Doomsday Jigsaw Game

Chapter 181: Month-end and year-end summaries

Views:

First of all, I wish you all a happy new year. The magical 2020 is finally coming to an end. I hope all the handsome and beautiful ladies will get what they want in the coming year.

Let's talk about the word count first. In last month's month-end summary, I said that this month would exceed last month, and I finally kept my promise. A total of 258,000 words, because of the anti-theft protection, I saved a lot of words, so the actual word count must be 260,000.

This is my personal record.

Many of my writing friends know me. I am very lazy. Basically, if the editor requires me to write 4,000 words, I will lose if I write one more word.

This book in particular is quite difficult. The compactness of the plot, the density of copies, and the decryption are all better than any other book I have written before. I originally thought that... 4,000 words a day would be the limit after it was put on the shelves, but I never thought that I would be able to have a label of 9,000 words a day.

I can’t guarantee that I can keep up the pace in the future, and this may make readers unhappy, but my speed of writing books is getting slower and slower. This is because the stories are snowballing and my energy is getting lower and lower.

What I can guarantee is the quality of the work.

Let’s talk about the sequel of the story.

After the boss was finished, the Demon King and the Possession were defeated one after another, which made me doubt my story-writing skills for a while, but later I found that maybe it was not that my skills declined, but that my self-cognition was biased and my mentality changed.

At the time, I always felt that if the story was not seamless, readers would forget about you as the author, so the story had to start quickly...

Facts have proved that without preparation and long-term planning, nothing can be achieved.

Almost two months passed after I finished finishing the second book, and I read nearly 20 million words of various apocalyptic literature.

After reading Ubisoft director's "Game Design Creed" and Tomohiro Sasaki's "How to Write a Game Script", I wrote this story inspired by the sentence that the purpose of games is to let players make interesting choices.

There are many problems with Jigsaw Puzzle: Doomsday, and in the eyes of many old bookworms, it may be just a piece of hay.

But I have to say that this story is the best one I have written so far. In my previous stories, the only ones in which I was not an NPC, pretending to be a boss, possessing other people's bodies, and the demon king was very strong, I felt that there were huge problems halfway through writing them.

There is no Doomsday Jigsaw Puzzle yet. If there is, it is that the author was a little unconfident in his own story and wanted to add some more pleasing elements, such as live broadcast. As a result, the readers' feedback was that the story was more pleasing and did not need these fancy elements at all.

There are still many shortcomings in this story. I can only hope that I can give you more surprises in the future as your skills improve.

The plot as a whole is still in its early stages.

The farms, the feedlots, the black areas, all just showed their faces.

There is still a lot of room for exploration in the many red areas. I hope I can write well about those distorted worlds, and I hope to gain your recognition with the brilliance of humanity in each distorted world.

The road is long, and I will definitely update this story seriously throughout the next year.

Here, I would like to thank all the genuine readers who have supported me along the way. I also hope that my story will make you feel it is worthwhile.

Before I knew it, it was already half past five. I'm here, sleeping.
