After getting permission, Lu Cheng began to pack his equipment.

The tactical vest contains six sets of spare magazines, and other additional tactical equipment also includes gas masks and chemical protective suits.

Lu Cheng finally rejected the chemical protective suit on the grounds that it was "inconvenient for movement", but after careful consideration he decided to wear the gas mask.

Lu Cheng came directly to the place where the door was opened and met the three comrades who went there with him.

Lu Cheng didn't know their names, but their code names were Iron Ring, Kite and Pictorial.

Since the energy of the crystal is limited, it is already the limit for a team of four to explore another world.

Tiehuan is the oldest and tallest in the entire team. When Lu Cheng stands in front of him... he is a forehead taller than Lu Cheng.

Lu Chengkan Tiehuan has extensive experience in jungle and street fighting and is a top-notch expert in blasting.

The second is Feng Kite, whose role in the team is a scout and he is also an elite sniper.

When the person in charge introduced him to Lu Cheng, he directly said, "There is no one in the team who can shoot more accurately than him."

Finally, there is Pictorial, who serves as the kite observer and also performs logistical and medical duties. She is the only woman in the team.

"Is this a game?" Lu Cheng patted the back of his neck. "Demoman, Sniper, Medic, um... I was just joking. I'll skip the self-introduction for now. All you need to know is that the next mission is our... no, the first time for humans on Earth to explore another world."

Lu Cheng walked back and forth in front of the three soldiers who stood upright, watching their gazes which were always looking forward.

"Are you ready to leave the first footprint on the land of the alien world and then take a photo and upload it?" Lu Cheng's next sentence made the kite in the middle tremble a little.

He looked like he was about to laugh, but he tried hard to hold it back. This was not the right occasion for a smile.

"That's enough for the lecture. This operation is codenamed 'Exploration' and the mission objectives have been informed to you."

Lu Cheng bypassed them, and they turned back in an orderly manner to the wall facing Lu Cheng.

At this moment, Lu Cheng clenched his left palm, and the crystal in his hand emitted light, projecting a circular door on the wall that was large enough for five people to pass through.

The scenery projected behind the gate is a forest...

When the three soldiers saw this scene, their expressions finally changed slightly, and Lu Cheng could catch the excitement in their eyes.

What could be more exciting than being the first person in the world to explore another world

Lu Cheng glanced behind him and saw that the researchers and logistics staff in the underground laboratory were all ready. Professor Li sighed again and finally made an OK gesture to Lu Cheng.

"Action begins!"

Lu Cheng loaded the rifle in his hand and rushed into the gate at the command.

The moment we stepped through the gate, Lucheng left our own footprints on the land of another world.

… … …

This forest is safer than Lu Cheng had imagined. Along the way, not only did he not encounter the giant dragon that Lu Cheng wanted to see the most, he didn't even encounter a creature that could be called a monster.

I only saw a few squirrel-like creatures jumping over the tree branches.

But the entire team still increased their vigilance and patrolled the surroundings.

"Captain, I have a new discovery."

The sound of the kite came from Lu Cheng's radio, and Lu Cheng called the other two members to rush to where the kite was.

The kite found a commanding point in the forest, a cliff to be precise. After Lu Cheng walked out of the dense forest and stood on the cliff looking down, he could see a town in the distance

"Is that a city?"

Lu Cheng quickly took out a telescope and looked at the scenery in the distance. Less than a thousand meters away from the cliff, there was a large amount of rubble piled up. Judging from the patterns on the rubble, it was a building built by some intelligent creature.

“Captain, I think it’s more appropriate to describe it as a town, but it’s already a ruin,” Kite said.

Through Lucheng's telescope, the town in the distance had turned into a pile of ruins, and many of the buildings in the town could no longer recognize their original appearance.

"That's not a mark caused by an explosion. It should be knocked down by some kind of impact."

Tiehuan was worthy of being a demolition expert. He could tell at a glance how these buildings were destroyed.

"Impact? Mammoth?" Lu Cheng couldn't imagine what kind of creature could destroy a building. "Maybe it could be Godzilla. In this world, it should be called a dragon, right?"

The other three did not respond to Lu Cheng's words, they didn't know how to respond.

But soon a terrifying roar revealed the answer.

It was a monster of gigantic size, at least as tall as three men, and similar in appearance to a wolf... but it had no fur. Instead, its body was wrapped in a sticky, red fluid substance that kept dripping from its body onto the ground and then evaporating.

"Is this the same creature as those pterodactyls?"

Lu Cheng used his telescope to look at the terrifying "giant wolf". The pterodactyls that first came to Earth also had this characteristic.

That is, a red fluid would continuously overflow from the epidermis, and the fluid would evaporate quickly. When transported to the underground laboratory, only the skeletons of these pterosaurs were left.

This reminded Lu Cheng of the Giant God Soldier in Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

"Captain! There are people... humans! There are humans being chased by that monster." Kite shouted

"Prepare for sniping." Lu Cheng gave Feng Zheng an order.

Feng Kite immediately put his sniper rifle on the ground, opened the bracket in front of the rifle, and aimed the scope at the running giant wolf.

The giant wolf was chasing a middle-aged man, whose clothes were very shabby and dirty.

"A parallel world?"

Lu Cheng didn't expect that there were humans in this world, or rather... creatures that looked like humans.

The middle-aged man was running around in panic among the ruins of the city. Luckily he managed to hide in the gap between two buildings, but these crumbling buildings could not hold out for long.

Under the giant wolf's crazy impact, the surrounding buildings collapsed wildly.

"Captain, our position has been exposed." Huabao, who was observing the wind speed, suddenly said to Lu Cheng.

"So I didn't order Kite to shoot."

Lu Cheng was observing... observing whether there were more monsters around, but there seemed to be no other humans in the entire town.

"The captain has another child." Tiehuan suddenly told Lu Cheng another piece of news.

A girl who looked only eleven or twelve years old walked out from the other side of the ruins. She seemed to be frightened by the giant wolf, but kept shouting something to the middle-aged man who was cornered by the giant wolf.

Finally, the giant wolf suddenly turned its head and looked at the little girl who was less than ten meters away from it. The giant wolf could swallow the little girl in one bite as long as it opened its mouth.

"shot."

Lu Cheng gave the order and Feng Kite pulled the trigger directly.

With an explosive sound, the bullet flew out of the chamber and pierced the giant wolf's head with incredible accuracy. A huge gap appeared on the giant wolf's forehead, where scarlet liquid was constantly flowing.

Its huge body staggered, and it took only two or three steps forward before falling to the ground, dead.

"The target was killed." Feng Kite reported.

Lu Cheng continued to observe the situation in the town through the telescope. The little girl knelt down on the ruins and cried out in fear. The middle-aged man immediately ran out, hugged the little girl in panic, and then looked at the giant wolf lying on the ground in disbelief.

Not long after, another elderly woman came out of the ruins. The middle-aged man walked up to the giant wolf, knelt down and said something.

"What are they talking about?" Feng Kite asked curiously.

"Pray to God." Lu Cheng said softly.

"Prayer...what kind of religious ceremony is this?" Feng Kite asked again.

“They are praying to us.”

Lu Cheng looked at the middle-aged men kneeling on the ground in the distance, muttering something.

"Under such circumstances, the giant wolf that was chasing them suddenly died... I guess we can only think of it as a punishment from the gods."

"As the god they pray to, it's time for us to go meet them. There's only that family on the outskirts of the town... Anyway, let's contact them first." Lu Cheng continued.
