No one spoke in the living room for a long time.

Lu Zhao looked at him under the lamp, his face even paler than usual.

He gently held Xia Yu's hand and said, "I'm sorry."

Ever since he reunited with Xia Yu, he seemed to have been saying a few words, but no matter how many times he said them, he could not go back to that summer.

If time could go back, he would never leave Xia Yu alone outside the door again.

But now it's too late.

Xia Yu pinched the bridge of his nose, thinking that he was just making things difficult for himself. It was already an old story, so why bring it up again

He patted himself and stood up. "Forget it. I don't want to talk about this anymore."

He didn't want to pay any attention to Lu Zhao and walked straight to the stairs, ready to go to the study upstairs.

"Don't follow me. I don't really want to see you right now. I'm going to the study. I have something to deal with."

He just received a document from an employee and needed to deal with it. He originally wanted to leave it until tomorrow, but now he was upset and didn't want to see Lu Zhao. Suddenly he thought it would be good to have work to occupy his attention.

Lu Zhao watched Xia Yu walk away. After a while, he stood up, but did not go upstairs. Instead, he went to the piano room downstairs. There was a large bookshelf in the piano room, and he spent a lot of time here.

He opened a cabinet at the bottom of the bookshelf, which contained a dark red suitcase.

Lu Zhao looked at it for a while before taking out the box. There was a combination lock on the box. Although it had not been opened for a long time, Lu Zhao still quickly entered the password.

The box opened with a bang, making a dull sound in the quiet piano room.

Xia Yu stayed alone in the study for nearly forty minutes. In fact, he finished his work in just over ten minutes. He was just helping an employee find a file.

But he didn't want to see Lu Zhao. For a moment, he even wanted to leave the Lu family and go back to his own home or to Xu Zhan.

But think about it, it's too hypocritical.

He is already twenty-five years old and doesn't want to be as childish as a child.

So he came out of the study slowly again.

As soon as he came out of the study, he found Lu Zhao sitting on the sofa in the small living room outside.

The lights in the small living room were dim and Lu Zhao was very quiet, so he was startled.

"What are you doing sitting here?" Xia Yu's mood became even worse. "Playing tricks in the middle of the night."

But when he lowered his head, he noticed that there was a dark red vintage leather suitcase in front of Lu Zhao, which was large and heavy.

"What is this?" he asked subconsciously.

In fact, Lu Zhao hadn't figured out what to say. Before Xia Yu came out, he had been thinking about how to start the conversation.

When Xia Yu saw what was in the box, he might get even angrier and even find him even more hateful.

But he still wanted to take out this belated apology and tell Xia Yu, I don’t really care about you that much.

Lu Zhao stood up and turned on the light in the small living room. The bright light came on suddenly, even a little dazzling.

He took the contents of the box out.

Xia Yu narrowed his eyes, and when he saw clearly what it was, his face went blank for a moment.

It was a hand-made model of a sailboat, about twelve inches long, with a rosewood hull, a three-flag, three-deck warship, and white sails that would billow even without wind. Every detail on the ship, every gun port, was extremely lifelike.
