Early in the morning, while having breakfast, Lu Jingshen received another call from his mother, saying that they were at the golf course and asked him and Feng Si to go over together.
After hanging up, Lu Jingshen asked Feng Si if he wanted to go: "If you feel embarrassed, I will refuse them."
Feng Si said with a smile: "Go ahead, if you're not embarrassed, why should I be embarrassed?"
Although he couldn't quite understand why a rich man liked to play golf.
Mr. Lu is really passionate about this. If his body did not allow it, he could spend a whole day on the golf course.
Feng Si followed Lu Jingshen and greeted the two elders naturally. Lu's father was studying the golf club and nodded at him politely.
Feng Si was not nervous. When An Xin asked them to sit down, he sat down generously and even pulled out the chair for Lu Jingshen. Although he had eaten breakfast, the elders personally prepared hot tea and snacks and fruits, and he also showed his respect by showing his support.
Mr. Lu spoke very little. It was mostly An Xin who chatted with Feng Si, asking about his work, family, interests and hobbies, and Feng Si answered them one by one.
Lu Jingshen chimed in from time to time, as if he was afraid that his mother's questions would make Feng Si embarrassed.
Before coming, Feng Si asked him if this counted as meeting the parents. Their relationship had not yet been made clear in front of the elders, but they both knew it well. Even if it was not a formal meeting with the parents, it was not far from it.
After talking for a while, the two elders went to the court together and continued to drink tea while sitting on the sidelines.
Feng Si looked at the backs of Lu Jingshen's parents walking away, threw a nut into his mouth, and smiled at the people around him: "Alex, didn't you say that your brother's boyfriend had an easy time meeting your parents for the first time? Why is it that when it comes to me, your mother seems to have so many questions and is so picky?"
Lu Jingshen picked up the teacup and took a sip: "You are different."
Feng Si: "What's the difference?"
Lu Jingshen avoided his gaze: "Think about it yourself."
Half an hour later, An Xin came back and asked Feng Si if he could go play ball with Lu's father for a while.
Feng Si knew that the matter was not over yet, so he stood up gracefully.
After they left, An Xin sat down and poured half a cup of tea for Lu Jingshen: "I heard from your sister that you have been in better spirits recently. I see that you are in a good mood too. Is your work not as busy as before?"
Lu Jingshen: "Not bad."
He is always like this, not talking much and speaking briefly, even in front of his mother.
An Xin felt lost for no reason, and after hesitating, she asked him, "A Shen, did you experience something before that you never told us?"
Lu Jingshen drank his tea slowly and said calmly, "No, it's all right now."
Things have changed. He didn't tell his family back then, and there is no need to tell them now. Telling them would only cause more trouble to others.
An Xin sighed. She really cared too little about Lu Jingshen. Lu Jingqing was a girl and Lu Chixie was the youngest son, so they always got more attention from her. Lu Jingshen was in the middle and was always quiet, so she subconsciously ignored this son. By the time she realized something was wrong and wanted to care about him, it was too late.
She tried to comfort her son: "If you don't want to talk about it, forget it, but your father and I hope that you can live an easy life. Choose what you like and don't suppress yourself. Jingqing and Chi Xie can do it, and so can you."
