Chen Tuan not only liked to study Zhouyi, but also developed Zhouyi into Yin-Yang theory and Taiji diagram. Although there were Hetu Luoshu and Zhouyi before Chen Tuan, most of them were incomplete. Chen Tuan summarized the various concepts of his predecessors, developed and improved Hetu, Luoshu and Zhouyi, which led to various classic Taiji theories and formed a complete system that was passed down to the world.
