Chapter 578: monument

It was another moment between dawn and dusk. Lorenzo stood on a high slope, looking into the distance at the world.

He had thought about how he would feel when he really reached the end of the world. Excited? Ecstatic? Hysterical screams? Lorenzo had thought about all these, but when this moment really came, he felt only peace in his heart.

No, this is not calm. To be precise, in the face of this huge impact, Lorenzo has temporarily lost the ability to think. All he can do is observe the scenery in front of him as much as possible, engrave them firmly into the depths of his soul, and remember them forever.

"Is this... the end of the world?"

The plague doctor asked in disbelief. This was something he had never imagined or seen before.

"It should be. The Aurora ends here."

Lorenzo raised his hand and pointed to the darkness that was about to be dispelled by the morning light.

The aurora was fading away little by little, but even so it was clear that the band of light that was guiding them deep into the Sea of Silence ended here, as if something had blocked its progress. The faint light swam in the scenery in front of them and finally dissipated.

Lorenzo smiled and then said.

"I've wondered before if there would be a huge billboard here with the words 'The End of the World' written on it, and a few secret keepers standing under the billboard, happily welcoming us."

This was not a very funny joke. Everyone was so shocked that no one paid any attention to Lorenzo's strange joke.

Floki, who had forgotten everything, was stunned for a moment, then he began to whimper. He was probably cheering or in ecstasy, but there were only two words left in his mind. After the whimper, he shouted awkwardly.

"Chart! Chart! Chart!"

Lorenzo didn't understand what Floki said. Then he saw Floki take out parchment and draw on it. He could see that the handwriting was very steady, describing everything in detail.

"You still remember this kind of thing? Did I bring a cartographer with me?"

Lorenzo looked at it and said in confusion, wondering how Floki could remember all this mess, but he soon looked forward again, trying to enjoy the moment as much as possible.

"The end of the world..."

The black angel made a dull sound, and Watson looked around, letting the light of the morning glow shine down.

The four of them were standing on a towering snow slope, which was actually the edge of a huge circular pit... They were not quite sure whether to call it a circular pit, after all, it was too huge. Lorenzo looked to both sides and could see that the snow slopes extended to the end of his sight, forming a huge circle that enclosed everything in front of him.

In front of us is a cliff with a very high drop. It seems that a very terrible explosion created this huge crater, and the impact also piled up mud and rocks. They squeezed and bulged against each other, forming such a cliff.

Below the cliff was a pile of snow, and there were many bulges on the white snow. Because of the strong morning light, Lorenzo could not see clearly what it was, but when he looked forward, he could see endless light.

They were huge columnar entities, densely packed in the ground with uneven heights, like a dense jungle. They reflected strong light, making it difficult to see their true appearance, but even so, Lorenzo could still barely see some of them clearly.
