The female monk was in front, followed by Wu Yugang and the other two, listening to Leng Yan telling all kinds of magical stories here, nodding and praising from time to time. However, despite this, everyone still had their own secrets, which were all unspoken. So, did Wu Yugang really not think about it? No! Brother Wu Yugang was a person who was good at thinking. He liked to ask why when he encountered anything! And his thinking was extremely broad, which was difficult for mortals in the world to compare with.
In fact, we should think more when we encounter something, so that we will not make mistakes if we think twice before acting. Wu Yugang is a very focused person. Although people with such thoughts are considered to be what the saying goes, "Ning!" However, without this focused thought, people will not be able to do things well from beginning to end. Who is not focused in practicing Buddhist and Taoist kung fu, or even Confucianism? If a person gave up the idea of continuing to take the imperial examination because he did not get a high score in the imperial examination, how could there be so many top scorers who worked hard and passed the examination several times! ? If you want to succeed in something, you must have the spirit of water dripping through a stone. This is not called Ning, but perseverance. Otherwise, you will not succeed.
However, the world is not as simple as it sounds. Because everyone's ideas and cultural level are different, there will be great differences. Not everyone's thoughts are so comprehensive and just. This is because people have different understandings of justice. Some people think that as long as it goes against their own wishes, they should exercise their sense of justice. In fact, this is a big mistake.
Birds of a feather flock together. It is precisely because of different understandings of justice that people are fundamentally divided into categories. The meaning of universal axioms and justice is not exactly the same. Because justice is a higher level of thinking and thought. Only by transcending universal axioms can we correctly understand and view justice. However, after all, there are very few people in the world who can have such broad thinking and transcend all things, so there are saints, gods and Buddhas.
Wu Yugang is a person with such a good foundation, so he is different from ordinary people. There are many people who practice Taoism in the world, but only a few can really achieve something. Those who have achieved something have all come from their own practice, not just by eating vegetarian food and chanting Buddha. Few people in the world know this because of the differences in cultural literacy and understanding. Therefore, in such a mixed environment, there are thousands of different and various complex situations. After all, it is difficult to see people's thinking and ideas. Although Leng Yan has a deep foundation in practice, she is a mortal after all.
Leng Yan pointed at the Lingyun Temple not far away and said, "Please look, the two of you, this Lingyun Temple faces the river and is located on top of the giant Buddha. The couplet contains the words 'big Buddha', which was left by a famous person and has been passed down to this day. No one can match it!"
Wu Yugang and Wuyazi followed Lengyan's finger and saw a pair of vigorous characters on both sides of the Lingyun Temple gate: The Great River Flows East, Buddhism Comes West. This couplet does contain the word "Great Buddha", which is impressive. If you think about the meaning of this couplet carefully, it is difficult for a hermit who is not well-informed and deeply studied to have such a broad mind to write such a profound and mysterious text.
Leng Yan looked at the two benefactors who were exclaiming from time to time, and felt happy in her heart, because this was also a way for her to repay her benefactors after all her efforts. After all, this knowledge was hard to buy with money, and it was not false. It was well known that Buddhists did not tell lies.
"Although this place is called Leshan, it's just a difference in name. In fact, this is already the territory of Emei." Leng Yan said to Wuyazi and the others, "There are hundreds of temples in Emei Mountain, all under the jurisdiction of Master Xuannv of Emei! So I often walk between these temples. After all, I am a disciple that Master Xuannv values." Leng Yan did not say that she was punished by the master to collect herbs, but she also revealed her identity and the reason for going out, which is also a woman's mind that is difficult to guess. It is amazing.
After entering the temple, it is very neat, with a large hall and courtyard, and solemn Buddhist teachings. It is worthy of being a famous mountain of Chinese Buddhism. People come and go, and the incense is very prosperous. Although the incense is very prosperous, there are not many monks in the temple. After all, there are hundreds of temples here. It is not easy for such a small number of monks to practice and manage so many temples. This is something that any head of the temple will be very worried about.
Leng Yan led Wu Yuguang and the other person through a winding path inside the temple, through halls and courtyards, and came to a very quiet lounge. She said to them, "You two take a rest here for a while, I'll be back soon." After that, she offered them tea and walked out the door.
Wuyazi looked at Lengyan's receding figure and nodded continuously. Wu Yugang was confused and was about to ask a question. Wuyazi muttered to himself, "She is in her prime, a beauty of the country. Junior brother is so lucky! But it's a pity that she is a monk!"
Wu Yugang was filled with anger and resentment when he heard what his senior brother said, but he also found it funny. He suppressed his anger and said to Wuyazi, "Although senior brother is a monk, he still misses the world and is really a sentimental person!"
Wuyazi couldn't help laughing when he heard Wu Yugang's thorny words. "Brother, you have misunderstood. You still don't understand the mystery. Although you are a monk, you are still in the world of mortals. Buddha and Taoism are all about saving the world and saving people. How can they not have the thoughts of mortals? Gods and immortals are all mortals. If you don't understand the hearts of mortals, how can you save people in the world? Although my Taoism is a little low, I still understand these principles."
Wu Yugang was shocked by what his senior said, and thought to himself: "That's what my senior said." Although Emei had some grievances with Taiji, Emei was also damaged, and compared with Taiji, Emei also suffered heavy casualties. Although Leng Yan participated in the fight, she did not hold it in her heart, but was a rare magnanimous person. I just don't know why she likes me!
While Wu Yugang and the other man were talking, they suddenly heard footsteps outside the door. The door curtain was lifted, and an old nun came in, looking vigorous and refreshed. It was hard to tell her age. Leng Yan, a young woman in her twenties, stood out from behind the old nun, and only then could we see the mature and steady temperament of the old nun. Judging from her temperament, Xuan Nu was only in her thirties, and did not look that old. In fact, she was already over a hundred years old.
As soon as Fairy Xuan Nu entered the door, she saw Wu Yugang, a young man with an imposing manner, and recognized this outstanding person in Tai Chi. But she had never seen the thin man next to him. Fairy Xuan Nu was also a person who had seen a lot. She saw the point directly and had the style of a head of a sect. "Although great favors are not thanked, I still want to thank you two for saving my apprentice." As she spoke, she bowed politely.
Wuyazi stood up and said, "Master, please don't be polite! It's not that we two have to come here to receive Master's gift. Taoists are good at helping people and doing good deeds, which is not a problem. It's just that we have some unresolved grievances, and we want to talk to Master about it."
Nun Xuannv nodded and said, "I know what you mean. I think the young man from Taiji Sect has not yet settled his grudge and is here to seek revenge. But considering that I want to turn hostility into friendship, this is a good idea. Let's not mention the defeat of Shushan anymore. We consider ourselves unlucky. Betroth my disciple to him, and our two families will be connected. This matter is over!" When Nun Xuannv spoke, it seemed as if a parent was proposing marriage to his child.
Wu Yugang was not in a hurry to speak, but just listened to the words of Master Xuannv and felt that this Master, a monk, actually spoke such words, and she was also a respected head of a sect. I think this Master's inner demons are even deeper. How can she bring up a good disciple! ? (To be continued)
