Ember’s Gun

Chapter 664: Overload

"It feels like we are two stunning beauties, and these monsters are eager to possess us and tear us to pieces."

Red Falcon cocked his gun and muttered some bizarre nonsense.

In fact, Red Falcon and Merlin don’t have much in common. One is the chief technology officer of the Perpetual Motion Pump, and the other is an elite employee working on the front line. It’s just that this damn disaster brought the two together, allowing them to have a deeper understanding of each other.

Merlin has realized that the weirdness of Red Falcon's bullshit is directly proportional to the pressure he's under.

This made Merlin feel a little uncomfortable, but he didn't say much, because talking nonsense would help Red Falcon relieve stress. Compared to this guy with a deadly look on his face, Merlin liked this slightly nonsense Red Falcon better.

He was talking very fast now, interspersing his trash talk with greetings to the demonic female family.

"That won't do. Beautiful ladies won't like rude guys like you, not to mention that you have no manners at all. You came to someone else's house but didn't even knock on the door."

His finger was on the trigger. The demon had not yet broken through the gate, it had merely pried open a gap. There was no point in firing at this moment.

The pressure was great, but it didn't make Red Falcon lose his mind. He waited for the right moment and then pulled the trigger.

The bullet flew and hit the gap accurately the next second, followed by blood spurting.

The restlessness behind the door stopped for a few seconds, and then became more crazy. The friction sound of sharp claws became louder and louder, as if there were hundreds of sword-wielding warriors behind the door, slashing at the door, trying to break open the path.

"This is trespassing, everyone!"

Kestrel shouted.

The crack widened, and the demon's head poked out from it, showing a hideous smile to Red Falcon, and then the head exploded out of thin air.

Smoke was still coming out of the muzzle of the gun, and Hong Falcon had a blank expression on his face.

The headless corpse was stuck in the crack and was soon torn into pieces by sharp claws. More sharp claws stretched out from the scarlet.

Hong Shun guessed that it must be very crowded behind the door now, and maybe a stampede had already occurred. Before he opened fire, a large number of demons had probably been strangled to death inside. The corpses were piled up in front of the door, and streams of blood could be seen overflowing and flowing all over the ground.

"Everyone is eager to eat us, and no one wants to fall behind."

Red Falcon whispered and continued firing. Every time a demon tried to crawl out of the crack, it would be shot by him and then torn to pieces by the demons behind it.

However, this relief may not last long. The crack is getting bigger and bigger. Thanks to the disrepair here, the sliding rails of the gate are covered with rust, and every time it opens a little, it makes a creaking sound.

The frequency of firing was becoming higher and higher. With the ammunition that Hongshun carried, it would not be long before he had used up all of it. Then he would need to use his folding knife to cut a bloody path.

From here, cut all the way down to the surface.

Hong Falcon tried hard to make himself angry in order to gain some power, but he soon gave up.

As for the matter of survival, it’s better to forget about it. He and Merlin don’t have much chance of survival. It has been like this since the beginning.

He slowly retreated into the central control room behind him. The space here was very large, with several huge pipes falling vertically from above. Behind the heavy metal, there was a rumbling sound, as if something was rushing inside.
