At noon, Feng Si took Lu Jingshen to the dock restaurant at the harbor for dinner.
As soon as he entered the door, he greeted the restaurant owner, as if they were very familiar with each other.
Lu Jingshen was not surprised. For someone with Feng Si's personality, as he said himself, it was easy for him to make friends.
After choosing a seat with a good view, Lu Jingshen looked out. Outside the window was the sea, sparkling with silver light in the sunlight. Occasionally, a breeze would ripple the waves.
The salty smell of sea water mixed with the faint scent of flowers wafted in his face, relaxing him completely.
Feng Si ordered food and looked up at him from time to time: "What do you think of the scenery here?"
"Pretty good." Lu Jingshen said casually, his eyes still fixed on the sea level ahead.
"I think it's pretty good too," Feng Si said with a smile, "I used to live nearby. Every day when I came back from work, I could see the sea. At that time, I sometimes thought that it would be nice to stay here forever."
Lu Jingshen turned his gaze to him and asked hesitantly: "If that's the case, why do you want to change jobs?"
Feng Si thought for a moment and replied, "Maybe it's because I didn't wait for the person I wanted to wait for."
His tone seemed both serious and joking. Lu Jingshen was silent for a moment, took a sip of the mint water in the cup, and his gaze returned to the sea.
The dishes ordered by Feng Si were served one after another. They were all local specialties, mainly seafood.
"Try it. It's a waste of time if you don't eat these."
Feng Si was very excited and introduced the dishes to Lu Jingshen. Although Lu Jingshen had a average appetite, he cooperated and picked up the knife and fork.
At the end of the meal, the restaurant owner came over and asked them how the food was.
He spoke English, and as if to make sure Lu Jingshen could understand him, Feng Si made some suggestions for improvement. When asked, Lu Jingshen nodded slightly and thanked the other party.
The restaurant owner was very cheerful and talkative. He chatted with Feng Si for a while, and when he left, he asked Feng Si something in Norwegian.
Feng Si glanced at Lu Jingshen and answered with a smile, also speaking Norwegian.
After the person left, he told Lu Jingshen that the other party had just asked whether Lu Jingshen was his boyfriend.
"I said, yes."
Lu Jingshen frowned subconsciously.
Feng Si said, "He doesn't know you anyway. If I say no, I'll have to explain our relationship. It's better to just say yes to save trouble. What do you think?"
Although it was a questioning tone, Feng Si's attitude was too confident. Lu Jingshen felt a little uncomfortable: "Don't say that to others casually next time."
Feng Si shrugged indifferently: "Okay."
Coming out of the restaurant, they walked along the harbor promenade.
Lu Jingshen didn't say much along the way, just watching the scenery in silence.
Feng Si called him, "Alex, take a picture."
Lu Jingshen's first reaction was to refuse. Apart from ID photos, he rarely took other photos.
Feng Si had already taken out his phone, turned on the camera, and asked passers-by for help. He put his arm around Lu Jingshen's waist and reminded him, "Just take one photo, look ahead."
Lu Jingshen's body was a little stiff. The uncle who was helping to take the photo raised his phone and took a photo of them with the sea and sky behind them as the background.
The phone was handed back to Feng Si. He thanked the person and looked at the photo he had just taken.
