Feng Si accelerated all the way, stepping on the accelerator and speeding along the road down the mountain.
Lu Jingshen looked back and saw the two cars behind him catching up with their glaring headlights flashing, following very closely as if they were afraid they would not be able to get rid of them easily.
"Unbuckle your seat belt and turn sideways to help me steady the steering wheel." Feng Si suddenly said.
He picked up the gun he had just grabbed and reminded Lu Jingshen: "Hurry up."
Lu Jingshen did not hesitate and almost instinctively believed him. He unbuckled his seat belt as Feng Si said, leaned over, and held the steering wheel with both hands, even though this posture was very difficult for Lu Jingshen.
Feng Si said "Don't look back, just drive forward" and with one foot still on the accelerator, he pushed open the door on his side of the car, leaned out, slid down, and fired two shots at a very fast speed towards the rear.
The vibration of his eardrums was more violent than before. Lu Jingshen's mind was almost blank. Apart from trying his best to steady the steering wheel, he could not make any other reaction.
Then he heard the harsh sound of tires rubbing against the ground and a collision. Feng Si returned to the car, slammed the door shut, and took the steering wheel from him.
Everything happened in an instant, and when Lu Jingshen let go, his hands were already covered in cold sweat.
He moved back to the passenger seat and finally had the energy to look behind him. Two of Feng Si's bullets hit the tire of the car in front. The two cars collided with each other, crashed into the right side of the mountain wall, and overlapped and overturned in the middle of the mountain road. The people inside might not be able to climb out in a short time.
Lu Jingshen breathed a sigh of relief. Feng Si threw his phone over to him and reminded him, "Call the police."
A quarter of an hour later, their car stopped by the road at the foot of the mountain waiting for the police. Lu Jingshen was still a little overwhelmed and his brows were furrowed.
Feng Si reached out and touched his ear: "Does it hurt? Can you still hear the sound?"
Lu Jingshen tilted his head uncomfortably. The sound of the gunshot did sting his eardrums, but fortunately, it shouldn't be a big problem: "... How are you?"
Feng Si smiled and said, "It's okay. I've received professional training. Have you forgotten that I was in the Air Force for three years and I've practiced with guns."
Lu Jing understood it very well. No wonder he could shoot so accurately and with such confidence.
As his mood gradually calmed down, Lu Jingshen was about to say something when he vaguely smelled blood in the air and his expression paused slightly.
After turning on the interior lights, I could clearly see that Feng Si's left arm was bleeding and his shirt sleeve was dirty.
Seeing the shock in Lu Jingshen's eyes, Feng Si explained nonchalantly: "The bullet just now on the mountain just happened to pass by. Fortunately, it was just a scratch."
Lu Jingshen: "Why didn't you say anything just now?"
His brows furrowed again. He took Feng Si's hand and carefully helped him roll up his shirt sleeves. The wound was on the upper side of his forearm. The burn area was quite large and was still bleeding. There was no sign of "okay" at all.
"Let's go to the hospital now." Lu Jingshen said with a grim face.
Feng Si: "The police haven't arrived yet. We need to find out who those people are. They seem to be coming for you."
"Go to the hospital." Lu Jingshen insisted.
Feng Si had no choice. His hand really needed to be dealt with as soon as possible. After hesitating, he did not object and made a phone call.
Lu Jingshen was upset and didn't want to hear who he was calling. When Feng Si was about to start the car, he opened the door and said, "Switch hands, I'll drive."
