Before going home, they went to the supermarket to buy some fresh ingredients so that they could cook dinner at home in the evening.

Feng Si also picked out a bunch of scented candles with more than a dozen different scents.

He has been very interested in this recently. He bought it from abroad specially as a gift to Lu Jingshen. Lu Jingshen only used it once. He accidentally found it a few days ago. Although the sleep-aiding effect was not satisfactory, it had a different kind of fun when using it.

Lu Jingshen looked at the things thrown into the shopping cart, his eyes moved, and then he looked away pretending to be calm.

Originally he wanted to remind Feng Si not to buy too much, but then he thought better of it. If he ordered it every night, it probably wouldn’t take too long.

On the way back, Lu Jingshen bought flowers for Feng Si as usual.

He picked it up casually at the wedding scene yesterday, and today he bought a carefully packaged one.

Feng Si took it happily. He and Lu Jingshen both enjoyed the process of giving and receiving flowers. They could continue this game without getting tired of it.

It was almost six o'clock when they got home. Lu Jingshen packed up the things he had bought. Feng Si put the flowers in the vase and casually flipped through the letter thrown on the dining room table.

These are all letters that were sent to his home in the UK in the past few months. I gave them to him when his mother and sister arrived here a few days ago. After they were brought back, they were left here and he didn't read them until today when he had time to look through them.

Most of the contents were irrelevant, and Feng Si was too lazy to even open them. Until he turned to the last letter, his eyes suddenly stopped.

The envelope had the sender's logo printed on it. He recognized it as an international rescue organization in East Africa.

When he and Lu Jingshen were wandering in Africa, they passed by one of their bases. Their car happened to be out of gas, so they went to ask them to buy some. There, they saw a group of skinny children, and they felt pity for them. He and Lu Jingshen donated some money to the organization together.

Feng Si recalled and remembered that he had indeed left the other party a contact number, which was the address of his home in London.

The second year after he returned, the organization sent him a letter of thanks. Unexpectedly, seven or eight years later, new letters arrived.

Feng Si casually opened the envelope, and along with the letter, a photo fell out.

He picked up the photo, turned it over to the front, and focused his eyes.

On the top of the mountain at dusk, he and Lu Jingshen stood separately, looking at each other from a distance of half a meter, their eyes crossed. He was smiling, while Lu Jingshen's eyes were calm and quiet, with only him in his eyes.

Together, their figures were lengthened by the dusk.

It was him and Lu Jingshen back then.

Feng Si stared at the photo in a trance, and heard the sound of his own heartbeat, which was full and hot, constantly hitting his chest.

"What are you looking at?" Lu Jingshen noticed his strange behavior and came over to ask.

Feng Si came back to his senses, raised his eyes and smiled at him, then handed him the photo. Lu Jingshen looked over and was also stunned.

Feng Si quickly read the contents of the letter. The photo was a candid shot taken by the staff at the time. They found this photo when they were sorting out the photo album not long ago and sent it to him. The letter also asked him to convey gratitude to Lu Jingshen, thanking Lu Jingshen for his support and assistance to them over the years.

Feng Si was a little surprised. Seeing Lu Jingshen staring at the photo in his hand with his eyes downcast, he seemed to be frozen. He reached out and tapped his shoulder lightly: "Alex, you're back to life."
