This book entered the second volume at the end of March, and was immediately put on the shelves. Basically, it was put on the shelves from the second volume. However, there are also some poorly written parts. The Secret Realm of the Seven Wonders is not well arranged, the entrance is abrupt, and the plot is not detailed enough, which led to me losing my determination to follow the series.
The second volume is not very exciting, but I learned a lot, and I know what to avoid and what to write in detail. For example, according to the initial outline, the battle between Gu Luo and Qing Lei and the seven Teng Snakes would be written in detail. If it was written in that way, it would make the same mistake as the first volume, stealing the protagonist's role, so they only appeared in half a chapter, only showing the appearance of Xuanwu, and arranged for the protagonist to be the commentator.
The battle between the Dragon Turtle Clan and the Teng Snake Clan was also omitted... But I feel that this is a bit too much, and it can actually be written in half a chapter or a whole chapter. After all, after they appear, they stand on the side of the readers, so it is completely okay to let them show their power. If arranged well, it can even be a small climax.
But I was afraid that it would turn out to be like the Qingyuan War, so I cut it out completely, which was also wrong!
I am a novice, a real novice. I have written novels before, but what kind of novels are they if I haven't published them? They are just for my own pleasure! If I have published them, I have published one with 60,000 or 70,000 words, but then I didn't have time to finish it. It can't be considered writing, right? It's not even a flop, it doesn't deserve to be called a flop...
Saying I am a novice is not to take credit, but to tell you that some parts are not well written, it is indeed due to lack of experience, and I will improve as I write slowly. When I wrote the first volume, some friends were worried that it would be abandoned. Now that I have obtained the fine brand, there is no need to worry about it being abandoned, right
The story is still long, so let's take it slow. 500,000 words already means I've mastered some online writing skills, but that's not enough! Strive for a million words, when the plot really unfolds and the climaxes begin, and then I can thoroughly master online writing skills.
But now that a new volume has started, I will write a little slower and sort out the details of the outline carefully.
After all, the heavenly tribulation has been passed, the inheritance has been obtained, and the special training has been obtained. The dragon turtle can no longer be so weak, it is time to ignite, it is time to beat others, it is time to have a good time... But I don't want to have a mindless fun, so it is more brain-intensive.
Moreover, the third volume has the biggest pitfall in the whole book, which needs to be buried quietly. It is too difficult for a novice. I would not dare to bury it if I had not already written 500,000 words.
This volume truly unfolds the worldview and peels off the outer shell of the world. Don't be anxious, as mistakes will be made if you are anxious. If something goes wrong now, I am afraid I won't be able to fix it and it will collapse.
We have learned a lot from the first two volumes, so let’s write the third volume carefully and do our best!
In the past two months, I have had plenty of time and have devoted myself to it. As for updates, I will make a detailed outline in the next two days and then set a schedule. Now it is planned to be at 6 pm and 10 pm. These are two chapters with 4,000 words each. The plot is on track. After writing quickly, I will update three chapters with 3,000 words at 3, 7, and 11 pm.
I tried it a couple of days ago and found that it is still possible to update 8,000 to 9,000 words. Any more will really affect the quality. A lot!
But if I get stuck and update less one day, please don't blame me. I will make up for it when the time comes. It's really hard to get stuck...
