in dealing with Shen Lian, an invincible being.

Each of the four bodhisattvas has a symbol, which respectively represents the main elements of the universe in the four Buddhist teachings of earth, fire, water, and wind. If the four of them join forces, with the current realm of Ksitigarbha's Hunyuan Wuji, it is almost possible to use that mysterious connection to exert the four elements. A Hunyuan Wuji level of combat power emerged.

At that time, even if Shen Lian saw the Bodhi tree and gained some enlightenment, it would be impossible for him to resist the four Hunyuan Wuji with the power of one person.

This is currently the only method that Buddhism can use to punish Shen Lian, who is almost the strongest person in ancient and modern times, but it was Shen Lian who reminded them.

Whether he thinks too highly of himself or whether he has a trump card, even Manjusri's wisdom couldn't figure it out for a while.

But Samantabhadra was brave and fearless and made a great decision, saying: "Fellow Manjusri, Buddha, let's go."

The Great Sun Tathagata said: "The Lord of Heaven promised to let the two Taoist brothers go, but he didn't say to let me go."

He didn't believe that Shen Lian would be so kind, so he asked questions and continued to test Shen Lian's mind.

Shen Lian said: "Since I can save Buddha once, I can naturally let you go once."

Manjusri also woke up with a start. He had no time to appreciate Samantabhadra's decision and immediately said: "Buddha, since the Lord of Heaven said so, let's go. A defeated general cannot be brave enough."

At this stage, they have already seen their own hearts and penetrated the surface. Manjusri had already realized the great significance of the four Bodhisattvas joining forces, so he walked as fast as possible to avoid Shen Lian regretting it.

After listening to Shen Lian's words, the Great Sun Tathagata felt relieved. He was born as a demon. Although he entered the Buddhist path, his mind was not much better than that of Manjushri Samantabhadra. His achievements today were more or less due to his talent.

What's more, there was a shadow on Shen Lian before, and after losing again, it became an irresolvable knot, otherwise there would be no such doubts.

Now that we have made the decision with the wisdom of Manjushri and the judgment of Samantabhadra, and with Shen Lian speaking, there is no longer any hesitation.

The three great Buddhist saints did not miss the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and left in an instant without a trace.

This pure land where thousands of Buddhas used to come to visit has become even more desolate.

Shen Lian followed the three people away and then slowly fell to the ground. He felt that the earth energy of the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss was constantly hitting his body from the soles of his feet. It was the repulsion from Amitabha's will.

He forced himself into the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and his biggest opponent was definitely not the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, but Amitabha.

The immeasurable and heavy power of the past life pressed on his Taoist heart. If he relaxed even a little, he would be in a difficult situation where the Monkey King was trapped in Wuzhishan.

Of course, this was not the reason why he let go of Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and Mahavairocana, but Shen Lian really wanted to try the power of the four Bodhisattvas to prove his own way.

If he hadn't used thunderous means to frighten the three Buddhist sages and make them despair, Manjushri Samantabhadra would not have thought of joining forces with Ksitigarbha.

Samantabhadra claims to "establish causes with effects and apply effects within causes", which is nowhere near as brilliant as Shen Lian's creation of causes and effects out of thin air.

Putting aside the heavy calculations, Shen Lian made his Taoist heart clearer and clearer, and the Taiyi Yuanshen, the Taiji Yuanshen and the Taisu Yuanshen who had just gained some temper naturally appeared in his mind to oppose Amitabha's vast and vast Dharma intention.

A grain of sand in the Pure Land of Utmost Bliss may hide a world in which hundreds of millions of devout Buddhist disciples have been reborn in Utmost Bliss. Of course, it is also possible that a grain of sand is just sand and nothing else.

Even if Great Sun Tathagata and others have received Amitabha's Dharma, they still cannot truly glimpse the ultimate secret of the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

If we say that the vastness of the Paradise World is not inferior to that of the human world, it is even rarer to find kindness and kindness everywhere, even evenly, showing the equality of Buddhism.

Shen Lian knew that with his own ability, it was not hopeless to open up a similar vast world in a land of nothing, but to achieve this equality, it was impossible.

This is the gap between him and Amitabha, and it is also an insurmountable distance at this stage.

Throughout the ages, no one of the Tao Master level can be underestimated.

Fortunately, Shen Lian still has a way to find the bodhi tree.

This starts with the origin of the Bodhi tree, which is the most mysterious of the eight Taoist masters. In the past, when Shen Lian and Yanxu fought in Fangcun Mountain, they unconsciously went back in time and saw that Taoist master. That could be the Great Sage Equaling Heaven's mentor, Patriarch Bodhi, Subhuti in the Buddhist Heart Sutra, or Taoist Zhunti in the Conferred Gods. It is also the Taoist master that Shen Lian can't understand the most right now.

Speaking of this Taoist master's way of practice, it is different from Amitabha's great mercy and the Taoist ancestor's supreme ruthlessness. The foundation of his enlightenment is even confirmed by Shen Lian's past practice, and the Qingxuan Taoist sect's practice purpose - "Desire" To cultivate one's conduct, one must first cultivate one's mind.

There is a sentence in the Buddhist scriptures "Subhuti, how to subdue his mind" is the best proof.

The bodhi tree is the embodiment of the mind of this Taoist master. It is hidden in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. It will never be like dust with light. If you search carefully, you will definitely find it.
