"Finally I can take a break."

Eve said weakly. She had been dancing with Lorenzo since the beginning, and she finally had a chance to rest when the song changed.

So far, their hiding has been quite successful. No one has noticed anything unusual about them, and no one has come to talk to them. Instead, some people have looked at them with curious eyes, which has made Eve a little flustered.

"Don't worry, they're just curious."

Lorenzo's words were well-timed.

"This kind of dance has been held so secretly that I don't know how many times. Even with masks on, the guests will feel familiar with each other. And today we are here. They must want to know where we come from."

"Want to talk?"

"There's no need. The more you talk, the easier it will be to reveal yourself."

Lorenzo's acting ability is really strong. Looking at his casual look, it seems like he has participated in it many times.

His gray-blue eyes looked around, actually he was also very uneasy, but he didn't tell Eve. The feeling had been rising since he saw the stained glass window. It was originally a building in the church, but now it appeared in this strange underground, as if behind the glass was the gate to hell.

"Eve, have you seen the guard?" Lorenzo said suddenly.

"Guards?" The girl looked around. Everything was bathed in a sea of joy. There were no guards at all.

"Yes, we have been here all the way, and there have been no guards except at the beginning."

Lorenzo looked unusually solemn, sitting in his seat. Everything seemed normal, just like an ordinary dance party. But he suddenly discovered something. Servants were walking through the crowd, holding trays with coins and gold on them.

The transaction has already begun, or rather it has begun since the two entered here. Lorenzo thought there would be some formal speech here, and then he would make a stunning exit surrounded by a group of beautiful women, but now the goods being traded were placed on trays like drinks and passed among the crowd.

Hell, then Saab most likely wouldn't show up.

Everything that happened tonight was a perfect script. Lorenzo had calculated everything, but he didn't expect these.

Just when Lorenzo was worried, a servant came over with a tray filled with butcher coins and gold and silver jewelry. Lorenzo pretended to be familiar with the situation and was about to take out the last few butcher coins to give to the servant when the servant spoke.

"Sir, you are invited."

The attendant was wearing a mask and his voice was cold, which made Lorenzo feel a little uneasy in this situation.

"Invite me?"

Lorenzo asked again, only to see the servant move aside. On the platform behind him, a man wearing a bull mask was waving at Lorenzo.

"Eve, get your weapons ready, we should be exposed."

Lorenzo stood up, whispering to Eve in the process.

The girl's expression suddenly softened a bit, her hands rested lightly on her thighs, only a thin piece of dress between her and the cold weapon.

"What are you going to do?"

The girl also asked him in a low voice, and Lorenzo picked up his pocket watch. It was 1 o'clock in the morning.

"It's time to keep the appointment. I can't escape now."
