Lu Dongbin looked at his two dedicated disciples and said, "Since the founding of the Chunyang Sect, there have been only a few practitioners, and even fewer who have achieved success. If you want to achieve great success, you must see through the affairs of the world, experience all kinds of hardships in the world and all kinds of baptisms of the devil, and then you can achieve the body of a golden immortal."
Immortals are divided into ghost immortals, human immortals, earth immortals, heavenly immortals, golden immortals, Daluo Jinxian, and immortal lords. To achieve an immortal body, one must experience the erosion of the black rain and fierce wind in the Nine Heavens when ascending. If only the Nascent Soul is left, one can become an earth immortal. If the body is still intact but still has damage, one can become a heavenly immortal. Only those who have a healthy body and can withstand the black rain and fierce wind in the Nine Heavens can achieve the body of a golden immortal. A golden immortal is not bound by the heavens, and if he achieves the Daluo Jinxian fruit, he can ascend to the Nine Heavens, above the Thirty-three Heavens, and listen to the preaching of Yuanshi Tianzun and Laojun in Lihentian, and be extremely free.
Lü Dongbin is just such a scattered immortal. The laws of heaven are strict, but they are limited to those below the Golden Immortal. Lü Dongbin's status has long been above the Jade Emperor. In heaven, although there are gods, demons and monsters mixed in, the most powerful one is the heaven recognized by the Buddhas and Yuanshi Laojun Tianzun. Immortals are mostly the righteous rewards of human cultivation. To achieve the right result and cross the nine heavens to become a golden immortal, it is not easy.
Lu Dongbin said: "If you want to achieve the true fruit of the immortal path, you must cultivate pure yang positive energy. This positive energy is the most yang energy between heaven and earth. The main energy for transforming qi is the lung gold energy, which is the body-protecting spirit of the golden immortal. With this body protection, you can resist all kinds of erosion and achieve a true body. It is a technique of internal alchemy for external use, used to protect against external evil, and its principle is wonderful. And the sword immortals mostly use this method for external use, to save the world and save people, eliminate demons and evil, it is mysterious and extraordinary!"
It turns out that before the heaven and earth were separated, Pangu swung the ancient axe in the chaos, creating the heaven and earth. The pure air rose to form the heaven, and the turbid air descended to form the earth. Only the purest air can rise to the top. After Pangu created the heaven and earth, he died of overwork. When he was about to die, his body turned into all things in the world, and his breath and voice turned into wind, clouds, thunder and lightning in the world. One Qi became three pure things, and the earliest gods who controlled the heaven, earth and the human world were born: Yuanshi Tianzun, Taishang Laojun and Tongtian Jiaozhu. And this Qi is the root of the achievement of true gods.
Pangu's divine axe, the sharp energy of the creation of the world, formed the highest and most yang Tiangang righteousness between heaven and earth. It is this righteousness that makes all things in heaven and earth clear and distinguishes between good and evil. The immortals who have cultivated the Daluo fruit in the heavens are all protected by this Tiangang righteousness, so they are able to create the world. It is precisely because of the protection of such Tiangang energy that the cultivators can pass through the black rain and fierce wind of the heavens.
"In the human body, the heart, liver, spleen, lungs and kidneys belong to the five elements, gold, wood, water, fire and earth. The five elements restrain and generate each other. Gold restrains wood, wood restrains earth, earth restrains water, water restrains fire and fire restrains gold. This is mutual restraint. Gold generates water, water generates wood, wood generates fire, fire generates earth and earth generates gold. This is mutual generation. The lung gold qi is strong and peaceful to maintain the health of the whole body. Among them, if one is strong, a hundred will become strong. Only by restraining each other in cultivation and breathing can the body of the golden immortal be achieved. Get the upper clarity and change the five elements. This is the method of change of one and all things, the five elements and eight trigrams of heaven and earth, and the lung gold is one of them, which is in harmony with the number of days. This is the entry way of cultivation." The ancestor Chunyang and his disciples talked about the way of cultivation.
Wu Yugang understood this very well, because he had the foundation of Chinese medicine and was very interested in the way of mortal cultivation mentioned by his ancestors, and most of these were inseparable from the principles of Chinese medicine. After all, it was the flesh that cultivated the immortal body, and it was inseparable from such practice and guidance. In this way, with the guidance of his ancestors and the method of entry into cultivation, Wu Yugang had a deeper and more thorough understanding of the immortal methods he had learned before.
Although such a superior skill is only for beginners, under the guidance of the immortal master, it seems that I have a deeper understanding, as if I have already comprehended it. The master leads the way, and the practice is up to the individual. The guidance of a good master is like a direct introduction to the mountain. The road is right in front of you, and what is lacking is hard practice and study. If you don’t have a good teacher, listening to his teachings is like falling into a five-mile fog, unable to tell the direction, unable to see the scenery, and not knowing where to think. It makes people confused and don’t know why.
"The magic of the immortals is that they use the inner elixir for external use. In the world, only the sword immortals are admired and respected. The sword is also the symbol and representative of justice and gentlemen between heaven and earth, and its gentlemanly spirit is admired by people. The sword is also the way of heaven, and between heaven and earth, the air has an invisible form and can become a thousand forms. The reason why only through the sword can one achieve the Tao is just that it is often used, and the principle is the same." Lu Dongbin is open and honest, his words are meaningful, but he is not driven by external things, and he has his own way of practice. The law does not attach to appearances, and attaching to appearances is not the way of the superior immortals.
The other two disciples were shocked by Lü Dongbin's narration, but also felt deeply relieved. They were shocked that their ancestor told them such a profound and wonderful way, but he did not avoid it. They were relieved that such a profound way was easy to understand without any restraint. Such a good teacher is really rare in the world. Such a truth is difficult to explain clearly, just like those who practice Buddhism, many people think that they can become Buddhas as long as they recite the scriptures well, but they don't know that reciting the scriptures is already attached to appearances, and how can one become a Buddha if they are attached to appearances!
"The way of immortals lies in the cultivation and application of breath, the art of inner alchemy lies in one's own cultivation, and the method of external use lies in daily training and application of changes. When practicing inner alchemy, one will inevitably be disturbed by evil thoughts, and the application of Tiangang sword energy is to cut off evil thoughts to ensure that the golden elixir is formed early. External use is also to subdue demons and monsters. This is both the internal cultivation of immortal elixir and the external cultivation of swordsmanship, just like the magic axe that our ancestor Pangu carried with him to create the world! Do you understand!?" Lu Zu asked his two disciples.
Wu Yugang said: "Master, I have understood what you said. This immortal technique is also based on the purest energy. The sword method lies in a single thought. The immortal sword can cut off the evil thoughts in a single thought, and use the sharp energy in the world to protect the inner elixir from being contaminated. Combining the inside and the outside to enter the immortal way is profound!"
Wuyazi nodded in agreement. Such a wonderful method, it seems simple, but it is so magical. No wonder there is a Lv Zu flying sword to kill the yellow dragon and take the head of a person thousands of miles away. It seems extraordinary. No wonder the ancestor never leaves his sword. People always talk about the method of the sword immortal. It turns out that it has been used and sublimated by Lv Zu. It is extraordinary to meet such a master. Although it is said that Lv Zu only has the pure Yang technique, it is unexpected that there is such a high-level cultivation method. It is really flattering.
