Chapter 185: Heaven's Arrow Falls

"Lorenzo Holmes, I am increasingly confused about your thoughts. Even if you do this, what will happen? You left her in the snowstorm. As long as I return along the railroad tracks, she still can't escape."

Lawrence looked at the guy who was slumped aside, almost a corpse.

"What if? Lawrence, what if I kill you right here? People should always have dreams!"

Lorenzo responded, but he didn't even have the strength to stand up. He didn't care about Lawrence's threats. He felt that he was going to die anyway, so he might as well say more nonsense to torture his opponent mentally.

Hearing his words, Lawrence laughed instead. He then picked up a spiked sword and walked towards Lorenzo.

"Would you like to talk for a while longer? I'd actually like to know why you betrayed the cult."

Lorenzo retreated forcefully several times, wriggling on the ground like a piece of meat, but soon he reached the edge, and Lawrence had no intention of letting him go, pressing him step by step.

"Don't be like that. I'm a dead man anyway... Can you give me a chance to smoke a cigarette? I want to talk to you about my plan to assassinate you. To be honest, this plan is absolutely amazing. I feel like a genius who will never be born."

He kept on talking, and didn't look like a dying man at all.

"Are you afraid of death?"

Lawrence suddenly stopped.

"Maybe. After all, the dead can't kill you."

Lorenzo glanced at Lawrence, then slowly took out a cigarette box from his arms. The cigarettes in the punctured box were almost broken into pieces. Lorenzo poured them on the ground and finally picked out one that was still smokeable.

"You know what? Lawrence, humans are really great."

Holding a cigarette in his mouth, the flame flickered in the snowstorm. As he spoke, Lorenzo removed the spike sword that was stuck on the carriage. It seemed to be an oil tank, with black liquid pouring out of the gap.

"Do you know what this is?"

Lorenzo said as he touched a little of the black water and lifted it up.

Lawrence had never seen that kind of substance, and he was instinctively alert.

At this moment, he was not sure whether Lorenzo had reached his limit. After all, the strange power in his mind had not yet appeared. In the previous several confrontations, this cunning guy had already made him suffer a lot.

He and Lorenzo kept a safe distance.

"They call this stuff crude oil. It's highly flammable and hard to extinguish. Merlin said it will be one of the new energy sources that will change the world."

"And there are still many oil tanks like this on the train."

Lorenzo said quietly.

"Do you want to die with me? This won't kill me."

Lawrence sneered.

Although the power of this crude oil is unclear, with Lawrence's current strength, he can evacuate before the danger comes. Even if he is affected, the Holy Grail will heal him.

"Is this also the reason why you let her go? Otherwise she would have been burned to death with you."

Lorenzo shook his head. He didn't know either.

"Who knows? You won't know what you want until you see it in front of you... Maybe you let her go in a fit of anger."

Lorenzo continued.

"So, Lawrence, do you understand how far modern technology has developed?"
