Victoria General Hospital.

This is one of the oldest hospitals in the entire Invergri, and its top medical level is proportional to its long history. The hospital has been expanded several times over the years, and it is now one of the few buildings in Old Dunling that spans two districts. In order to ensure the medical care of the hospital, the Mechanical Institute even directly built a separate energy supply pipeline for it.

The highest security force in Old Dunling, Suaran Hall, is not far from the Victoria General Hospital. If necessary, the mounted police can arrive here with loaded rifles within ten minutes after receiving the order.

Due to its large size, Victoria Hospital has also had many other functions in recent years, such as cooperation with the Suaran Hall.

The bodies of all the cases would be sent here for autopsy, but the body of Sailor Wall was obviously not worthy of attention. No one claimed it and it was not important. According to the procedure, his body would be transferred directly to the Royal Medical College and given to those students for surgery practice. However, at the insistence of someone, this worthless body underwent a rare autopsy.

The police officer looked at the young girl standing in the corridor with an impatient look on his face.

If she hadn't insisted on an autopsy, he would have stayed at his workstation and enjoyed a rare rest. In Old Dunling, people in the lower city were not considered citizens of Inglvig in the eyes of the police. Unless the case involved people from the outer city, they never took it seriously.

But this young girl is different. This is the first case she has taken over, and she is determined to find out something.

Full of passion and energy.

Once upon a time, the police officer was also such a person, but now he just looked like he had been smoothed out by life. Maybe he saw his past self in the girl, so he just endured it. In his opinion, life was boring, the girl would give up in a few days, and he just had to wait a little longer.

"Isn't the report out yet?"

The girl finally caught another nurse and asked anxiously.

"Officer, you know that according to procedure, the report needs to be reviewed and signed by the director. He may be busy now. Please wait a moment."

The nurse had an awkward smile on her face. The young police officer had been waiting here since the body was brought in early in the morning. She asked every hour, which was really annoying. What did she think an autopsy was? Was it just killing a pig? Even if it was a pig, it would take half a day to bleed. What could be found in such a short time

"Oh, okay."

A hint of disappointment appeared on her excited little face, but soon a loud explosion aroused her interest again.

The explosion came from the street. The violent impact shattered the outer glass. The crowd screamed in panic and the gray mist filled everywhere.

"Eve!"

The officer yelled her name and then pulled out his baton.

"Is this a terrorist attack, Officer Price?"

As a new detective, Eve excitedly pulled out her gun.

"It should be that the underground steam pipe exploded due to aging and blew off the manhole cover... Put away your gun, we are here to maintain law and order."

Press felt a headache when he looked at this energetic newcomer. He hated his luck a little bit, otherwise why was he chosen to lead this newcomer.
