Did Not Say Anything About My Feelings

Chapter 13: Tie clips

The stage recording time of the theme song was long and tedious, and Lin Ye didn't see the end.

In the evening, there is a more important feature film shooting, which takes place in the spacious lecture hall. The staff required all trainees to wear suits and uniforms. Lin Ye went back to the dormitory to take a shower, and changed into the uniforms issued by the program team from the closet.

The uniform fits to size, but Lin Ye doesn't know how to wear a tie.

He stood by the bed and felt under the pillow, trying to search for tie-tying tutorials on his mobile phone. It was only halfway through touching it that I remembered that the phone had already been handed in.

Lin Ye intended to recall Jiang Lian's action steps when he was sitting by the stage and wearing a tie. But apart from Jiang Lian's long and beautiful fingers, he couldn't think of anything else.

He pulled off the tie hanging around his neck, folded it casually and stuffed it into his coat pocket, avoiding the peak dining hours and going to the cafeteria for dinner.

The trainees who participated in the recording of the theme song had just disbanded. From a distance, people could be seen intertwined in the cafeteria, and the sound of playfulness fluttered up and down.

Lin Ye opened the curtain and walked in, looking around the windows and tables in the cafeteria. Everyone was wearing the same suit and uniform of the same color, it was a bit difficult to find Xia Dongchan among these people.

He ordered a piece of braised pork rice at the window, and he took the plate and walked towards the corner where there were few people. In the cafeteria, there are sofa booths for four and six people, and there are low walls between the booths.

I didn't notice it when I walked over, but when I walked around to the dining table where I used to sit, a small piece of blue uniform corners suddenly appeared in my vision, and someone had already sat down on the sofa.

Lin Ye paused, turned around with the plate in hand, and was about to walk towards the opposite side.

Someone behind him called his name, and the ending sound raised uncertainly: "Lin Ye?"

Lin Ye turned her head and saw Ming Rang resting his chin on one hand, leaning out half of his body to glance at where he was standing. When he saw his face clearly, he smiled and said, "It really is you. Let me tell you, the back of this black head looks a bit like it. If you change your clothes, I won't be able to recognize you."

Lin Ye raised her eyes and smiled, and took a step forward with the dinner plate in her hand, and sure enough, she found Jiang Lian sitting on the sofa opposite Ming Rang, with her head down and her face full of indifference.

He got closer to Ming Rang, sat down on the empty seat next to Ming Rang, and spoke first: "Have you seen Xia Dongchan?"

Ming Rang asked lazily, "Which one is Xia Dongchan?"

Lin Ye was speechless, "My roommate is from Class A."

Ming Rang carefully recalled to no avail, he raised one corner of his mouth and did not answer.

On the other hand, Jiang Lian raised his eyes and glanced at him who was sitting opposite, but what he asked had nothing to do with Xia Dongchan: "Where's your tie?"

Lin Ye said, "It's in the pocket."

Jiang Lian nodded, and said calmly, "Why not?"

Lin Ye looked slightly puzzled, but still answered generously: "I don't know how to tie."

Jiang Lian slightly raised his eyebrows when he heard the words, and looked away from the collar of Lin Ye's unbuttoned shirt.

Ming Rang joked, "You don't know how to wear a tie, you're still a child who hasn't grown up."

Without refuting his words, Lin Ye concentrated on eating.

Ming Rang suddenly felt bored, put away the chopsticks in his hand and got up and asked the person across the table: "I'm going to make soup, do you want it?"

Jiang Lian asked, "What soup?"

Ming Rang frowned and thought about it, but he didn't come up with a reason.

Lin Ye, who was sitting next to her, swallowed the rice in her mouth and interjected, "Today is corn ribs soup."

Jiang Lian said, "Yes."

Ming Rang got up and walked out of the booth, his back quickly disappeared from sight. Lin Ye withdrew her gaze, picked up a piece of stewed meat and put it in her mouth.

From the corner of the eye, Jiang Lian put down the chopsticks in his hand, lightly tapped the table with his knuckles, and said to him, "Get up."

Lin Ye looked up in surprise, "What's wrong?"

Jiang Lian didn't speak, and got up across the dining table.

Lin Ye looked suspicious, but stood up slowly.

But Jiang Lian leaned slightly, stretched a hand across the table into his coat pocket, took out a crumpled tie from inside, and said to him, "Come here."

Faintly aware of the other party's intentions, Lin Ye involuntarily clasped his hands on the table, and leaned forward in the direction where Jiang Lian was standing with his upper body as he said.

Jiang Lian stretched out her fingertips to pinch the buttons of his shirt, buttoned his collar, and tied his tie. In the middle of the journey, fingers scraped the skin below the Adam's apple on Lin Ye's neck. Lin Ye hung her head and looked as usual, but her Adam's apple rolled slightly.

After the tie is tied, the folded part is not very docile. Frowning as if dissatisfied, Jiang Lian raised his hand to unbutton his uniform jacket.

Under Lin Ye's direct gaze, he took off the silver tie clip on his tie, leaned over and clipped it on Lin Ye's tie.

After clamping the tie clip, Jiang Lian still didn't let go of his tie.

Lin Ye was still in a daze, as if only Jiang Lian's silver tie clip was left in his eyes.

Jiang Lian grasped the knuckles of the tie with a little force, pulling the person towards him.

Lin Ye was caught off guard and bent forward, her hands resting on the table hastily to keep her body balanced.

The moment his breath intertwined, Jiang Lian looked at him, and his tone was light: "Have you thought about it?"

The whole process was so short that Lin Ye didn't even have time to answer.

The sound of footsteps approaching behind him, Jiang Lian let him go and sat back on the sofa. Ming Rang came over with two bowls of soup, and looked at Lin Ye in surprise, "Why are you standing there?"

Lin Ye regained consciousness upon hearing the words, parted the corners of her lips and gave a perfunctory smile, and hurriedly sat down. The first thing to do was not to go to see Jiang Lian, but to hide the unnatural expression on his face, button up his uniform jacket, and hide the silver tie clip on his tie.
