This is the day Lorenzo left... and which day did he come in
Early in the morning in Old Dunling, Eve stood on the street and looked to the side. The Winchester office was dark.
Eve would pass by here every time she was on duty. Sometimes she would break in and cause a lot of trouble for Lorenzo's breakfast, and sometimes she would stop briefly and then leave.
As usual, after watching Lorenzo leave the port of Rendonna, the Winchester office closed, with darkness rolling and silence remaining.
Although she knew that Lorenzo had left, Eve still stopped out of habit, walked to the door of the office, and looked at these strange decorations.
Although I helped Lorenzo clean up the terrible room, the outside of the office was still a mess. The worst thing was Lorenzo's ridiculous sign. It seemed like he had never maintained it at all. The lights on it were no longer bright, and the steel was covered with rough rust. This place looked like it had been abandoned.
"This lifestyle is really hard to describe."
Eve gently wiped the worn-out sofa next to the door with her fingers. It was covered with dust, but Lorenzo didn't even think of wiping it.
Shaking her head helplessly, Eve gradually got used to Lorenzo's bad lifestyle. Just as she was about to leave, she suddenly realized something and turned around to look at the door.
With her palm pressed against the door, Eve pushed it open without much effort.
Eve didn't think Lorenzo would be stupid enough to forget to lock the door, nor did she believe that this guy would jump off the ship and run back, so who opened the door of the office
Lorenzo's roommate? That guy died a long time ago. Mrs. Van Rudd? She was gone a long time ago, too.
Who could it be? A thief? But a place that looks so shabby wouldn't have many thieves wanting to visit.
Thinking of this, Eve pushed the gap wider until the entire door was opened, and a fairly tidy living room appeared before her.
She walked in quietly, her intuition telling her that the guy who had sneaked into the office had not left yet.
Eve was feeling a little strange at the moment. She took out the folding knife from her waist, peeled off the metal little by little with her hands, and pulled out the blade silently.
Like a hunting leopard, she crouched low and moved forward silently.
There was no trace of fear on his face, instead it was full of excitement.
Eve was once a lady from a noble family. She should have worn gorgeous dresses and danced at luxurious banquets. But at a certain moment, her life took a huge turn. The girl tore open her skirt, picked up a sharp knife, and turned into the so-called Ingveig Valkyrie.
Sometimes Eve wondered what her life would be like if she hadn't taken that step. Would her life really become like the story Arthur told her, getting married, having children, and spending the rest of her life on a peaceful island
Later, Eve realized that it was not her who chose such a thrilling life and made changes, but that such a world chose her.
Eve has a restless heart, and as Arthur untied her restraints, her restlessness continued to intensify. At the end of Maruri Port, Eve had already vaguely realized this about herself. She felt no pressure in the face of danger, but instead excitedly stepped forward and swung her knife.
