June 21, the summer solstice, is the wedding of Lu Zhao and Xia Yu.

This high-end hotel under Lu Zhao's name closed down early and prepared for this grand wedding for a full two weeks.

The looks of the guests at the wedding were quite subtle. After all, the ex-husband of one of the grooms was also present and even served as best man. Although everyone seemed to be smiling and blessing each other, they turned their backs and exchanged glances frantically, asking others if they knew what was going on.

But none of the grooms cared about the reactions of the guests.

Lu Zhao looked down at Xia Yu. He seemed calm, but his fingers were trembling slightly.

Xia Yu seemed to be covered with a layer of soft light today. He was wearing a well-fitting black suit, and his hair was slightly longer than a few months ago, making him look particularly gentle.

He seemed a little embarrassed and couldn't look Lu Zhao in the eye, but the corners of his mouth were slightly raised and even his cheeks were a little red.

Lu Zhao couldn't help but hold his face.

He heard the witness say, "Are you willing to marry the man in front of you, whether he is poor or rich, healthy or sick, are you willing to be with him forever?"

Lu Zhao answered without hesitation, "I do."

forever.

That's such a beautiful word.

In his most extravagant dreams, he never thought that Xia Yu would one day willingly marry him. He once thought that maybe one day he could still join hands with Xia Yu, but that might just be Xia Yu's helplessness, or maybe he was just pestering her.

But now, in the early summer breeze, hydrangeas bloomed in large clusters beside the snow-white columns, and the guests in the audience, whether sincere or not, were smiling and applauding for them.

Xia Yu looked at him with gentle, bright and loving eyes, as if they had never been apart.

Lu Zhao heard his own heartbeat.

Bang—bang—

Powerful, even a little noisy.

He held Xia Yu's hand tightly, and then he heard the most wonderful words in the world.

"So would I."

After Xia Yu said this, he smiled, stood on tiptoe, and gave Lu Zhao a quick kiss on the lips.

Lu Zhao felt like his heart stopped for a second.

Then he could no longer restrain himself, and without waiting for the priest to announce that they could kiss, he grabbed Xia Yu's waist, lowered his head, and gave her a long kiss.

The applause and laughter from the audience suddenly increased countless times, and the groomsmen whistled and cheered along with good-natured cheers.

Xu Zhan couldn't help but laugh. His former partner, the person with whom he used to talk and drink under the eaves, finally had a brighter and more brilliant future.

The corners of his eyes were slightly moist, and he took a deep breath as if to cover it up, and whispered to Jiang Ti beside him, "They are actually quite a good match, right?"

Jiang Ti silently watched the newlyweds hugging each other.

He was clapping too, but his movements were slow and dull.

He couldn't tell when he started to like Xia Yu. By the time he found out, Xia Yu had already become Xu Zhan's partner.

Now that Xia Yu has entered into marriage again, the position beside him still has nothing to do with him.

He thought that loving someone and finally achieving a happy ending is worth celebrating, but if it was just unrequited love, it would be a long torture.

But he still answered Xu Zhan's question, "It's just a barely match, because Xia Yu likes him."
