When Lu Jingshen got up on Sunday morning, Feng Si was talking on the phone on the balcony outside.
It was unknown who was on the other end of the phone. Feng Si spoke in a gentle tone as if he was coaxing someone. He glanced at Lu Jingshen and said with a smile, "Hang up. I have to get back to work."
Lu Jingshen just glanced at him and went straight into the restaurant to have breakfast.
Feng Si followed him. He had taken a shower early in the morning and his body smelled of refreshing mint shower gel, replacing the unpleasant foul smell of last night.
"Not exercising today?" Feng Si sat on a high stool and casually asked the person opposite him who was eating seriously.
Lu Jingshen didn't raise his eyes: "Let's go play ball later."
Feng Si raised his eyebrows in surprise.
Lu Jingshen was halfway through his meal when he suddenly seemed to think of something and asked Feng Si, "Have you not done the pre-employment physical examination yet?"
Feng Si: "I just updated my medical certificate when I joined the business jet company last month. Do I need to do it again?"
Lu Jing frowned: "Is STD testing also included?"
"You mean that," Feng Si said, "Why, Mr. Lu thinks that my private life is not in good order, and is afraid that I might have some dirty disease and infect you?"
Lu Jingshen remained calm: "Do you have it?"
Feng Si almost laughed out of anger: "Mr. Lu, you worry too much. I'm in good health. I didn't know that I could get a disease just by hanging out at a bar and drinking with others."
He tilted his head and stared into Lu Jingshen's eyes, his tone becoming more meaningful: "When Mr. Lu said this, I would think you were jealous."
Lu Jingshen ignored him, put down his chopsticks and changed the subject: "Put the dishes in the dishwasher after you finish eating."
After he finished speaking, he stood up and was about to leave, but Feng Si grabbed his wrist and pulled him back: "Why are you running?"
Feng Si was still sitting on the high stool, his long legs casually crossed, looking up at him with a smile: "Did I get it right?"
Lu Jingshen calmly asked back: "Why should I be jealous?"
His eyes were calm, completely different from the way he looked that night when he was pushed to the extreme.
Feng Si looked at him, and couldn't help but wonder how much truth there was in what he said.
After a stalemate, Feng Si let go of his hand and said mockingly, "Oh, then I was just being sentimental."
Lu Jingshen strode away.
At half past eight, they went out together and went to a nearby fitness club. Lu Jingshen would come here whenever he was free, and today was the first time he brought someone with him.
Lu Jingshen was playing squash, and Feng Si was sitting behind him against the wall, watching casually.
It doesn't seem surprising that the ball that Lu Jingshen was talking about was squash, which is a way to vent energy alone. For Lu Jingshen, enjoying the time of playing squash may be his most relaxing moment.
This person has been keeping himself too tense and needs an outlet to vent.
Feng Si thought absentmindedly, maybe Lu Jingshen had always been like this, and the three months that he participated in were probably an unexpected derailment in his orderly life plan.
With a "bang", the ball bounced back and fell to the ground. Lu Jingshen bent down, supported his knees with his hands, and gasped for breath.
Feng Si's thoughts were pulled back and his eyes fell to the front. Lu Jingshen's sports shorts were stuck to his body because of his movements, outlining a very attractive waist and hip curve. His legs were straight, and his calf muscles were tense and trembling slightly.
