Dazzling and Beautiful Scenery

Chapter 543: Shinto's benevolence

Views:

Wu Yuguang's powerful attack was not without reason. For this generation of famous prime ministers to be famous for generations to come, he must have extraordinary abilities. However, blocking the right path and stopping the righteous man did seem a bit pedantic to outsiders.

Fang Xuanling was able to detach himself from the world of fame and fortune without getting rid of the pursuit of profit. This superior detachment from the world is rare, and is similar to the idle people in the secluded world. That is why there is a saying in the world that the great hermits hide in the court, the middle hermits hide in the city, and the small hermits hide in the wild. In fact, this is also mostly wrong.

These hermits have given up the pursuit of fame and fortune in the world, and the pursuit of fame and fortune in the world is hidden in the court and the country, which is the pinnacle of the pursuit of fame and fortune. How can a hermit who has given up the pursuit of fame and fortune hide in the court and the country

This hermit originally yearned for freedom, so he gave up the shackles of the court and lived in seclusion. However, a true hermit still has the heart to save the world and save people. It has been said since ancient times: Those who love profit escape from morality and justice, and their harm is obvious but shallow; those who love fame sneak into morality and justice. Their harm is hidden and deep. If this hermit does not have a broad mind, it will be difficult for him to save all living beings.

The hermit's salvation of all living beings is not to publicize his own talents, but to tell the world about the suffering of being away from fame and fortune, so that people can realize the supreme value of their own lives through the influence of his noble virtues, non-contention, no worries, and detachment from the world, and get rid of the shackles of the world to achieve absolute freedom of body and mind. It is not a passive retreat from the world.

These are the supreme realms that Zhuangzi described in "Xiaoyaoyou", where heaven and earth coexist and all things are one with me. Only in this realm can one truly achieve the goal of riding on the righteousness of heaven and earth, controlling the debate of the six qi, and wandering in the infinite. What else can he do

There are true and false hermits in the world. True hermits are those who live in seclusion in the countryside and have great talent. They are not illiterate fishermen and woodcutters. Fake hermits are those who use seclusion as a pretext to attract attention and enter the officialdom. There are countless such fake hermits. Just like Zhuge Liang, who was frustrated when he lived in seclusion in the countryside, he compared himself to Guan Zhong and Yue Yi. Once the wise lord Liu Bei asked for help, he could not stop and told the Han lord about the Longzhong Dialogue before leaving his thatched cottage. Such a person really cannot be called a hermit.

Therefore, since these hermits are all literati who live in seclusion without taking up official positions, the idea that they hide in seclusion in the court is absolutely wrong.

The biggest hindrance to the world is fame, wealth and status, and the hermit also has to solve the survival problem of food and clothing, so the hermit also earns a living by working hard in the countryside and seeks a way to survive. Just as Tang Yin said, "When I have free time, I write about the mountains and sell them, so as not to make money by sinning in the world." It is not the fake hermit's principle that if you are poor, you can only take care of yourself, and if you are rich, you can help the world.

Although the real hermits all live in seclusion and no one knows about them, there is no distinction between big and small hermits. And the saying that the great hermits live in seclusion in the city is not without reason. The source is also a long time ago, but those who say it are not very clear. However, many allusions also make such things very appropriate.

Lin Pu of the Song Dynasty was a calm and thoughtful person since childhood. He was a free-thinking person who did not compromise or rely on power. He had certain talents, virtues and knowledge, and was a hermit who truly did not want to enter the officialdom. When he grew up, he also lived on Gushan Mountain near Hangzhou, planted plum trees and raised cranes, and called himself the plum wife and crane son.

This hermit who loved plum blossoms and raised cranes was also a god who enjoyed the breeze and the bright moon, watched the flowers bloom and fall in the courtyard, and watched the clouds roll and unfold in the sky. It was a pity that he lived in seclusion in Hangzhou, where the warm wind intoxicated tourists. Therefore, the more he lived in seclusion, the greater his reputation became, and he attracted the emperor's favor. Although he politely declined, it still had a great influence. After his death, he was also given the beautiful name of Mr. Hejing by the emperor. Therefore, in later generations, there was a distinction between the great hermits and the hermits.

These things are a bit far-fetched, but Fang Xuanling is not a man without talent and virtue. After he was old, he also practiced the way of Huangbai, and thus cultivated the body of a scattered immortal. However, he stood in the way of justice, and Wu Yugang saw it, and he was extremely hateful. After all, it is difficult for those who enter the market as officials to have the realm of a truly worldly hermit. This makes him seem a bit stubborn.

Wu Yugang swung his sword, wanting to kill the god who blocked his way. After all, if the way of heaven is like this, justice will be hard to exist. If such an unjust way of heaven is in the hands of such a stubborn god, how can there be any reason for justice to exist

However, although Wu Yuguang's sword was invincible, he still encountered a troublemaker. This troublemaker was none other than Han Zhongli, the Taoist priest of Zhengyang, one of the Eight Immortals who taught Wu Yuguang cultivation.

Han Zhongli, who lived on the Penglai Fairy Island, saw Lü Dongbin's worry, so he used magic to help the True Dragon disciple who was cultivating the Tao in this world. Who would have thought that the disciple would surpass the master, and the cultivation that Lü Dongbin taught him was also cultivated to a level that no one could reach in the hands of this disciple. This is also unique among Lü Dongbin's disciples. The ability to cultivate to the point of the Three Flowers Gathering at the Top of the Head is second to none even among the Three Pure Ones.

It was a coincidence that Han Zhongli was casting the spell, but it was also God's will. When Wu Yugang's sword chopped towards Fang Xuanling, he was no match for the Heavenly Gang. Helplessly, he had to change his original intention in order to keep Fang Xuanling, the immortal from the world.

As Han Zhongli waved the precious fan in his hand, the pure aura of the heaven and earth moved with it. In the hands of Taoist Zhengyang, it also formed a ball of chaotic energy, blocking Wu Yuguang and allowing Fang Xuanling to escape.

Han Zhongli's behavior was not without reason. Although Han Zhongli was an immortal who was detached from the world, he could not escape the control of the Three Pure Ones after all. Now was the day when Laojun was giving a lecture. The cultivators from Mount Zhongnan, the masters from the North Sea, the immortals from the world, and the real people from Taihua had all come here to listen to the lecture. Only the Eight Immortals from Penglai had not arrived yet.

Although Laojun knew that the Eight Immortals had not arrived, he did not complain at all. In his heart, he had already seen through the Eight Immortals' intentions. However, Fang Xuanling's precarious situation did make Laojun worried.

However, Laojun was very clear about what the Eight Immortals were worried about for Wu Yugang. When Han Zhongli crossed the sea to become an immortal, he had some hatred with the old Dragon King. Now the Eight Immortals wanted to settle the hatred through this matter, which was not impossible in the heavenly realm.

However, if the harmony of the gods is damaged, it will be difficult to achieve the goal. (To be continued)
