Ember’s Gun

Chapter 631: Falling stars in the sky

The desolate white fireworks burned, and in the gray ruins, two different voices rose and fell.

Roger gasped for breath, covering the hideous wound on his chest. The greatsword almost tore half of his body apart. His bones and internal organs were burned in the flames, but his immortal flesh and blood were still stubbornly growing, pulling, and healing.

His vision was stained red with blood and became blurred. He could not see the road ahead, but he could still feel the increasing intensity of Lorenzo's erosion. In order to kill the devil, he finally stepped into the darkness.

Just a few more steps forward, a little closer...

Roger smiled and said that he would let Lorenzo see the greatest existence in the world.

But soon, Roger's thoughts were interrupted by approaching sounds. The sounds were very complicated, including the sound of fireworks burning, the friction of metal dragging on the ground, and low panting. Faintly, he could hear the howling of wolves, as if a hungry wolf had crawled out of the shadows.

He stood up with the help of his spikes, his figure still shaky, but Roger was able to continue.

Just as Lorenzo speculated, this body was just a temporary carrier for Roger. Under the control of consciousness, the alienation of this body was far less powerful than that of the original body, and this became his limitation. As for where the real Roger was...

"You look really good now, Holmes."

Roger wiped his face and saw the beast-like Lorenzo. Now he looked no different from a demon, like a black wolf in armor, hunting prey following the trail of blood.

But the next second Roger's smiling face froze in place, and the delayed explosion slowly reached his ears.

The black wolf grasped the sword tightly, crushed the ground with his legs, and moved as fast as a meteor. In the blink of an eye, he arrived in front of him with a murderous aura.

The majestic deathly aura captured Roger in an instant. He hadn't felt this way for a long time, the feeling of being stared at by death. He immediately took action and tried to dodge to the side.

Lorenzo used all his strength in this sword strike. The moment he drew his sword, he could no longer change the direction of the blade. As long as he avoided the fatal blow at this moment, Roger could continue to counterattack.

But he didn't know that in Lorenzo's field of vision, Roger had already taken action. One Roger stood in place, while the other Roger had already started to move. He dodged to the side, and at the same time, he grew more armor to wrap the wounds that had not yet healed.

The illusory vision dissipated and the real world began to move forward.

The greatsword cut through the waves of heat, and Roger dodged as expected.

As he looked, Lorenzo fell towards his side with tremendous force. Roger successfully dodged the attack, but suddenly a stronger whistling wind arose.

The greatsword should have been cut deep into the ground under the huge force and inertia, but in Lorenzo's control, its power was twisted forcefully by his arms, causing Lorenzo's arms to make a shuddering sound, his muscles torn, and his bones to shatter. But also relying on these sacrifices, the greatsword was raised into a huge half-moon, sweeping across the fireworks and smoke, and cutting out a vacuum all around.

The meteor is coming, and the great sword will eliminate evil.

The armor was shattered before it could completely cover the body, and the broken hard material pierced into the flesh.
