Just after noon, Lu Jingshen drove through the side door of Jinghang and entered the school.
He slowed down the car and looked around. Most of the people coming and going on the boulevards on both sides were energetic college students. He imagined that Feng Si was somewhat out of place in this place.
After parking the car by the roadside, Lu Jingshen got out and sent a WeChat message to Feng Si. There was no immediate reply. After waiting for a moment, he looked up and saw the crowd gathered on the playground in front of him. His eyes suddenly paused and he walked over.
There was a group of boys playing basketball here, and there were quite a few people watching. Lu Jingshen saw a familiar figure on the court, and it was indeed Feng Si.
The man was wearing a V-neck sweater and casual trousers. He dribbled the ball calmly and dunked on the ground again and again. When his opponent became nervous, he suddenly shook his body, made a fake move, and made a quick layup.
The basketball fell into the net accurately, and there was cheering and applause all around.
Several little girls in front were holding their cell phones and chasing Feng Si to take pictures. They were all flushed with excitement and screamed from time to time.
Lu Jingshen stood outside the crowd, speechless. Feng Si mixed in with this group of students, and he didn't feel out of place at all. He stood out and was particularly eye-catching in the crowd.
Perhaps it was because he had the mature masculine charm that these college boys didn't have, and he was tall, had long legs, and had a handsome appearance, which easily attracted people's attention.
Lu Jingshen stood at the side of the court for a while. Feng Si turned around and saw him, raised his eyebrows, said something to his teammates, threw the ball out, and walked towards him.
"Why are you here? Didn't we meet at the hospital entrance?"
Lu Jingshen was going for his second psychotherapy session today and had an appointment with the doctor at four in the afternoon. Feng Si said he would go with him, but he didn't expect him to come to school.
Lu Jingshen: "Just passing by..."
Being stared at by Feng Si with a smile, his eyes drifted to the side for a moment and told the truth: "I came out of the company at noon and had nothing to do, so I just came here."
Feng Si's smile deepened: "Let's go, it's still early, go sit in my dormitory first."
Lu Jingshen: "Aren't you going to play basketball anymore?"
Feng Si: "Forget it, let the kids play."
Feng Si’s dormitory is inside the school, and it only takes a few minutes to drive there.
"Are you used to it here? How does it feel to be a teacher?" Lu Jingshen drove slowly and asked the people around him.
"It's good," Feng Si leaned back in his chair leisurely and gave him directions. "It's quite interesting to get along with these students. I feel like I've become a lot younger."
Lu Jingshen could see that it was only a few days after school started, but he was able to get along well with the students. Feng Si was born to be such a person. He could easily blend in wherever he went and win the favor of others.
"You are quite young yourself, so there is no need to say such things."
Feng Si smiled and nodded: "Same to you, we're here, let's stop the car."
Lu Jingshen looked outside the car. It was an older-style dormitory building, six or seven stories high. There were tall sycamore trees planted outside the building, blocking the glaring afternoon sunlight. It was very quiet.
After getting out of the car, he took out a cardboard box from the trunk. It felt heavy in his hands.
Feng Si looked over and asked, "What is this?"
Lu Jingshen: "I'll go up and show you."
Feng Si took the box and held it in his arm with one hand: "Then go up."
